I bought these for my son. So far so good. They seem to be holding up to his abuse. These shoes are really popular in our area (at least 7 or 8 of his friends own the exact shoe). I was told that they fall apart quickly, but luckily that has not been proven to be true.

Just started breaking in my 2nd pair of these! They last for over a year w daily use, laces too! Had no problems. They get really filthy, I throw them in the wash. I like the fadey-white look. They are not super comfy but that is not what our people need in this day and age. The fabric is tougher than Chuck Taylors but still light and airy. Do it!

I love Vans - who doesn't! this is a real comfortable shoe and they look great with low rise socks in shorts, or complement well with jeans. The first week of wearing them I did a lot of walking and developed a blister in the back of my ankle. Now that they're broke in, no problem. The shoe is flat so don't get them if you have arch support needs.

I love these shoes. Classic and yet unique in their own way, they match with everything! Black suede with the tan gumsole is a nice combination and if you've ever owned Vans before, the fit and feel is the same. Not much arch support, so not hiking shoes, but I think that goes without saying.

Amazing shoe. Super comfy, and the canvas doesn't feel cheap like the "Authentics". What REALLY blew my mind is how fast the shoes got here. Zappos is hands down THEE BEST online site ever, in my opinion. I picked the free shipping option, and Zappos overnighted the shoes for FREE! Outstanding! I'll never order clothes from another site. Thank you Zappos for being amazing. Definitely going to recommend your site to everyone, and anyone.

My daughter was desperate for these shoes. Contacted Vans, who don't/won't ship to Guam. Suddenly remembered my favorite company Zappos. Not only did they send me the shoes in record time, but for free, and they cost less than had I bought them from Vans. Zappos is the #1 company in the USA, for customer service and everything else too!

I didn't like them at first, but they definitely grew on me. if you like slim fitting shoes though these are not for you. I got the black/black suede and they hold up great for skating. It's definitely worth your money.

These shoes are great. My twelve year old (boy) feels very cool in them. I had purchased another pair in what I though was his size but they were too large. I sent them back and got these. We chose this size by measuring his foot and looking on the Zappos web site as opposed to buying his running shoe size.

I purchased these shoes for a martial art known as PaQua - Six Harmony - Eight Method. They are fabulous. I use these for Taiqi, and other internal martial arts. Great support without the forward tilt of a traditional shoe. The soft cuff allows me to get in low stances without digging into my foot. I had a bone removed from my right foot and have found it very difficult to find a training shoe that is comfortable. Thank you. My husband wears Vans as well for training. We are a Vans family.

I really like these shoes, the only thing that kinda bothered me was that they were about half an inch smaller than the Authentics. They have more coushining than the authentics, but other than that its a good shoe.

Shoe is awesome I like the Vulcanized better than the Era because I have a wider foot than normal. They are very comfortable and I get compliments on the hemp and "island" color combo all the time. I gave it a 4 because the hemp has started to fade slightly but they are very comfortable and one of my favorite pair of Vans.
