These shoes hurt! The 577 has a terrible shoe defect. The tongue on the shoe is way too long and curved. With each step I took, I felt pain against my ankle. The tongue was digging into my top of my ankles! Ouch. Too bad the cushioned insoles felt good and the rest of the fit was fine. It was just that terrible shoe tongue. I sent them back. I tried wider, and a bigger size thinking that would fix the tongue problem but it did not. Oh well, thank goodness for Zappos wonderful return policy.

Very uncomfortable with bleeding on my big toe after 2 walks. Zappos refunded my money for the second time in a month! I offered to return the shoes to prove I wasn't scamming them, but they said, "no need". I donated the second pair of shoes from Zappos to the local thrift shop.

What the hell happened to New Balance?? These shoes were cheaply made....and way too narrow for size 4E. I have been buying New balance tennis shoes for many years....now what?

This is the third time I’ve bought these exact shoes. I walk several miles a day and these are the best shoes I’ve ever had for walking. Will probably keep getting these shoes in perpetuity.

These shoes feel and look great. They are used by me for a lot of walking, I need narrow (B width) shoes and New Balance is great for this and these fit well.

The shoe was all I could ask for, however the job I was intending on taking was not suitable and i did not take the job, I purchased the shoes as I wanted the safety features for that job.

Fits well. Comfortable. Great price. Love the variety on Zappos.

The shoe was tight, my toes reached all the way to the end and overall it was uncomfortable. I wonder if New Balance sizes no longer fit me. I have been wearing New Balance for the past 10-15 years. I am 77 years old and find it hard to believe my foot has grown in width and length..

I normally wear narrow shoes, but I had difficulty with the narrow version of this shoe so I ordered the medium width. It’s still very uncomfortable and I prefer to return it and try to get something else.

Great fit, I cant remember how many times I had repurchased this shoe. Please do not discontinue!

OUTSTANDING quality & comfort. Thick excellent leather. Great support. Give a good 4-5 days of full day wearing to break in. Impressive!

Fit like a glove and comfortable. Worn with compression socks during nursing school clinical rotations. As long as I’m moving around, my feet and legs feel well supported. However, standing in one place for long periods is not comfortable

i just wrote a refview for the other pair of these shoes. i bought 2 pairs. My only complaint is that i cant get thiem in white at a sales price. and each pair i buy needs an orthodic which increases the price to me by an extra $60.00 per pair before I can even use the shoe.

i have purchased these shoes before and have been very pleased with them. my orthodics specialst who puts a lift in for me thinks they are fine.

Had the size wrong originally (foreign made shoe) but after a couple of returns the fit is great.

Best athletic shoe around. Great for flat feet. Easy to clean. Doesn't let in rainwater in toe area.

I really like the New Balance 577 walking sneakers. They fit well and wear very well. I like the conservative style-Not loud. The sneakers are very comfortable to walk in-and I do a lot of walking in my job. I am very satisfied with the sneakers. The price was reasonable.
