Purchased is Nov. Of 2022. Now it's April 2023, Leather is holding up. Only issue is not water proof enoug. Yes I oil them now and then. Only lasted like 3 months of actual work. I live in GA. I work on a farm. My point this pair didn't hold up like the last ones.

What a bummer, I received 2 pairs today that will be gifts and the colors are way dark. So I double checked the item numbers and they're correct. I take product photos for a living and find this really disappointing that the photos do not accurately depict the coloration at all. Bruin Brown is actually entirely black. For the price especially, this is disappointing.

I love my Ariat, but for some reason this specific style required a longer break-in time than my WorkHog XT Work Boots and my Big Rig Work Boots. Both of those required almost no break-in period. With the WorkHog Work Boots unfortunately I had to wear only for a few hours then switch to other work shoes until they were fully broken in which was far more of a hassle. For reference I walk a guaranteed 7,500-10,000 to steps a day on concrete, gravel, and climbing ladders. In general Ariat will last me a little over a year (1 year, 2 or 3 months) before the sole starts to really show wear and the liner will rip. The Timberland Pros I used to use prior to switching to Ariat would start to have the sole separate from the shoe at about the 6 month mark, and cloth liner would wear through and absolutely ruin the foam beneath before the 1 year mark. The Merrells before that started to have issue with the soles between 4-6 months. In my experience the Ariat work boots have been significantly more durable for only a little bit higher upfront cost.

Why not make a solid color sole rather than than the bright colors takes the cowboy out of those boots

I have been wearing these boots for years. I have only one problem with them. The tend to split on the back of the boot. Earlier and earlier with each pair. They used to last 2 years. This pair is less than a year old. There is still plenty of tread left on them but the back doesn't last as long as the rest.

I like these boots extremely well except the sole is tough to clean in a farm environment. They provide excellent traction but extremely tough to clean Would love to have a sole easier to clean. Any suggestion?

Normal boots they are not good at being waterproof I bought them a year ago almost and the leather is a good quality and the soul is very comfortable nice boots but again not good against water a little heavy but if you looking for lighter boots you might wanna get something different than this great for outside and heavy duty work not good on shop and water environment.

I'll never buy these again. Wanted a strong comfortable long lasting work boot that was 100% waterproof. I've had these boots for less than a year. The leather is strong and durable. The rubber sole is also very tough but the layers between the insole and the sole are coming apart.. cracking and separating. These boots are water resistant at the most.. my feet are always wet.. if I walk through wet grass for more than 5 minutes oiled or not I can expect to be putting them on the dryer overnight. The worst thing about these works boots which is my biggest issue is they're terribly uncomfortable. I get 4 hours on my feet before they start hurting. I have 7 horses and many other animals. I'm on my feet for 14-16 hours everyday. I wouldn't recommend these Ariat boots for wet seasons or long days. I do consider them a safe reliable pair of work boots, but not for the price.

Real comfortable, but didn't last past 5 months the sole on both boots cracked in half and the bottom started peeling, they're not waterproof anymore.

For as expensive as theses boots are they didn't even last a year and the soles in bottom are so soft that walking across a gravel driveway I could feel stones pushing up into the bottom of my feet. The bottoms started separating and i had to glue back together after 6 months. Loved the composite toe and the fit was good otherwise. Would not buy again

Very comfortable boots and not a lot of break-in time is needed. However, I have had two pairs of these boots (one replaced under warranty) and both pairs have had the inner liner separated making it very difficult to remove the boot. The first time the boots only made it 2.5 months before it happened, the second time it took about 6 months for the liner to detach. I wish they would fix this issue because I love how comfortable the boots are.

less than satisfied with these boots have purchased 3 pairs now and all barley last a year with medium to hard use the inside liner by the heel comes loose and makes it impossible to get my foot out. not a bad boot over all but way over priced for what they are.

I've owned two pairs of this boot and they lasted some time. They are very comfortable and fit great. I work in an oil refinery and these boots were tuff and durable. The problem I had with both pairs is that after about 6 months the inner liner pulled out. On the first pair, I tried to get my foot out of the boot for 20 minutes before I finally took out my knife and cut them off. Second pair did the same thing about 8 months in, but I was able to use them for a little while I would just have to fix the liner every time I took them off. Then I had the terrible experience of getting my foot stuck again in the boot. After wrestling them off for 15 minutes I threw them in the trash. These would be great boots if they could figure out this problem

I have owned and loved many Ariat products over the years but I am now giving up on them. The quality of this brand has tanked they just don't hold up to the wear and tear I put them through anymore.

These boots look good, are comfortable, work great in the snow and extremely water proof. However I have only had these boots 5 months and the soles have holes and are super warn, when I crouch and crease the fabric around the steel toe, it gets stuck and rubs on my right foot for the rest of the day, I weigh 150lbs and am a tractor and automotive mechanic and am not super hard on them. This is very disappointing as my last pair of ariats lasted 5 years before they were in this shape and these ones have only lasted 5 months, I really hope this isn't the new standard for ariat boots!

I have been trying to give these boots a chance but I'm close to giving them away. I have been wearing them on and off for 6 months and they still have not broken in. Left boot is loose and slips on my heel, right boot is very tight across the top of my foot so much so that I can barley put it on. Haven't had this problem with countless other boots. Sole doesn't want to bend at all, feels like I'm walking on flat blocks. Leather very stiff. I understand wanting to make a boot durable but you have to be able to wear them without being in pain. I put leather conditioner on them when I first got them and let them sit, soaked them in warm water and tried wearing different socks and these are still the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned.

Boots look good and are comfortable. However, after being worn a handful of times for work, which is indoors and a mixture of walking warehouse floor and desk work, there is stitching coming loose/undone. For the money, would have hoped for better build quality.

I have been wearing these exact boots BUT in non safety toe for years. I needed a new pair and decided to get them in the composite toe that way I can wear them at work. So I figured naturally to get the same size that I Have been wearing for years, unfortunately these feel like they are huge compared to the non safety toe that I have been wearing. I have tried buying different socks, stacking insoles, different insoles, thicker insoles. you name it I've tried it. I love these boot and will continue to buy them but NOT in a composite toe. Unfortunately I have 2 paper weights that my feet swim in

I gave to my husband for Christmas. They are his "good" boots and only worn less than 5 times within the past month. The Duratread has now started tearing from the sole. Very disappointing considering the cost.
