Love these shoes! Bought several pairs of trail/hiking shoes to try out. These were the ones I decided to keep! Great comfort and look really nice too (don't look too casual or "sneakerish" when wearing with jeans...helps dress up the look a little). I do have a narrow foot (even though I don't normally order "narrow" sizes). So considering the fit seemed so perfect for me, it is possible the shoe runs a little narrow. (Definitely made my foot look smaller or "cuter" than the other bulky trail shoes I tried - just didn't feel smaller to me.)

I just bought my second pair of these shoes. I bought the first pair less than 2 months ago. The shoes are comfortable, sturdy and warm. I bought the first pair for a 25 day trek in Africa. I hiked the Simiens in them. I only took them off when sleeping. Only because I left them in Africa did I have to replace them. Also, Zappos gets them to you in a timely manner.

Great hiking shoe/sneaker hybrid. Great colors. Super comfortable. A nice change from my Keen Targhee II's. These do feel a bit wide or loose, as do the Keens, but I think this is by design. They are not actually too wide, and you'll notice that your foot does not slide in them and they do not cause blisters.

A very comfortable shoe with good overall support, no hot spots. I have some nerve damage in my lower leg and a titanium rod supporting my tibia, and I have trouble getting comfortable as you might imagine. I highly recommend these for comfort and support. I was an 8.5M but since my accident I cannot wear very many shoes in that size, this pair are 9M and fit great. The tongue is short would be my only negative thought not a deal breaker for me. Love them!

I was reluctant to buy these shoes based on reviews reporting blisters, but after trying on many pairs of low top hikers these were the most comfortable and I went for it. I bought my usual size and they were great. I wore them daily for two weeks on a recent trip to Alaska. We took mild to moderate hikes and the traction was great. We also walked on pavement. The toe box is roomy and comfortable. I did not develop any blisters and I purchased these shoes in my usual size, the half size up slipped on my heel. I have been dealing with painful plantar fasciitis for about a year, but with using my inserts in these shoes I was able to keep up with my family.

The best shoe Ive ever owned. Excellent arch support. I ordered a half size up based on reviews, but didnt need to. They are a little big, but just have to lace up really tight. There is a break in period, which will hopefully be 3-4 days! They looked cute in the picture, but even cuter on. Love these shoes!

I liked the looks of this shoe. I needed a good shoe for my feet and ankles. Was waiting till they were on sale. They came fast. They are the most comfortable shoes ever. I just love them. They give my feet great support. I would get another pair of these again.

These lightweight, waterproof shoes are great! I got them for a trip to Alaska this spring... but living in Chicago, I'm breaking them in NOW. Great fit, true to size, arch and ankle friendly.

I love these shoes! I'm going to wear them even when I'm not hiking! I ordered a half size bigger than my normal size (I'm a 6). I do this with tennis shoes as well as I find it is uncomfortable when my toe jams when running. I'm glad I went up a half size! Light on my feet and oh so comfortable!

I have never tried this brand before, but I am more than happy with the fit, quality and look. I have narrow heels and they are able to accommodate that comfortably without feeling like foot-vises. I would recommend these heartily!

Absolutely comfortable and they actually look stylish for a walking shoe! I have nightmare feet, arthritis and long, narrow size--this shoe is a real problem-solver! I say no arch support because I don't want any!

Love these shoes - super comfortable and great looking. But they run too small! I wear a size 11, and the 11s were a whole size too small for me. Since 11 is the largest they make, I'm out of luck. So sad.

First day out of the box I wore them for 12 hours. My feet didn't get tired at all. I have the Ahnu sandals and love them! So I gave these a try. The one complaint is, the rubber "tip" on one of the front of the toe is slightly peeling off, nothing that a spot of glue can't take care of. Also, there is 2 little stitches(orange color) on the sides of shoe where your toes are. One has come undone. These are cosmetic only but I thought they shouldn't come undone within the first week or so of wear. Otherwise construction is super sturdy and would buy them again.

Excellent shoes. Just wore them all through Glacier National Park in Montana with no problems at all. Completely waterproof and comfortable! Not to mention cute...got a ton of compliments on them. I bought the chocolate chip.

I loved this shoe. Great stability and arch support. Nice looking. Unfortunately they don’t come in wide and ordering half a size up didn’t help to address the compression of my wider foot (felt awesome on my other foot). If your don’t have wide feet, get these.

These have such great support, excellent stability, and look quite nice. I have an injured foot (and was trying to find a good shoe for recovery that didn't look ridiculous). These weren't wide enough - please introduce wides Ahnu.

Love the lacing on these shoes - easy to get a nice tight lacing. However, found this shoes to have a fairly wide heel area. Really liked the look and construction...thinking would be great for someone with a slightly fuller foot or wearing heavier socks. Went with the Salewa brand instead.

I have had to return this shoe again as the heel slips too much even with heavy socks. The first pair I received had a defective right shoe. Zappos is great for taking the hassel out of shopping for shoes.

Have ordered these for myself & my 2 daughters; we love them. Great fit & support - the arch is fantastic. Comfortable right out of the box, with minimal need for breaking in. We've worn these on hikes in Alaska, South America and the most dangerous place of all ... Las Vegas!

Why do they change things (jeans, bras, shoes) as soon as you find one that is comfortable? I was so happy with the Montara. The Montara II is NOT an improvement! I will have to return both of them as they are much stiffer and heavier than the originals.

I love these shoes but I need an 11.5 in them and their largest size is 11. Such a bummer that nobody makes bigger than size 11 for women!

I have a hard-to-fit, narrow foot, usually either size 10.5 M or 11 N. I ordered this shoe in a 10.5 M and an 11 M, since there is no narrow. My toe was just grazing the end of the shoe in the 10.5, but the 11 works. However, it is a little too wide for my narrow foot. It is a really cute hiking shoe in the dahlia red color. I wish it came in a narrow width, but alas, I have to solve that issue with creative lacing. Feedback to hiking shoe companies/designers...narrow sizes please! I will keep this shoe unless I find a better option, but I think I have now tried 7 different hiking shoes, to no avail. Narrow sizes needed! Not all long-footed ladies have wide hobbit feet!

Everyone said these ran small and narrow. I disagree. I wear a 10N and have a hard time finding narrow shoes. The heels were loose for me but overall I really like these shoes. However, they seem like any medium width shoe to me. I wish they were more snug! Great colors!

So cute, but too wide at the heel, so they slip. Arch support, toebox were good for my wide, flat feet. True to size.

I ordered these shoes in February 2015 and they were great. They fit right out of the box and held up in a 100 kilometer walk across Spain. I reordered the same shoes in February 2016 and was disappointed. The shoes are visibly shorter than last year's model and therefore not as wide. The shoes do not come in wide widths so there is no other solution other than to move to another brand entirely. I love the Ahnu brand and the Montara II had the widest footbed in the line. I wish that they had not changed this model. Or started offering a wide. It is really too bad I have to give up on this brand.
