I bought these shoes because of the extra wide width in a nice color other than the usual white or black. They are very well constructed and comfortable. This is the second pair I purchased.

Perfect fit. Delivered earlier than originally indicated. Box wasn't smashed. I love that you can return for free. Great web site. Easy to use.i have a size 5 shoe and I can't find shoes anywhere else.

Love these! I have horrible feet...both plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuromas on both. These especially seem to cup down away from the neuromas so that they are not constantly aggravated. I went through trying several pairs before finding these and ended up buying them in 3 colors because they feel so good.

I think that these are a little bit overpriced, but I am keeping them. It's hard to find comfortable shoes that fit my feet.

Love, love these shoes! This is my 3rd, or is it 4th pair? Very comfortable. If you can believe it. wearing them feels like you don't really have shoes on, can walk miles in these! Yes, they are expensive, but worth the money.

I have a very long, very slender foot. This shoe fit well. I bought a 10.5 N. It has been comfortable walking and in Cardio class.

I have purchased FOUR pairs of these in the last two years because I'm afraid they will stop making them! I love the style, the fit and the color. Difficult to find all gray sometimes. They are my favorites!

When I first put these sores in, they felt like they were missing the insole. Not all cozy or comfortable. However, I slipped in my inserts (I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis) and these shoes became my new best friends. They are heavier than your average athletic shoe but they have so much stability that I cannot recommend these enough to anyone with foot or ankle problems. Even after a relatively think insert, there is plenty of room in the shore. No riding or slipping or feeling like you have to squeeze your foot in after the insert eats up half the depth. As far as looks go, I like them a lot. I get away with wearing them in an office setting without people complaining (I bought the black/black pair). Overall, perfect shoe once you by an insert.

I loved the comfort of these shoes as soon as I put them on. I have extra wide feet and these shoes fit great. They look great, too.

Perfect shoe for exercising and the fact it is a narrow width is a great plus for the comfort and fit while exercising. All my other athletic shoes are Medium width and do not give my foot the support it needs. Love the comfortable fit.

Really glad this shoe returned by someone so I could order it. All last year I wore the 993 and loved it. I waited too long to order the 990 because of some of the reviews. I shouldn't have listened. In regular shoes I wear a 7.5. But due to sports orthotics I wear a 9 in this shoe. It fit like a glove. I call this shoe a work horse. It's not the most splashy but it gets the job done. Thank you, New Balance.

My foot doctor recommended this shoe for my plantar fasciitis and it helps. The toe area is wider, and the heel is more padded. AND the price was cheaper at Zappos than at my shoe store when it went on sale. A winner!

Love we shoes! This is the second pair I have purchased for my wide, high arch, difficult-to-fit feet! They are very comfortable, true to size.

So far so good! These New Balance are way out of the price range I usually go for, but this past year I encountered my first bout of plantar fasciitis- not fun!!! After doing some research online, these were recommended for that condition. I work on my feet all day at a busy grocery store so I took the plunge. I also use the orthaheel active insoles. The combo of both seems to working well. I have had other shoes before that I have tried to use with the insoles, the problem always ends up being that the toe bed is too small and rubs if an insole is in place. One nice thing about New Balance generally is that because they are a little bulkier, they usually have more room to accommodate an insole. If these continue to work well for me, I may be a convert!

Ordered these because of great reviews of 990s. I found ball of foot/toe box too narrow in B width. Sending them back and will wait for a wide.

There was a problem with the shoes I ordered. The first shoes I received were unacceptable. I call the customer service line and the problem was solved within minutes. I can not say enough good about Zappos and the way my issue was handled. 5 Stars for Zappos.

I have debated and shopped for a pair of badly needed new shoes. These fit, are stable for my severe over pronation. They are beautiful. I wore them for 13 hours the first day with no problems. Wow!

If the front of your foot is wide but the back of your foot is narrow, you may have trouble finding shoes that fit and don't hurt. I highly recommend New Balance sneakers. They are almost the only shoes I can wear! The outside of most sneakers curves inward and squeezes my little toe, causing corns to form between my toes. These give me enough room.

These are really comfortable and a good replacement for my worn out New Balance running shoes. The only thing that bums me out is that I didn't realize they had the Susan Komen breast cancer ribbon on them - I'm all for breast cancer research but I'm not a fan of Susan Komen foundation - I think there are better organizations and this is not one I would knowingly support. I honestly try to avoid "pink ribbon" stuff at all costs. Didn't notice it til after I had already worn them. I like the colors but would have chosen something else.

I took this shoe to my podiatrist to make sure it was going to be a good shoe for my arthritic feet. He highly recommended them as one of the very best. I have begun wearing them with a new orthotic and they feel great. They are very supportive. This pair gave me the toe room that I needed also. Thanks, Zappos, for letting me try a few pairs and finding the right pair for me. Zappos is awesome!

Really like this shoe, but unfortunately, I am returning it. The suede strip on the inner toe box doesn't work with my bunion. Toe box is nice and wide and deep. Too bad!
