As I have aged, it is harder to bend down to tie shoes/boots. The Velcro makes it much easier and they look nice.

I use these sneakers as every day shoes and I like the ease of putting them on and taking them off quickly using the two Velcro closures on each sneaker. They are comfortable and look fine too.

My husband wanted a walking shoe without laces. These turned out to be perfect. Very comfortable, with wide width. He is very happy with this purchase.

Excellent fit & great service on a defective pair.

These shoe are great for comfort and he only likes the hook and loop. I have found the soles come apart from the upper body with regular use very fast. They do get wet so maybe that is why. Just wish the glue was a little stronger.

You have changed the sizing is no longer comfortable. I will have to try a different brand.

Sole came apart after 3 months not a good value get it better

the shoes are fine. comfy and supporting. BUT, if you decrease the length of the upper Velcro strap any more it will not fasten to its mate and the shoes will be worthless. in the 25 years I've been buying this style I have seen the upper Velcro strap get shorter and shorter. please make it a little longer.

my first pair are still going strong 6 years later but they are beat up from wear. this is my second purchase and i hope they do as well as the first.

I usually purchase the white lace-up 577s but decided to try the hook and loop 577s this time. These new shoes feel different on my feet. The shoes feel big enough with the exception they feel stiffer and a little smaller in the toe box area with a few areas on the inside tip that seem to rub on my toes. I am still in the process of breaking these new shoes in and cannot honestly give a review on comfort and wearability until I can wear them for an extended period which I so far have not been able to do. The lace-up shoes have always been 5 stars but I rate this pair lower for now.

I previously purchased the 877 version and had very good success with them. I purchased the 577 because i needed q black pair for work where the 877 only came in grey, all in all 577 just not as comfortable and my legs and feet feel tired after 7 days of wearing them. Will give them a few more days before i give up on them

I try to walk three miles daily with a lot of pressure on my heels. This shoe gives me the support and comfort I look for in a walking shoe. It's not easy to find a walking shoe in a narrow width; this shoe solves that problem.

Took about a week to break in, comfort is just ok.

These shoes are similar (the model numbers keep changing, but the design is consistent) to ones I have purchaed over and over throughout the years. They are wide enough in the toe for me, and the arch support is wonderful for my feet. Love 'em.

I wear my New Balance shoes at work and for walking around the neighborhood. I have worn them for 3 weeks now and they are very comfortable.
