I bought this backpack because I have to carry my laptop back and forth to work on the train and it has been great! Exactly what I needed.

My parents got it for me because of all the church trips I'm taking this summer. And I will be a junior in HS so I'm hoping it will last until college

I absolutely love this back pack! It can be full of stuff and still feel light on my back. It's the MOST comfortable back pack I've ever owned and it's very durable. No straps or zippers break like other back pack brands.

This bag is the first product I bought from the north face. I like it very much. The surface is waterproof, zippers are protected by special design. It looks so professional. One concern I have is whether the color will fade as time goes by. In one word, I like it very much.

Best backpack I've ever bought! Definitely worth the money. I purchased the blue and rocket red one. The red is more of a orange which I like! Great buy I would recommend for anyone!

Good backpack, it is comfortable. Though it does not have a lot of room at all,

The Borealis will always be my go-to backpack! Looks great and feels great- it has taken me through the field, to class, and to work. The current version has less padding on the straps, which is too bad, but the rest of the backpack is its normal awesome self.

Backpack nicer then I expected, lots of pockets and dividers, tons of padding in my back for support, and contoured straps. I brought the bag for a carry on when I travel could not be more perfect! Zappos service was also yet again beyond belief! Free next day delivery and let's big forget the appropriate email updates. Zappos is the best!

At first I was concerned about the number of pockets, but there are enough pockets and slots for all I need. I'm happy with this purchase and I hope it lasts as long as my old backpack.

This backpack is definitely towards the top of the list when it comes to backpacks I'be gotten in the past. It's very durable, is easy to adjust for size and fit. Though it's not ginormous, it's the perfect size for school. It's small and lightweight enough to carry around all day, and it's big enough to carry the books and folders I need for class.

I was excited to try this backpack out. I've had it eight months and am now searching for a new backpack. There are quite a few things that have irritated me to retire this one early. For one, you cannot wash it, and folding it to fit in the washing machine isn't an option unless you want to permanently damage the stiff backing. It's also not as roomy as you would think, as the bungee on the front tends to constrict the backpack from expanding outward when using the larger front pocket. The backpack also does not stand on its own. I lean it against anything and it either slides down and lays on the backside or falls over on the front side. Additionally, a couple of weeks ago the drink pouch began to fall apart. I would not buy this product again.

I bought this to use for just a college, but considering this is a North Face product I decided to try it out on a few hikes. Well....I can't possibly rave enough about this backpack. I went out to the Colorado Desert and this backpack was the perfect size, and wt. I now reside in SF and take this out on daily hikes with the pup.

I bought this backpack before I started my first year of college because I liked the designs and color options. I love all the space that it provides for books and my computer and the way that it looked. The downside was when I started carrying it. After the first week of school, I realized that the backpack was rubbing in a certain way on the back of my shirts that caused pilling. I now was so conscious of this problem that I couldn't carry the backpack and wear a nice shirt anymore. It might have been the way I carried it and it might have been the backpack, I don't know. Bottom line is that I'm really disappointed it didn't work for me and I will probably be looking for another backpack.

Well, this adorable denim blue backpack just arrived and I loaded it up and put it on and it's fine. I'm a chesty girl and I wear very supportive undergarments, but the sternum strap on this bag made me look like the girls were down around my waistline! Easily solved: I just won't buckle the sternum strap. The bag's spacious and has plenty of organization. Really all I wanted was a main compartment big enough to hold my Fujifilm X-T1 in its padded pouch, and room for a clutch with handbag items in there as well. The other organizational stuff didn't really matter to me. I know the water bottle pockets will get used. So it's a keeper. I'm still waiting for someone to make a day pack that looks more handbag and less hiker, but this color combo goes a long way towards fixing that.

I was looking for a travel backpack and found this to be too heavy and bulky. I thought I would love the two tone color scheme, but the front straps are red-orange and just look silly when buckled. For school this pack would be great, but it just didn't fit my need and will be returned.

When I left for college, I asked my parents to buy me this backpack as a going away gift since I read so many great reviews about it. Although it is in the pricier side, it was definitely worth it! Two years and a lot books later, I am now in need of a new one. Probably going to use this backpack for the rest of my schooling career.

Very disappointed in this backpack. Does not protect your books from rain. Now having to pay for water damaged books that were inside my zipped backpack. Never had this problem with JanSport. Expected more from North Face!

My books were damaged from a light rain shower because this backpack is not water resistant as it claims to be. Not recommended.
