Great walking shoes. Very comfortable with great stability support. They run half size small. Normally wear size 9 and the 9.5 fits perfectly.

I have a difficulties finding shoes, I have small foot size 5 with high arches and wide feet, if this sounds like you these are the right pair for you! My podiatrist had suggested I purchase shoes that are specific for my needs; high arch, wide geared towards stability As I am on my feet for work a lot. I showed him these which he found were ideal for me. I purchased these shoes on a Monday and received them on a Wednesday, I appreciate the super fast shipping! I had been looking at these exact shoes in a catalog which were a little pricier with not as many colors, Zappos has a larger selection of colors at a better deal. I had to call because of a technical error on my part and customer service was amazing, they quickly helped me and reassured me there would be no issues. Thank you Zappos, I will come back here for another pair as soon as I can. FYI: I use an arch plate.

After looking for a replacement for my worn out 993's, I chose these and am very pleased. Sizing is the same and they are comfortable, providing good support and stability. I like them for biking as my forefoot goes numb with other, less stable shoes. I am now a believer in New Balance, making a change from Brooks running shoes.

Just retired my first pair, loving my second pair and about to order a third pair before they are discontinued. I lost count of the number of shoes I have tried in an attempt to help with the pain of my plantar facsiitis. With my insert, these have been the best. THANK YOU Zappos for being so patient with me.

I finally found a New Balance shoe that did not have a tapered toe box. This is what I buy New Balance for!! Rejoice, all of us with narrow feet. Do add gel cushions, then good to go.

Very comfortable sneakers! Easily fits an orthotic. Wear them to the gym and for long walks! Love them so much that I am on my second pair!

I do a lot of walking on concrete in the city where I live. It's rough on aging knees! These shoes are the best defense...they are lightweight and comfy and offer just enough cushioning. Also, I love that New Balance manufactures a lot of their shoes in the USA!

This shoe is so comfortable! I needed an easy to wear option after a foot injury and these sneakers fit the bill. They were a little stiff at first but became comfortable after a couple of wearings. The style, unfortunately is not what I was hoping for but practicality won over fashion in this case.

I didn't buy this shoe at Zappos--I was in a small New Mexico town for a painting workshop and had forgotten my tennis shoes and needed something to wear standing outside for several days. This was, most likely, the only pair of women's size 11 tennis shoes in town, so I bought them for what I thought was an inflated price, but now that I checked online, the price was the same. And I read the negative reviews--I haven't worn any other version of this shoe in the past so I have nothing to compare it against, but I think it's a great shoe. My feet were the only part of me that wasn't exhausted at the end of each day. The price was a good investment. I'll be saving these for "painting workshop" shoes.

A real disappointment. I've worn NB for years, but these are poorly made. The toe box is very narrow and arch support non-existent.

New Balance is a great sneaker for power walking. I made a mistake and ordered these in wide width when medium/regular would have been fine. I wear them anyhow to run errands, etc. with a heavy sock.

This New Balance sneaker meets and exceeds expectations NB is one of the few manufacturers that makes wide sneakers for women. I bought a size 8 2E and it fits wonderfully. I love the black and white color, kinds of retro, and the everyday dirt does not show. I have had the sneakers for over a year and wore them as I walked all over Italy last year for three weeks, used in the gym, taking walks, and everyday use. Very comfortable.

These fit me perfectly and I hate to take them off under any circumstance. I have a wide foot and these don't pinch anywhere. With the insoles, I no longer have any foot pain at all. Wonderful, I love them.

I bought several pairs to try on for a breast cancer 5K that I was participating in. When I tried these on they not only fit my 10½ perfectly (they run true to size) but they also have a small pink breast cancer ribbon on them which matched my Team Caroline shirt that I wore!

I have had several pairs of this shoe over the past few years and have found them to be an excellent shoe. I do a lot of walking, use a treadmill and tread climber, so I need a good sturdy shoe, plus, they are made in the USA.

I have worn New Balance shoes for years. Recently sustained a Plantar Plate tear, Doc said wear this brand and reduce walking. Both insole and toe brace fit in the shoe if you get the EE. This has been so helpful. Now the initial tear has improved some, shoe continues to give great support/even without insole.

It is difficult for me to find shoes that fit. So when I do, I wear it! Even in one brand there can be widely differing sizes. This one fit me perfectly. Other New Balance sneakers do not. I don't know why this is.

My shoe fit perfectly. You can always count on new balance to be true to size. Ordering from Zappos is easy, free shipping both ways, what's not to like.

These are expensive, but worth it. They are comfortable and durable. I run, walk and everything in-between and my feet never hurt.

I was sorely disappointed when I went to buy a new pair of shoes for fitness walking (as opposed to my daily wear 928's) because the only color available in my size was gray. Granted it's not a cheesy gray but I wanted red or purple or multi-color -- something that would make me happy when I looked down. Alas it was not to be. The width of the fun colors only goes to D and, for this style, it was too tight for me. I was told that this is by design but I don't like it so here I am with the gray 2EE. But, let me tell you, it has made all the difference! They fit me like a glove and make my foot stable, which makes all the difference for my pseudo shin-splints and chronic foot issues. I just wish New Balance wasn't so stingy with the nice colors for larger footed women.

I love theses! Great support for lots of walking and I was able to have room for orthotics!
