I've had several generations of the GEL-Nimbus and loved them all. Unfortunately the 14 is completely different. I liked the wider toe box but as I have a neuroma I need a neutral shoe and the 14 is no longer neutral (or at least not neutral enough for me). After 2 days of wearing the 14, I'm back in my 13s till I can find a new neutral shoe.

I was fitted for Asics Gel Nimbus 11 at a running store. Great shoe. I continued to purchase Gel Nimbus every 6 months. My favorite is the Gel Nimbus 13. I am not impressed at all with Gel Nimbus 14. The over fit is wider than any other Gel Nimbus I have had. Hopefully, Gel Nimbus 15 is redesigned, otherwise, I will have to start looking for a better shoe.

I was looking for a pair of athletic shoes for cross training and running to replace my current Zigtech Reeboks since I do not really care for the style of the 2014 version. I tend to walk on the insides of my feet so the Asics were suggested for over pronation. I liked what I read about the shoes, the reviews, and from the pictures the shoes looked great. When I received the shoes I was disappointed to see that the outside of the shoe looked like cheap shiny plastic. They were so stiff right out of the box and after walking around the house in them they never seemed to loosen up. There was zero cushioning and support. The shoe box is pretty narrow as well. I gave the overall rating a 2 based on the fact that Zappos has excellent shipment and return.

I am disappointed in the 14. I have been an exclusive GEL-Nimbus wearer for many years and this shoe just doesn't feel right. My normal size was too small and the next half up is a little big. Definitely more narrow in the toe box.

Very uncomfortable shoe, I have worn this brand and style for years. But they have changed the type of thread or material they use for seams. It has made them unsatisfactory to wear. They press on areas that cause bruises. Had to return them.

I ordered both the Nimbus 14 & 15 because I couldn't decide which shoe would be better from reading the reviews. I've been out of running for a few years but used to wear Nimbus 12's and loved them. The 15's are just like my 12's...great cushioning, extremely light and fit like a glove!! I wear size 12 narrow so finding a great fitting shoe is no easy task! The 14's didn't seem to have good shock absorption in the ball of the foot and the shoe seemed so cheaply made. It was nothing like my 12's. I recommend spending a little extra and getting the 15's. They are like running on a cloud! I love them!

I'm not happy with these at all. I run around 20 miles a week and I found that my toes tended to go "numb" in these for the first couple of weeks. I thought I just needed to break them in, but I now notice my feet hurt later in the day. I've always been happy with Asics, but will look for another style.

I wanted to try another brand of running shoe and I love the Zappos VIP service! The Asics Gel-Nimbus did not live up to my expectations. The toe box on this shoe is so wide that I had to tighten the laces so much that it hurt the top of my foot. But, if I didn't tighten the laces, my foot was slipping around in the shoe. This shoe feels about a half size bigger than marked. I will definitely stick with my Brooks Glycerine.

I wore and loved my last pair of Asics Nimbus probably a few hundred miles more than you're supposed to, so it was a no brainer to order these. However, I was so disappointed when I tried them on and found that the toe box is narrower than my old pair. I've never needed a wide shoe before! Back to Zappos they go!

After Nimbus 12, the 13 and 14 have gone downhill. The last of the shoe seems to be cut smaller. Also I noticed the distribution of the gel in this 14 isn't the same in the heel. I also ordered the Kinsei 4. What's interesting is that the Kinsei for is more similar to the old Nimbus. I'm keeping the Kinsei that I ordered at the same time to compare.

I've been an Asics Nimbus fan for years, but this latest update is horrible. I kept thinking I just needed to break them in (which I never had to with previous versions of this shoe) but just ended up with blisters and knee pain. So sad that they fixed something that wasn't broken!

I do not have wide feet, but these shoes fit way too tight over the top of my foot. The laces were not long enough. I also developed bad ITBS while running in these. Not a fan.

I have been a dedicated Asics Nimbus wearer for many years. Each new pair used to fit perfectly out of the box, with excellent cushioning that was like pillows on my feet. I skipped the 13's due to bad reviews and waited for these but have been very, very disappointed. It feels like they removed about 50% of the cushioning. My old 11's are more shock-absorbent than these. They are also much more rigid than prior versions. My left foot went numb the first time I ran in them, possibly due to a narrower toe box. Overall, and especially for this price these are a big disappointment. Bring back the Nimbus 11 or 12.

I really wanted these shoes to work because I love the color combination for this style. However, I am size 10.5, flat arches and wide feet. The shoes were comfortable, but I didn't feel they were giving me enough support, plus my feet looked ugly. Sadly, I have to return them.

These run narrow, and like most shoe companies they only offer the wide width in the ugliest color! Why is that? These shoe companies need to get a clue! Just because we have a wider foot doesn't mean we want the ugly colors! I ordered the black ones with the pink and green trim, they were so cute but too narrow and there was no way I would be able to fit a custom insole into them. Back to Zappos they went!

I bought these shoes because I has having pain in my heels - they have great padding and fixed that problem. But I have gone on two long runs with these (7 miles) and both times were quite uncomfortable. I think it has something to do with the heel drop - there was a lot of pressure and friction on the ball of my foot and it caused inflammation and made my foot very hot. The shoes are even painful when I'm not running - they are pretty tight and don't breathe well.

Nice looking shoe, but a little flashy for my taste. The shoelaces are too short to double knot. Heel slippage and a toe box that was so narrow it made my outer toes numb made this shoe a no go.

Not pleased with these shoes. Switched to Gel Nimbus only after Brooks messed with the Ravenna, making the Ravenna 3 much wider than the Ravenna 2, so it no longer fit me (my feet actually slid side to side, they were so wide). I tried Mizunos next but the shorter toe box of the Mizuno Wave Inspire caused blisters on my toes for runs longer than 10 miles. I have narrow feet, but normal width toes and flat arches. I wear orthotics after a bout with heel spurs. So it was back to the drawing board. But these shoes which fit my feet great, being narrower through the body of the shoe, hugging my arches, longer in the toe box, and well cushioned, felt clunky and heavy. Felt like I was running back on my heels (not good for a heel striker to begin with) and within three weeks felt jarring and pain in my glutes/lower back from hitting my heels so hard. I had this pain even on shorter runs of 4-5 miles. Too clunky of a shoe. Would much rather deal with the blisters from the Mizunos. Do not recommend this shoe for a lighter person (I weigh 120 and am 5'5") or someone who has issues with heel striking. On the plus side, the cushioning is great.

Poorly made. I saw spot of glue at the bottom. I felt there wasn't enough support, especially at the front.

My feet have have been bothering when running so I thought I would go back to one of my old favorites to solve the issues. The Nimbus I am have worked out in them twice once doing insanity and today running a few miles. They are not comfortable at all. They are tight on the baby toe as another reviewer stated and I even got a 6½ instead of a 6. I felt little support and discomfort in the middle of my foot (this has never been an issue) I am so disappointed, I was so excited to go for a run today in my new kicks! I love the look but that is not why we spend so much on running shoes!

I have worn several generations of Asics Gel-Nimbus and have never been disappointed until now. The "new" improvements to the shoe are horrible. There is a problem with the type of lace that does not enable the shoe to grasp your foot, so it feels like you are sliding all the time. The tongue of the shoe slips no matter how tight/loose you wear them. I bought these in June and have been trying to wear them for rehab for a twisted knee. Noticed how bad the slide of the foot within the shoe was, so I stopped wearing them and within 2 days, knee was improving quickly. Never had this problem with previous generations.

I have always worn Asics for the arch support they offer and the comfortable fit. These are the first pair I have ordered that have seemed mis-sized. They were much smaller than I expected both in width and length

I loved the Gel Nimbus 12 and 13. They were perfect for my narrow foot and under pronation. I needed a replacement for my worn out 13's and these were on sale. They are a huge departure from my beloved 13's. They are narrow in the toe and seem short. I send them back and am optimistic about the new 15's that I just ordered.

The GEL-Nimbus 12 was the best running shoe I've ever run in. Once those gave out, I bought the 14. Unfortunately, they are not at all the same shoe. I've had knee pain, shin splints, and hip pain radiating down my legs since running in them. I feel as if I've been in car wreck. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. I will have to return these.

I work 12 hour shifts. These shoes were not supportive at all. My feet hurt with in hours of being on duty. My arches were burning. And my heels ached at the end of the shift. It was to the point that I took them off when I got to my car and drove home n my stocking feet. Poor support for what I thought would be awesome shoes for the price. I took them back.
