I have been suffering from plantar fasciities on both feet for over a year now. I love to work out. I do turbo kickbox, Bokwa (you have got to try this really fun and addicting dance exercise), and step aerobics. I'm at the gym six times a week, often with back-to-back classes on weekends ... but unfortunately, I will then be limping for the rest of the day. But thanks to these God-send shoes, I am now in less pain!! They have great support for my high arches and the cushioning feels like foam, no, more like clouds, for my sore and painful heels. Thank you, Asics! I have now officially converted from Nike.

I am in love with the Nimbus! This is my third pair. I have tried other Asics and even Brooks but I keep coming back to the Nimbus. I have degenerative disc disease so a proper supporting everyday shoe is a must! These fit the bill! Only one negative, the price, but it seems that you get what you pay for.

Great feel and look for running shoe, highly recommend. A bit wide for lateral moves in cross training workouts.

I love these shoes for running! They have made such difference in knee and ankle imPact! I opened them at 9 at night and loved them so much that I went for a run. I have wider feet and they feel great!

I have been running in Asics Nimbus since for over 13 years and the Nimbus 13 was terrible! They did not hold up at all, the fit was awful. I am looking forward to wearing my new Nimbus 14 as I train for the Nike Women's Marathon. Hope they've gone back to what always worked before.

I loved this shoe the minute I put it on. It fits my narrow foot perfectly and is very cushiony. I'm not a runner but this is a great shoe for walking. I'm so grateful that Asics makes narrow shoes for working out.

These are nice shoes but just aren't as good for me as previous models. Unfortunately one can't find those often and although the newer models may have improvements, they seem to come with an annual increase to the price tag.

Overall great product but after 2 months, there was a hole created by my big toe. I religiously trimmed my nail prior to using these shoes because of previous experience with mesh/fabric running shoes. Best advice is to put a gel toe cap to protect your shoe from tearing apart in the big toenail area.

I ordered these on sale for running shoes. I had bought these last year at my local running store and was very happy with them. The new model this year went up in price. They seem to be working fine. They don't fit as well as my pair last year but I keep hoping they start to fit better. It is only the left shoe that feels weird.

The show weighs a little more than I had anticipated (I have been running in the lyte shoes recently). Also the color is very bright. But the shoe is of great quality, great support and feels great on runs. I would recommend it!

I always wear Asics to run in, and normally the Gel Nimbus. This particular shoe felt more narrow than other years' versions. I'll keep them but it's taken me longer than usual to break a running shoe in.

I normally buy Nimbus but thought I'd give these a go. They are very comfy but really not sized right. As long as you pay attention to that and adjust your order you should be fine. I wear them in the house only when I am cleaning for support. They are very nice & keep my back & knees happy. At the end of the day my feet don't hurt.

I like the Asics brand - comfortable from the first moment you put them on; there is no breaking in period. I notice, however, that they wear out quicker than other brands and perhaps this is why -- the construction materials are more flexible and "forgiving", and hence more comfortable. Requires choosing between comfort and durability.

Not wide enough. 8 D looks like a medium width by any measurement, and is approximately 75% the width of the NB 1011 D width. Could barely get my foot in it, so I can't say how comfortable it would be for people with normal feet. Nice shoe, good versatile colors (for jeans/work as well as exercise) although the colors are actually lighter than they appear here, and are more purple; but since the NB is phasing out its lines for cushion running shoes, I'll have to go with the Brooks to accommodate my forefoot. I prefer the looks of the Asics (w/o the neon) so if they want wide-foot business, they could get it!

Compared to the Gel-Nimbus 12, this shoe felt more narrow, so I had to get a D width (which is a first for me). So, this shoe feels a little constraining, but I've eventually gotten used to it.

Just bought my second pair of these. I initially bought these after I got my prescribed orthotics. Since my foot issues surfaced, I pretty much wear athletic shoes constantly. The orthotics fit nicely and the shoes are very comfortable.

I have worn the Nimbus 13/14 for the past three years. I underpronate and these are the only shoes that keep me free of knee pain. I would give them a 4½ if possible because the soles wear quicker than some other brands. Well within the normal range for typical road running but definitely on the low end. They fit true to size although I went up half a size as I typically do for running shoes.

Love these shoes, nice bright color. They fit perfectly even with my insole. I have wide, flat feet & there is no tightness or discomfort, plenty of room in the toe box. These shoes give me the best support for my plantar fasciitis & flat feet. You won't go wrong with these. Invest in good shoes and treat your feet right.

Shoe feels good. I'm a stay-fit walker, 4-5 miles, have had a lot of general foot problems in the past, and these shoes work for me. Only thing is they seem to come up a little too high in the heel but band aids fix that. Asics will be my shoe of choice in the future.

Well, I am slightly disappointed in these shoes. It seems that the back comes up a fraction of an inch higher than previous models and now I'm getting blisters for the first time ever. I'm hoping that the more miles I put on the shoes, the more I break them in and the back leather wrapping loosens up a bit.

Like shoe; only comment is that it doesn't feel as cushy as I thought it might with the gel heel and memory insert. But it's comfy, and I like the reflective striping for safety/visibility.

I've had 2 pair of Nimbus 12 without issues. This pair is more narrow but still comfortable. Asics is the most comfortable brand for running and or standing on your feet all day.

These shoes are perfect. I don't use them for running, I use them for crossfit and classes at my local gym and they provide great support (for side to side movements) and comfortable. The orange is brighter than I expected but the combination of colors is still great- I get compliments all the time. Great shoe.

I run over six miles nearly daily and I am an Asics fan. My preferred shoes; the Asics Gel-Nimbus. I have worn many versions of these shoes but I must say that the quality is depreciating on every new pair. It is not Zappos, it is Asics. The shoes lack the cushioning that you look for and desire in the Nimbus. I do not know what to tell you but it is a shame that one has to purchase new insoles to make these shoes comfortable. Especially when the cost is already steep. Bottom line I love Zappos and I am making my pair work. Good luck, runners.
