Great shoes! Have owned several pair of Kinvara's, Kinvara 2's and now a pair of the 3's. Seems like a bit more durable toe box area and Saucony did make the toe box larger. My only complaint for my Kinvara and Kinvara 2's was the narrow toe box and eventual ripping that would occur around my pinky toe. I wore these right out of the box for a half marathon and now have around two hundreds miles on them. The soles are holding up well and the shoes are very comfortable.

Great running shoe!
I can feel the breeze in my feet while running!
I'm flat footed and they are fine for me at 5 - 10 miles at 8-9 mins/mile pace.

I bought the Kinvara 3 for my daily runs and I am very glad that I did. I have the Black/Citron/Red and they look better in person than in the pictures. They are very cool looking shoes. They have a great fit, flexibility, cushioning, and stability. They are so lightweight that I barely feel them on my feet and I am less tired when my run is over. My toes have ample room to move around in the toe box where other shoes would give me blisters on occasion. The only thing that concerns me is the minimal rubber on the bottom of the shoes, but so far no problems in the three weeks that I have worn them. As always Zappos offered a great price and unbeatable service. These were my first minimalist shoes and I will definitely be buying another pair of these to use in my rotation.

Forefoot is a bit wider than the K2's, otherwise the same fit and comfort. The material on the top is more flexible, hopefully that will resolve the cracking issue. A very comfortable shoe, looking forward to the K3 trail as this one has minimal grip on the trails I run on here.

I was a big fan of the Kinvara 1, but the 2 just seemed a little too snug in the toe box area. So I was nervous that the 3 would be also be like this, but I was so happy to find that it's much improved. I still bought the same size as the 1 and the 2, but it just fits so much better. There's room for my toes to move but it's not sloppy at all. Big fan of the update!

I am an Asics Nimbus 12 user for my long and easy runs and NB MX20 for crossfit workouts. Wanted a faster pair for my fartleks. Kinvara 3 fits the bill (or the feet) perfectly. Light, huggy and lifting. I felt good after the speed-work. Looks like a million bucks too. I got blue/Citron. Would highly recommend this shoe for anyone wanting a lighter, streamlined pair...but serious runners will truly appreciate the work Saucony put into it.

I bought a pair of the Kinvara 2's and found the toe box constricting and that cost me just about all of my toe nails. But I loved how light they were and how they hugged the ankle. I bought the update because I read that the toe box was bigger. This shoe, aside from being garishly bright and flashy, is fantastic. I have found it more supportive with more cushioning in the forefoot area which had become sore from transitioning to a more minimalist running style. I have now set two personal bests (5K) wearing these shoes and I will definitely get another pair should these wear.

After having these shoes for two weeks the carbon rubber on the bottom came off. I had only run 10 miles in them on a track. I know Saucony makes good running shoes. It is quite possible that my particular pair was not well put together. But I also have a feeling that the sharp angles of these carbon rubbers may have been the culprit. So, I switched to Nike Lunar Montreal. They too have the carbon rubber but placed at a much less sharper angles. I will be posting an update on that later.

The shoes are very light weight and flexible. I prefer more of a minimalist running shoe and these fit that profile. They have very good traction on the road and track. The special cushioning in the heel prevents heel slippage. The top of the heel dug into the back of my ankle while wearing no show socks. I switched to ankle socks and have not had any problems. Overall I would recommend these shoes as a light weight breathable running shoe.

Marathon time = 3hr 34min. Shoes felt great the entire run. I could have run another 3 or 4 miles, no problem. The shoe sizes seem to run a little big, but if you are wearing them for distance running you may want them a little bigger.

35 miles in, pretty happy with the shoes. Lightweight, but good amount of cushioning. Pretty happy with the 4mm drop. These are my first pair of Saucony shoes; I am coming from a pair of Brooks PureConnect. The PureConnect seems to have less bouncy cushioning, and more ground feel. I might wind up using the Kinvaras more for recovery and easy runs than interval and tempo runs.

Great running shoe. This is my second pair of Kinvara. The first pair are still going strong after over 600 miles. Just thought that I would start to break in another pair. I hope to get at least 600 miles on these as well.

I love the shoe. It fits great and has already helped motivate me to keep running (I just started a month ago with an old, worn-out pair of Nikes that I was gifted). I ordered a 10.5D (medium width). Shoes arrived on time. Shoe was way too tight so I exchanged it for a half size up and the EE (wide) version. Fits pretty good, although I wish it was just a hair wider. They made the exchange when I called them and had the new size shoes shipped next day! Love Zappos. Will work with them again!

This is my favorite minimal road shoe. I use it on trail runs too, alternating with my Merrell Glove. The Kinvara 2 handled wear and tear well, I have expectations for the Kinvara 3 to do the same. If you prefer more cushion, then moving to the Brooks Cadence might be the right shoe for you. The Cadence has the same 4mm drop, but with a high degree of padding. Though I used a Cadence on my last marathon, it has no feel for the road. On the other side, the Merrell Glove is truly a barefoot feel. I use it a couple times a week to strengthen my feet. For me, the Merrell is too minimal for daily use. The Kinvara is my Goldilocks shoe.

So first let me say that I just started running and I only run about 3 to 4 miles 3 times per week. I used to run years ago. I love these shoes. They are unbelievably light. My kids - 12 and 13 think they look cool. They almost give the feel of running barefoot, which I actually enjoy. While running the shoes are supportive enough that I do not even think about them while I am running. Again, I would highly recommend these shoes especially if you are looking for something light weight.

First pair of Saucony and first 'minimalist' I've tried. I've been using Asics Kahana's with no issues just wanted to try something different. Fit was similar to Asics of same size, size 15. Out of box walk for 4.5 miles and very comfortable and just a different feel than the Asics. Easy on my knees, hips and back. On steep up and down hills foot stayed in place. Very breathable. Happy with initial experience.

Simply put, probably the best pair of running shoes I have ever owned. Fully recommended! And of course the entire Zappos process was completed with white glove service!

This is my first pair of "minimalist" sneakers - though these don't look like minimalist sneakers. I'm very happy with them. I wear them to the gym 5 times per week. I have worn them for a 5K and enjoy they way they feel and the support they provide. Took about 1 month to get used to them (ankle and calf needed to stretch!).

After buying a pair of these at my local running store, I soon saw that they were on sale. So I bought an extra pair from Zappos. I'm a runner who runs a moderate amount (10-15 miles/week) and is slowly building up his mileage. The Kinvaras are very comfortable and very light.

I'm not a huge runner, but these shoes are incredibly comfortable. They are very light and flexible. To boot, for running shoes, they look cool...so if you're rocking a ninja tech style, these are as cool as Nike Frees.

Kinvara has become the only shoe I run in. The 3's I particularly like because of the roomy toebox yet snug (for me) heel fit. Lightweight, but feel naturally cushioned on long runs. I recently ran a marathon in them, and they felt great the whole way. As for longevity, I think you have to expect that they might not last as long as some other, beefier models, but I currently have 2 Kinvara 3's which I interchange. One has almost 400 miles of street / light trail running, the other 370. When the first Kinvaras came out, I thought that Saucony had hit a home run. That opinion has not changed. I usually run from 30-50 miles per week.

I have a lower back problem and every time I went for run I would have to ice afterwards. I have tried other big brands and nothing works. With these shoes I don’t have pain after my runs. I have already increased my running from three times a week to everyday.

Just got these bad boys today and went to do hill repeats on the streets of downtown Akron. Fit snug and hugged the ankle beautifully. Light weight, minimal profile, and great cushioning as my feet hit the pavement. I am a bounder so powering through runs can be extremely taxing and exhausting on my legs. This pair kept me fresh the whole way. Cant wait to hit the streets tomorrow!
