When I first saw this backpack online, I thought it was super cute, especially the color. I asked my parents to get it for me as a birthday present, and they did. I was really excited when I got it because the Borealis backpack is the bag that everyone at school uses. I took it to school the next day, and I don't understand how people use this for school, because it barely fits anything! I couldn't bring home everything that I wanted to, and I'm only in 8th grade. Imagine how much worse it would be for high schoolers! This product is a huge disappointment. The North Face products are usually very good, but this one needs to be improved drastically (especially for the expensive price). I will be returning this backpack tomorrow.

I was very happy with my purchase, it was exactly what I was looking for. Spacious and trendy. However the built in laptop cuddler makes he main compartment a big smaller, but it works great for me.

Was exactly what I was expecting for, nice colors, good size, resistant material, and something I would get again for my kids.

I am very impressed with backpack! I fell in love with the backpack of the color (graphite grey with beach glass green). The backpack distributes the weight of all my heavy textbooks and computer. My shoulders do not hurt when I wear this backpack, which was a major reason why I bought this one. The pockets are beautiful and if you are an organized person like me, its like heaven in a backpack! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who asks!

I have been eyeing this backpack for a couple years and I am happy I finally purchased it! There is enough room for my text books, laptop, and work equipment and it is also great for outdoor use on the weekends. My daughter has even asked for one for scho next fall.

I am very pleased with my backpack. I was looking for something that could be used on business trips - so professional yet functional - and this bag is it! I also wanted something that was fitted for a woman which this is. I am very pleased.

There needs to be more colors!!!Like blue and purple, pink and black, and all other cool colors!

Good quality backpack. Wish it was a little bigger so it could hold more like my Nike. If I put everything I need in it, it usually falls forward. A 3rd pocket would be nice, I mean for the money it should've came with it in the first place! But overall, I get many compliments and it is sturdy.

I was in need of a new backpack after my Eddie Bauer backpack was starting to break after 5 years. I am a college student, and needed a backpack that could hold my laptop, and numerous notebooks and folders. This backpack does everything I need it to do and more. I love it even more than my old Eddie Bauer backpack, and it is definitely worth the price. I also find that it distributes the weight of the contents very well, and it doesn't feel like I'm carrying 30 pounds worth of books. I've also never had a backpack that had functioning water bottle holders, and am amazed by the holders on this backpack. My water bottle is always secured and I don't have to worry about it falling out.

I love my new backpack but there isn't much mobility. It is perfect for hiking, but not so much for college.

The woman's borealis backpack has been a great investment. It was affordable, very useful and pretty. Has many pockets of different sizes and protects my laptop. It's basically waterproof and if put on correctly will not hurt your back. A bonus is the two pockets for bottled drinks and the whistle placed in one of the straps.

I was hoping this backpack would be more grey than black and that the rocket red would be more pink but when it came, it was exactlly as you see it. The dark grey looks pretty much black and the rocket red is like a hot red/pink. On the upside, I have gotten LOTS of compliments on it!

Great backpack! A little snug when trying to fit in everything for University (laptop, 3 notebooks, lunch, various school supplies) but managed to make it fit every time! Unfortunately my dog broke the zipper so don't know how much more I can use it but other than that I would recommend it to everyone. Super comfy and you don't feel like you're wearing a backpack even if you're carrying 10+ pounds of stuff

Can't say much as it is for my college daughter. Seems heavy duty but not overly large. Nice color. This is her 2nd North Face backpack, and the first one is still going strong after 5 years. (She simply wanted pink instead of black). She is 5'7" and smaller frame. Not too big looking on her and not too bulky to carry. Color is true as shown on my computer. Nice Pink, but not syrupy or neon! She loves it! Sorry, that's all I have.

Backpack was as advertised. My daughter loves the color. Roomy enough to carry all her books for class (she has a lot of them). Seems well constructed

I got this backpack a couple weeks ago and I love it!! The back is padded and the straps are very sturdy and the pocket in the front is the perfect place for my phone.

Great backpack. I needed something that was easy on my back and this one has done its job. It doesn't even feel like I have a backpack on even though I have about 10 pounds of stuff in it. Love it!Not only that I needed one that my computer would fit in. I have noticed a big difference in the backpack compared to my Vera bradly. North face you have out done yourself. I will never buy another name brand again.

I bought this bag for college and was very disappointed to find out it wouldn't fit all my school supplies. I have 3 binders, a folder, a notebook, a planner, 2 books, an iPad, and pens, pencils and highlighters. I could fit 3 binders, 1 book, pens, pencils, and highlighters and it was VERY snug. I had to squeeze everything in and the bump at the bottom of the tablet sleeve was very inconvenient and made it more difficult to put things in. I love the colors and quality of this backpack but will probably be returning. However, if you don't need that much, I would definitely recommend this backpack.

I got this backpack for an upcoming trip to CO where we plan to do some light hiking and sightseeing. It's the perfect size. Not too big or bulky but holds a lot. Love the bright colors. Very sturdy. Would also make a great backpack for high school aged child.

I purchased this item because I currently owned a designer side bag. I needed something with more room. My new North Face bag is amazing. It makes the most out of the space it provides even though it is not extremely large. I love it!
