I have had these two years now. I agree that they are still absolutely gorgeous BUT the buckles will NOT stay snapped, no matter how gently I walk, and it is a great deterrent to actually being able to wear them when you are constantly needing to stop and snap one of the 6 snaps every 5 minutes. Also, no matter what I have done the heel rubs and I get horrible blisters so if I choose to look adorable I pay a price and can only wear flip flops for the next 7 days as the consequence heels. Not what you would expect for the price, unfortunately. So sad. So so sad. Because I feel like it was a foolish purchase and I sure wanted to be something I didn't regret.

This came up as a wide calf...it is not. 2 buckles at back of heel, almost impossible to do yourself, another at top of boot. Beautiful leather, terrible styling.

I love everything about how these boots look. Even better in person than online. The leather is of amazing quality and smells wonderful. Love the look of the straps and zipper. The dark brown stone antique is to die for. However, I wore them for about 3 hours today, and have a couple of quarter size blisters on my heels from the zipper rubbing against the back of my foot. These are masochistic and torturous shoes. I couldn't imagine "breaking them in" because of the amount of pain I would endure. No matter how much I like the way they look, I am returning them for the Veronica Slouch (no zipper).
