After having foot surgery a number of years ago, the task of sneaker shopping is never a quick or easy one. I find that New Balance works well for me and in looking for a "winter" sneaker, decided to give this a try. I have to say, this is a comfortable sneaker with excellent support! Once again, New Balance did not disappoint! Again, I am basing this review on my needs since having foot surgery - it's a winner!!

These shoes are extremely comfortable if you walk for exercise. The extra wide width accommodates my bunions just fine too!

I've bought these before, I use a vionic orthotic insole. They are perfect for narrow feet. The last pair I had fell apart on me after 6 months. I'm hoping this pair does better. It's hard for someone with narrow feet to find orthotic sneakers. These work great. The drawback is they are expensive and you have to buy orthotic insoles which takes the total up another $35. How is anyone who lives on social security supposed to have shoes that don't hurt their back, feet and legs?

Giving it a try for my wife who has foot problems. So far she seems happy with the fit and comfort.

My absolute favorite athletic shoe. I can wear this every day. Even cute with jeans.

2nd pair I bought in this color. 4th pair in the last few years. this speaks for itself!

I was looking for a good comfortable , lightweight and supportive walking shoe. This shoe was okay, however, I ordered a few styles at the same time to compare. This 990v3 was far superior in cushioning and support. I have a very flexible but not very good arch , in my feet. I was able to detect all this in just trying them on, can't wait to take them for a walk!

Great wide sneaker for my son. This is the second pair of 990s that we've purchased. They hold up to a lot of wear and tear from a 12 year old boy.

Excellent! First Class! Perfect and comfortable right out of the box. These are really good looking! I have same shoe in other colors but his color combo is my favorite.

It is hard for me to find shoes that fit well. I got a pair of these last year and liked them, so I got another pair to have just in case they change the style and become unavailable. Hopeful they will have them for awhile longer. They are nice and neutral, no crazy color combinations and they go with most everything.

I have very skinny, bony, hard to fit feet and finally found something I can wear! Not 100% perfect but, with my fee, nothing ever is and this is the best I have found.
