I wanted these to work badly, but I am returning them. I ordered a wide, but the shoe definitely runs narrow because the wide is around the width of a narrow shoe. Otherwise, the sole of the shoe and style would be great for walking.

These shoes have excellent support but unfortunately the tongue is too long and the heel too short - I felt like I was going to slip out of the shoe. These are being returned.

It is insulting that they call this shoe wide -- more like a narrow medium. Wasn't thrilled with the look, but ordered because it was one of the very few lace up black shoes in wide on Zappos. These felt uncomfortable from the second I put them on. They pressed on the ball of foot in a weird way. Tried them with my orthotics and found they made the heel too shallow and my foot kept slipping out. I found nothing good about these. Reject, sent back.

I really wanted to love these. I ordered two pairs, 7.5M and 8M. Both pairs were too narrow but too wide in the heel. I had to send back.

When I first tried these on, I was really impressed with the support. I purchased them for an upcoming trip to Italy, where I will be doing a lot of walking. I wanted the comfort of a sneaker, with an upgraded style. I figured these would be great. I walked to to work in them, and they bend at the base of the toes, very uncomfortable and tight! I have a normal width food, I've never had shoes squeeze so tight. After a few minutes, half my foot was asleep. Very disappointed with this shoe.

This sneaker is seriously narrow. As a Keen devotee, I found the toe box to be so narrow that I couldn't even get them on while wearing socks.

I love the way these look. I loved the very many reviews. I was so sure they would be perfect. my size is 8W. My foot hardly fit in the shoe. It felt like a narrow size 7. Very disappointed. Obviously sending back. By the way, in case anyone needs to know: the Red is more like a burnt orange (as it looked on my computer), and the insoles are removable.

I cannot tell you about arch support. I normally wear a size 10½ but figured that I might wear these with heavy socks in winter so I had my mom order them in an 11 for a Christmas present. With just nylon pantyhose on I could not even begin to get these shoes on. I never have had a problem with a size 11. I have narrow feet but trying to put on these shoes felt like I was trying to squeeze my feet into a size 9! Beware - these shoes will not fit you if you order less than a full size larger - if not two full sizes larger!
