Worked great for my son for track. Fit well, looked like his peer's shoes. Not as girly as the neon stuff. Kept his stride in line, and no discomfort to joints restarting the season after a winter couped up inside. Great product.

Awesome running shoes for the "minimalist" style runner. They are very light, comfortable and durable. This is my 2nd pair and both have been true to fit.

Just got my 2nd pair in a year. My current pair has been used for 10-15mi of running/week. There's still plenty of tread and no major signs of wear except some wear at the ankle. Over the year, I've worn the shoe in all sorts of conditions. The shoe is highly 'breathable' and dries quickly after running in rainy weather. Highly recommend!

Got these for my son, 16 yrs old, he says this is
"his brand" now, fit is perfect, they have a nice rainbow holographic effect on the gray stripes. They last most of the year with continuous wear.

Great shoe. I like the ankle support. Its like having the Nike Run Free upper with a much better supported lower. I would by another pair for back up.

Honestly, I really do like these shoes for running, and running only. I wanted to like them more for my MMA class, but as a supinator, I felt my feet "rolling out" a bit even with the 2E with during lateral moves. Overall, the color is eye-catching; the weight is amazingly light, and the cushioning is amazing.

Nice improvement fro the Kinvara 2. Different (straighter) but still well tailored fit around the heel and arch. I don't know if the toe area is bigger but because the cut is less extreme it feels like it. The ride is more open. Less flare on the outside of the toe area. This allows your feet to land more naturally rather than having to conform to the flare of the sole as compared to the Kinvara 2. I feel the mid foot strike is a lot more natural and that I can run how I want to rather than being 'guided'. Be sure to take your time with lacing up your shoes to allow good arch support and lace to the top lace for better heel support. I bought this pair exclusively for track workouts. The soles of the Kinvara 2 seemed to wear out quite quickly. I hope these will wear less quickly but since this pair is specific it won't be much of an issue. Look great (blue and silver).

I got these for my run home, I try to do 3-4 7 mile runs a week. These shoes are for shorter runs like 5k's. By the end of my run my feet were numb and my knees were killing me. I wear these for my gym sessions or running errands now.

Love these shoes! The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and they are very light. One thing to note: I ran Boston in these shoes and my feet really hurt by the end of the race. I believe this was due to the extra pounding during the long downhill portions of the course. I had run a 20 miler training run on flat terrain in them before Boston with no problem. In summary, a comfortable, fast shoe, but not a lot of cushion. I highly recommend them but maybe not for a marathon distance.

This is the first true running shoe that I've purchased in years, probably because it's been years since I've made a concentrated effort to run more. I've worked my way up to 20 miles per week with a recent best of a 10k, and these shoes have held up marvelously. They're extremely comfortable and provide just enough cushion to my stride without feeling like I'm running on gelatin. Like, I can still feel the terrain beneath my feet. I don't know if I'd subject them to trail running, but for the roads that I run on, I couldn't have asked for more. And, they're stylish as hell, so that's a bonus. Great shoe at a great price!

Great, light running shoe! This is the 3rd or 4th pair of Saucony Kinvara shoes that I have purchased. I am an avid runner, routinely training for 1/2 marathons, needless to say I put A LOT of miles on my shoes. These are extremely light weight, comfortable, and affordable. I've tried Asics and Brooks, which are also good, but keep coming back to the Kinvaras. Love them!

I have two pairs of these, both pairs with about 200 miles on them at this point. I liked the Kinvara 2's but I feel these are a genuine upgrade. More comfort out of the box and at about half their running life, still very comfortable and supportive. Also feels like there's more room in the toe box than the 2's which seems to reduce the overall wear and tear. Great all purpose shoe, I wear them for speed workouts, racing and long runs. Can't go wrong for the price and quality, I'll definitely be in for another pair shortly.

I recently purchased the Kinvara 3 after poor results with higher priced shoes, such as Brooks,Nike, and Asics for running 4 miles per day. I am age 74, run 2 miles early morning and evening. I have finally found a shoe that not only gives me the support I need but is cushioned perfectly in the places needed to be. Lightweight and my feet feel great after my runs. No break in needed. Not a better shoe at this price and the look is great.

Been running in the Kinvara 3 for 6 months, and they are now my go-to shoe. I've run for years in just about all of Asics' "structured" shoes, but I moved to the Saucony Mirage a year go. Unfortunately, the Mirage was redesigned from what I ran in (I really liked this shoe) so I went looking for something else. The Kinvaras are much lighter while still giving great support on longer runs. I often forget I even have them on. I've been impressed with their durability - Chicago winters aren't kind to running shoes.

Had been running in the ProGrid Guide 5, which was good, but needed a second pair. This shoe seemed to get good reviews, so I went with it. Same size as the Guide, but feels totally different. This shoe in my size felt smaller all over (which I noticed especially in the toebox, as the Guide is generous there) and seemed quite stripped down by comparison. Did not feel good whilst standing around, like the Guide does, so I had my doubts, but I do like this shoe. Despite there being not much shoe here, it does work well for me. I don't have a wealth of experience with all the brands and all the models, but this shoe for me amounts to a step toward a minimal shoe.

After running my fist marathon in traditional shoes I found that I had aggravated a bulging disk. Finally, when I could start running again, I slowly transitioned to a mid-foot strike with the Kinvaras hoping to put less stress on my back. I have never regretted doing so. I have completed several half marathons with no problems. Switching to a minimalist shoe may not be for everyone, but I would recommend the Kinvara for those interested. Doing a little research on proper running form makes transition easier.

A very light neutral trainer and racer. I've worn Kinvaras since the first iteration, and they just keep getting better. The Kinvara 3 seems even more durable than the 1 and 2, which tended to give out eventually, tearing away slightly where the sole and upper meet (as you'd expect). With the 3's, there's been no tearing at all despite being even lighter than the 2's.
The heel-toe drop is something to be mindful of--if you're coming off of a 'standard' shoe (which have between 12-15mm of heel to toe drop) your calves will be surprised and pained by the 4mm heel-toe drop of the Kinvaras. So the key would be to break into them slowly.
Once you do, you'll probably never want to go back to a heavy shoe again.

Packaging was excellent, shoes arrived in brand new perfect condition. The shoes fit a wider foot perfectly (without being too wide) and they are super lightweight like traditional Kinvara 3s. Kinvara 3s are perfect for runners that want a minimalist shoe.

They fit great and arrived a day earlier than expected. With size 15 wide feet finding shoes is near impossible. Zappos makes it easy.

These are my favorite road running shoes. I run about 30-50 miles per week in these and own 2 pair. The heel to toe drop is perfect, not minimalist but close and still very padded.

I have had the Kinvara 1, 2, and now on my second pair of the 3s which by far are the best. Toe box is a little more roomy in the 3s. Best lightweight cushioned shoe.

Fantastic for people with normal arches who don't need any extra arch support, as it will create unnecessary pressure points. These shoes perfectly do the job - they let you run!

Love the Kinvara 3! I had multiple Kinvara 2's and the 3's exceeded my expectations. I broke them in with an easy 4 mile run and they were light, airy, and comfortable.

I've only run 20 miles in these shoes, but they are great. The shoe is very light and well ventilated. The EVA has not worn much (I'm 160 lbs) and the rubber supports are just in the right place. It's a bit stiff in the first couple of miles, but then softens up.
