I work standing 8-14 days. Good arch support but could be better padded under ball of foot. Works best with an added Dr. Schull(or other) insert. I enjoy the convenience of the velcro straps as well as buying from the NB website an American made shoe and having them delivered for less than an Asian made shoe at a big box store.

I bought these as my shoes for nursing school so I have not worn them a lot. They did hurt at first but got comfortable after a little more time wearing them.

Wear these shoes whenever I walk, usually ever day. The fit great and feel soft

NB shoes are the most comfortable, durable shoes I have worn.

These shoes are great for my troubled feet. I always have two pair of black and two pair of white on hand. Wide enough for bunions and always comfortable.

I'm on my 3rd pair of 577 velcro walking shoes. The only reason I switched to 577's is because the former New Balance shoe that I was buying was no longer available. I wear the 577's for 8 hours a day every day and a pair lasts me a year. The only reason I replace them is because I'm a diabetic and need firm-fitting shoes. After a year of sloshing through snow, slush, and pouring rain, they become a little stretched out... not enough for the average wearer, but enough to be considered too loose for my diabetic feet. Most diabetic shoes cost over $200 a pair and these are about $70 a pair, yet have amazing soles, insoles, and outer shoe quality construction. I've never had to replace a pair for falling apart or the soles wearing out.

Love the cushion on heel, not to high, on the mid sole a little tough, but have only used them 7-10 times , just breaking in. Overall a different kind for me , was used to Nike Men's Air Monarch IV Cross Trainer, and this is a walking shoe, they feel great, cushion materialsole

I returned this shoe because when I wore around the house there were 3 or 4 pressure spots in each shoe which caused constant discomfort. That's the problem of ordering online instead of in store. I was looking for a shoe that might beat my present brand in fit and price. Bone is good color.

Both my husband and I wear NB shoes ! The latest purchase was his 3rd pair of the same shoe ! A little more variety for me, but NB is the go to shoe for comfort. ...

Shoes didn't feel as good for walking as the running shoes I now have. Nothing wrong with them, just not the "right stuff."

i have always liked new balance shoes . they last long time and ave a great fit. i gave it three stars because of issues with stock of item after purchasing online.

Bought these because I hoped they'd be an alternative to the lace-up 577's that I wear daily for exercise walking and just walking and that have been in short supply. Big mistake. The two loops don't give me same the support in the shoe as the lace-ups. When I changed the inserts for my orthotics, they were even worse. I'll end up using these shoes with the standard inserts as regular walking shoes. Would hate to have to buy another pair.
