Buying Levi's these days is a bit hit or miss. The fabric and styling are great, and the waist size is generally fine. It's the inseam that's the problem. Sometimes it's on target, sometimes not (typically an inch or more too long). Glad that Zappos has free returns.

Length was good waist size was good but the cut was odd and causes the jeans to climb up my butt. Not comfortable! I later bought a pair of 501's in the same size and the fit on them was perfect. I will not likely purchase 505's again.

I don't like the baggy quality of this material. They fit well, but they look baggy.

I like the color and fabric but they seem to ride a little low for me.

Fit was fine but my husband didn't like the heavier denim. He's become accustomed to the lighter weigh stretch denim in his current 505's. Since he's retired and doesn't work outside anymore he doesn't want the heavier denim that he feels he has to "break" to be comfortable.

Had bought another pair of these jeans in another color, which fit perfect. This pair, however, ran an inch shorter. The inseam was 31, not 32, as labeled. Having to send back. Love the color though.

Too small in the waist. The blue denim in the 505 fit. These do not have stretch.

Like other reviews on the material, I have to say Levi's has gone somewhat downhill on quality. It feels of thinner weight than Levi's used to be. Fit was ok. Just enough room in seat and thighs to be comfortable on the triumph. Fit over boots was good too.

Previously I bought 502 33/34 and they fitted very well. Bought the same size for this ones, as they are also regular type, but strangely waist was small and length was very long. They are very stylish though.

These jeans are fine. Unfortunately the sizes are wildly inconsistent.

Back pockets cut way to low. As others have said...it seems to depend on the color for the type of jeans you get.

I bought jeans twice. Both times they were slightly defective. In the 501 model curve, the outer seam on the right leg (manufacturer Egypt), in the 505 model curve is the outer seam on the left leg (producer of Lesotho).

These were thin like women's jeans and tighter than usual.

I had to return the Cabana color. They were paper thin. I really like the color and the fit, but I just couldn't see myself wearing them. I'm afraid I'll do something at work and they will rip easily. I have a pair of them in the Range color, but they are not this thin (even though they don't make them like they used to). Even my wife said they were as thin as some women's jeans.

These new (so called) Levi's ain't what they used to be. They are comfortable. But they sure ain't durable. I've got a pair of Levi's I wore in high school 20 years ago, & they are more comfortable now than they ever were. All the stitching is still great & in tact, they're just a little more faded than they were 20 years ago!! Lol!! But that's fine with me! These new jeans are not no where near the quality I'm used too with Levi's. in 2016 I went through 11 pair of Levi's. I sent 5-7 of them back to the manufacturer because they didn't last more than 1 wash & 3 wearings...! What happened to our American spirit in taking Pride in what we do anymore... it's down right pitiful. Please come back home Levi's Jeans. Come back to your roots. I wouldn't mind at all to pay a little more to say "I have a 100% American made high quality pair of jeans on my behind, & dang proud of it"!!!! I pray that you will listen to us fellow American brothers & sisters & do what's right!
GOD bless you guys! & Thanks for listening!
With Love,
Brad

I was hoping to find something to slim the profile some, but the rise is too short, does not sit at the waist. The 560 has a much better rise and far more comfort.

Thinner than I expected and had a belt loop start to come off after a year and a half. Nice looking but not up to the build quality I expect from Levis

I ordered a pair of 29x32 505s for my son to confirm size and fit and then ordered three more pairs because he loved the first. The first pair was perfect -- deep pockets, correct length, soft worn in fabric, the other four were a mess. Each pair was a different length, they all had tiny pockets and a rigid fabric. Asked Zappos for an exchange (which they happily did) and was sent three more pairs. Again, all the pairs were different -- too short, too tight, rigid fabric -- and none of them matched the original pair or fit correctly like the original pair. Returned all but the first and hope to find something else. Highly inconsistent!

I purchase from you company quite frequently. This pair of pants might have been mislabeled. The waist is correct but they look shorter than my usual 32" inseam.

I've ordered many of these over the years. But recently, these have been changed for the worse. The waist is OK, but the seat & legs are thinner than they used to be. I'm not thick legged by any means, but these have tightened a bit. Also, the front pockets are much smaller. My cell phone has a harder time fitting in the pocket, especially when sitting. To make sure I wasn't just getting fat, I reviewed all my older pairs, and there is clearly a series of differences in how they were made. I am not impressed with the recent batches.

Usually pretty consistent with their products. But the last pair I received would twist inwards on my right leg. The right side seam would always face forward.

Felt tight and too long. Once stretched out should be good. Met expectations. Would buy again.

This is the third time I have purchased this style of Levis which indicates I have a reasonable commitment to their products. Nevertheless I suppose the issue I have with this purchase is not an unusual one. Even though I purchased these to pair of Levis ordering the same waist and inseam measurements as the previous two times (approximately one and three years ago) the legs are about one longer than I need. There might be some shrinkage when washed but it is rather aggravating since it is impossible to know what you are getting when submitting the order. More quality control on Levi's part or the addition of odd rather than only even inseam lengths would be helpful. Otherwise the the waist measurement is comfortable.

As much as I hate to be THAT GUY, it s a fact they really don t make these jeans the way they used to. There is almost no comparison between the LEVI s of my younger days and what you buy under the name today. They used to be quality jeans made very well, even made in America, now they are just barely passable and really on the borderline of becoming garbage jeans. Made In Lesotho -- well the labor there must be super cheap, because they came with sloppy threads sticking out in the leg stitching never seen that in Levi s before -- and they honestly feel like if somebody grabbed my leg and pulled, the jeans would just rip apart into pieces, in their bare hands. The denim is thin, and I could probably poke a fingernail or a pencil through them easily, if I tried hard enough. I ve only had them for two or three days and I can already tell they are not going to last very long. The 511 that I also wear, seem to be MUCH better quality. This may well be my last pair of 505 s ever, and I go back a long time as a pretty loyal customer. But I guess this is the way of the world, ever lower and lower price points required for big box stores, and cheaper and cheaper labor and shoddier materials until we end up with products that no one really wants but you sort of have to buy (got to wear something, after all). And YES I have read and heard that they still have Made in America Levis that run up, but I have NEVER once seen the USA ones available in my size, and I've definitely looked, I m just a very popular and average/ordinary size. Like I said, the 511 seem to be better quality. But the 505 s are really having some serious quality deficiencies and issues, compared to what they used to be.

Jeans fit well. However the material seems to attract every hair and piece of lint which on a black jean is not good. Hopefully this will get better with future washes.
