Bought these for my son 13 yo for Christmas he has been wanting Ariat boots for at least 3 years. The price was hard for this school teacher mom of 3. He loves them. Only issue he said was tough to break them in. We conditioned them with mink oil and that helped. He has worn them for one month now and loves them. We shall see how long they hold up!

I have had these boots for a couple of months and they are Great workboots kinda heavy but with all the features what do u expect they are 100% waterproof durable and one downside is they take a while to break in but all in all excellent work boots

I really enjoy these boots, the comfort level is great with the additional protection of the composite without the added weight of a traditional steel toe. I did find that once they relaxed I should have gone with a half size smaller. It's getting cold here so thick sock and there is no issue. Will buy again.

I've worn these boots for years now. They are great in almost every way. My only gripe is the insole. They are very thin and flat, leading to sore feet and legs. I replace the insole and these boots outlast every other brand I've tried.

I've been daily wearing them for 1 year and they still fell great the only problem is the back of the sole starts to tear apart but it doesn't affect the boot

The sole is comfy but a little too soft. Lost its shape. The toe width runs a little skinny.

Bought boots a couple weeks ago. So far they are holding up well and definitely waterproof (stood in some puddles to test). I tried many different companies of boots and Ariat (along with Caterpillar) had the best fit for a slip on boot. Roomy but still clung to the heal to prevent slippage. Break in period was 2 days of slight discomfort and now they are good. I would have preffered a half size smaller in a wide option but it is difficult to get my heel in (very easy to take off). This is my only concern as i can see it wearing the heel in overtime when i struggle to get it on (may buy a long shoe horn to see if it helps). So now the boot is a bit too roomy for the work i do so they will be for the slow days.

Heels are loose. wish they had a heel size option for different feet. They are amazing boots apart from a mild issue. I feel like i can do everything in them besides two things; run and dig.

I see and know a lot of people who come in with the problem to find a good boot that isn't steel toe, composite toe are well the #1 pair I tell everyone about, it's more durable and doesn't bother your toes if anything is dropped. I've been told so many stories where they have had their steel toe actually snap and bend on them.

I assume it will last as long as my previous pair of Work Hog Steel toe boots. Positives are the appearance and apparent build quality. Negatives are 1) it feels a bit tighter width wise than my previous pair, 2) it seems a bit warmer than my previous pair so my feet sweat more, 3) it is taking longer to break in than I recall the previous pair taking, and 4) the shaft of the boot around the calf is bigger than before. The shaft is too big in my opinion. I'm not a small guy. I'm nearly 200 pounds at 6' tall and wear a size 9 in these boots. There is no need for that much space in the shaft. It pokes my jeans out a bit. Hopefully after the leather breaks in it will bend in closer to my leg.

The heel liner broke down and eventually made it quite a chore to get out of the boots. The welt broke down and the boot eventually lost its waterproof quality. Very comfortable right out of the box though! Next to no break in and the ATS tech worked well for my feet.

Had these for 2 months and outsoles are already deteriorating as well as the insoles starting to peel back on the heel. Comfortable boot for long hours but was expecting to last longer.

Fairly comfy, but after 10 hr day I'm ready to take them off. Only had them for about 3 weeks they're broken in and seem to be doing better but would like something more comfortable for long term days.

One of the quickest break in periods I've had for a pair of boots. Felt good from the first time I put them on and were perfect after two days. I did have to return my first pair as they came a bit larger than true to size, but the return service was wonderful as well.

Boots have been great. Leather is very tuff and durable. Only if ariat could keep the outsoles from falling off

I bought these because the first pair I ordered of different model was out of stock so I ordered a size down from my normal size because first pair was sloppy. I wanted them to be on the snug side because I know they would loosen up once broken in. These fit perfect on one foot and pretty snug on the other. I am just getting them broke in fully and the one is just a bit to snug yet. The right foot is tight still while the other fits perfect, this is the opposite of the first pair I ordered and had to send back, so I so not think is due to my feet being slightly different. If you are normal width but want a steel toe perhaps go with the next width up. Overall they are great boots, just be aware that they can be warm due to the waterproofing liner so if you are working in hot conditions, may want to rethink these. I like they and the footbed and insole all are great. My only issue is the fit I have had 6 pairs of ariats and sent back at least 3 pairs over the years because they seem to vary to much in sizing. A size 12 fits differently between models and even the pair. They need tighter quality controls on sizing in my opinion, just too much variability. That said I only buy Ariats because they seem to always have to most comfy platform, outsole and insole.

I've only had these boots for 2 days now the right boot inner liner is separated from the boot causing it to suction cup to your foot making it very difficult to get the boot off it took me every bit of 30 35 minutes trying to get that boot off I hope this is not the start of a core design when it comes to durability because the comfort is there it's awesome the look is there it's awesome but it's only my second day and I'm already having issues I know area I can do better than this

The product picture doesn't really capture how dark the color on these boots is. At first glance one can say the boots are black but the more you wear them, the faster you'll start to wear off that blackish color and reveal the true brown color. Very comfortable boots, I work with cattle and hay production and am able to stay standing all day due to the soft insoles and composite sole. I've purchased other Ariat boots before and they've stood the test of time and the significant use I've given them, so far with these boots I haven't had any problem yet. Another thing is that they're kinda chunky so the few first days you'll have to wear them a lot to break them in.

Boots are great! Bought them for my daughter's boyfriend for Christmas! He loves them. I had to return first pair as they were too big. Refund has still not processed two weeks later!

Comfortable and look good. The upper leg part of the boot is a little wide.
