Love this shoe but sadly have to return it because it is so narrow. A bit rough on the heel and definitely runs small.

These are cute but not supportive and they run small. Since my other Merrell shoes are great so I thought these would be better. They are cute but they're going back.

I wear an 8 in nearly all shoes but based on the other reviewer's comments about this shoe running small I ordered an 8 1/2 and it's still too small.

I loved these shoes, I am so disappointed that the sizing is just crazy for these shoes. I read all the reviews and decided that the shoes seemed to run small for most people. I normally wear an 8, so I ordered an 8 1/2 and a 9 to try. The 8 1/2 was huge, it was really really wide and was falling off my foot. So I returned those and tried an 8. These ones were so short my toes were all scrunched up. I was tempted to try an different pair of 8 1/2's, but decided that the sizing was just too inconsistent. I love Merrell shoes and for me they are the most comfortable, as I work long hours and need a shoe I can be moving in for 12 hours straight, but these ones just wouldn't work out no matter how pretty of a shoe they are.

Very cute style, however, they hurt like anything after wearing them a couple if hours. I thought they would stretch a bit but they did not. Yikes, for lack,of a better comparison they felt like wooden shoes. I donated them to Goodwill. Two colors, two pairs.

I have worn these shoes for about a month now. They are a terrible disappointment. They are uncomfortable and poor quality. I trusted the Merrell name, which I will not do again. They are not worth even half the purchase price. I would not buy them again and do not recommend them for other buyers.

After reading multiple reviews, I ordered these shoes half a size larger. That is too big! Also too wide, even though I normally wear a medium. For this price these shoes are a big disappointment. They are very plain, ill-fitting, and not worth the money. The arch is low and the heel is not conforming.

I really liked the style and the fit was true to size. However, for a Merrell product, I was disappointed with the comfort of the shoe. I am quite petite (5'2", 115 lbs.), so my body frame was not a factor in the level of discomfort I experienced. My feet need a lot of cushion because I am on them 6-7 hours during each work day. This shoe did not provide that. The insert is thin causing me to feel the tough, hard rubber sole of the shoe.

These were some of the most painful shoes I have ever bought. They are adorable and the footbed is nice and cushiony, but there is a strip of REALLY hard leather around the opening, right where it hits all the tender spots on your foot. I have tried SO hard to condition them and break them in but to no avail. I cannot wear them for more than 10 minutes without blisters. Such a shame.

I originally gave a good review, that was until I wore the shoes more then around the house. I wore them out and within a half hour my feet were in agony. I read the reviews and ordered a half size up, and my heel slipped in the shoe but the toe area was very uncomfortable and I felt like my toes were in a metal vise. They cute as can be and I wish they would have worked out but they are very, very uncomfortable.

I want to love these shoes, but I simply cannot break them in. The back of the shoe is so hard and inflexible, it rubs against the back of my foot and causes terrible blisters. It is otherwise what I am looking for in a shoe - good support, well made, very sturdy.

I have very wide toes and feet, these shoes are not made for me. The size 5.0 only fits well on my left foot - I guess either my feet have become two different sizes or one shoe is smaller than the other. My right foot gets jammed in on my little toe side and by the end of the day it feels sprained or broken and I have to rub it back to life. I'm normally a huge fan of Merrells since I teach and am on my feet all day. These I've worn too many times to return so I'll be buying a different black flat and throwing these away.

These shoes killed my feet. The edges of the shoes are so sharp they feel like they're cutting my skin. They also don't have much support at the outer edges of the shoes, so my baby toe bunions get really inflamed when I attempt to wear these.

I was so excited to get these shoes because they are a mix between comfort and fashion. However, I was sorely disappointed in the fit. I am a 7.5 and they were SUPER tight, so I exchanged for an 8 and they were better. If I hadn't been going on a big trip (which is why I needed comfy shoes) I would have DEFINITELY returned them. Sadly, now they are just the shoes I throw on when the weather is bad or when working in the yard.

I'm still breaking these in. They have better support than a typical ballet flat but are a little clunkier and look a bit like boats. I spend a good amount of time walking for work and the first day these cut up my heels. If I hadn't worn them, I would definitely be returning them.

I found these shoes a bit wide - especially in the front. I have slightly narrow feet so this may have been more noticeable to me. I also found these shoes made a squeaking noise which I could not live with even if they fit beautifully.

I LOVED these shoes except I had the same problem another person wrote with the top area feeling like it was cutting my skin. I had a similar problem with a pair of Dansko shoes – the problem is the nylon thread the top edge is sewn with. Really painful if you are sensitive or have allergies to synthetic fibers. I wore them under my desk at work for 20 minutes without walking and decided to return them. Truly a shame because the shoe is very cute, well made and has wonderful support inside.

Very disappointing. These were so wide that whatever arch support existed was undetectable. Not up to Merrell standards at all.

I ordered two pairs of these shoes, one half a size larger, after reading what other people wrote. I found that the size felt true to size. But the sharp edges, especially at the heel, were too much to even try and break-in. I had to send both back. Thank you, Zappos, for letting me buy and return them without penalty!

Such a cute style, such a horrid, stiff fit across the top of the foot, toes and at heel. Dang. Back they went. Got the Mimosa Fizz MJ instead...not as cute but wearable. Though, wouldn't wear w/a skirt or dress pants.

Merrell really dropped the ball with this shoe. I have always enjoyed wearing the many Merrell jungle mocs, slides and sandals because of their superb fit,support and durability. But this flat does not make the grade. I've been looking for a gray and really liked the color and style but I am returning it as there is no support and the shoes flop open whenever I take a step. Too bad as they are cute to look at.

Ow. Ow. Ow. These HURT!!! The edges are sharp as others have said. I don't know what happened to Merrell. None of their shoes are comfortable anymore. The barefoot line is awful too. What a shame, but I won't be buying Merrell anymore.

I loved these shoes and wore them about 10 times. They were so comfortable and cute. On the 10th time, the right shoe suede part ripped by the sole. Don't know how it happened as I was just walking on pavement. So after 10 wearings, my cute comfortable Avessos are worthless! No more Merrells for me.

Merrell has always been my top brand for comfort and support...until I purchased these flats. While they are great looking and are fine if you don't have foot issues, they would not be my pick for all day on your feet wear. I called Merrell headquarters to complain. They agreed these are for short hops to the grocery, not long term option for feet that need a lot of padding.
