I purchased these for my son knowing that he would appreciate the comfort. He is not a runner but spends a lot of time on his feet and has had issues with shin splints. He really likes the Nike Free. His legs are less tired and no shin splints. These shoes are like a great pair of slippers WITH support!

I have flat feet, and when I run a lot of the times have gotten cramps in my foot. So I did some research on what was the best shoe to use. Some said with much arch, some said using a shoe that allows your foot to feel natural. I personally am a big believer in the human body, and like products that compliment rather than obstruct, so I decided to try the nike free run. An amazing shoe. It fits great, and just has a good balance between just enough support to dilute impact from the ground and support, with letting your foot feel natural. Also feels as though is propelling you forward, in contrast to a training shoe, which has lateral support. Highly recommend it. Only down side I've found so far, (I run in the mornings when there is due out), is that the material is breathable so running in anything aside from hard road probably is going to leave you with wet feet. Aside from that, its great.

They are so comfortable. It's the third pair I've bought. No complaints on anything.

Honestly the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! It feels great to run in and after you break them in, they'll actually inspire you to continue running. I would definitely recommend them! Bonus, they also look good.

Awesome shoe. Very comfy. Buy your regular size. I read that u need to by a size up because they run small. Well they don't. My heel would slip out, so I sent back my size 11 and got my regular 10.5. Perfect fit.

I've had a few pairs of non-Nike running shoes because real runners have insisted that other brands are better. For me, these shoes fit like a glove and they're the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. I use them with the sensor and with the Nike+ GPS watch. It's definitely more accurate with the GPS watch but the sensor does an okay job with a nice steady pace (I've found that wild variations in pace/stride adversely affect the accuracy).

I initially purchased these for the purpose of casual use as I am a heavier runner and have always bought high end New Balance, Asics, or Mizuno's, which offered substantial cushion and support. I decided to wear these for my 45 minute cardio workout consisting of an elliptical machine and tread mill and WOW; I can't believe how well these stack up to a much heavier and expensive shoe. In addition to the great support what I really appreciate is just how light weight they are. I'm glad I took a chance on these and expect that this won't be my last pair of Nike Frees.

I rarely get so excited about a pair of sneakers that I feel compelled to write a review. These Nike free runs are spectacular. Wearing a pair will give you a footgasm. They're great for both running and casual wear. Yes, they will force you to use a mid foot strike while running if you're a heel pounder and it'll take a few runs to get used to them but after you do, you won't go back to heel pounding. My only gripe is the white sole, I was forced to use NikeID to build my perfect pair. How bout a ZapposID? Oh, they run a little small, thank you Zappos for your awesome return policy!

This shoe is amazing. I was always a Mizuno girl, and I wanted to move to a minimalist shoe. The reviews are right: this shoe runs small. I'm a true 10 (in my Mizuno running shoes, too), and I needed a 10.5 in these. I am really pleased with them overall. I need a wide toe box but a narrow heel, and they fit perfectly. I took them out today for a 6.5 mile run, and I have no knee pain and my feet do not hurt at all! I don't need stability shoes, and my arches are normal -- just to give you an idea. My former Mizunos had really been killing my knees and feet lately. I highly recommend this shoe, and I cannot say how happy I am with them! I got them in the Chrome Yellow, and they are so stylish. While I was running, an elderly woman yelled out from her porch as I passed her house, "I like your shoes!" They're definitely attention-getters!

Finally, Nike makes a good looking shoe and it fits like a glove. I bought a pair to wear at work, and I now have 4 pair of them. It's been a long time since I bought Nike, but if they keep working on this style, they will have me as a customer. People keep commenting on how much they like the look.

I had the Free Run +2s and loved them, for the most part, but these are better. The 2s were a pain to put on. With the 3s, you get all the benefits of the 2s and less hassle. They still fit like a glove, and I feel like I can run for hours in them. It's like wearing slippers, but cooler looking. I wouldn't necessarily run a half marathon in them, but they're great for shorter distances and incredibly comfortable for everyday use. Highly recommended.

We haven't had these long so I really can't comment on the durability, but my son is very happy with the shoe in terms of looks and comfort. Very lightweight and comfortable. True to size but if you are between two sizes order the larger size. My son either wears a 10.5 or an 11 and thought the 11 was perfect.

I ordered them half a size bigger then usual but I had to return them for a full size bigger then I regularly wear. I did not fall in love with them until they loosened up a bit around my midfoot area. But now it truly does feel as if I am not wearing shoes on at all. I have not run in them yet but as everyday walking shoes they are great.

These shoes are fantastic! I have wide, flat feet and usually need to wear in-soles for extra support. I dread having to run or be on my feet all day and I was nervous that these shoes did not have enough arch support but I ordered them anyway. I am so glad that I did. It feels like I am walking on a cloud with these shoes. In fact, it feels like I am only wearing socks they are so light and form-fitting. You could wear these shoes without socks because there is plenty of ventilation and they adapt to your foot's shape. The shoes distribute weight evenly, and I do not feel pressure on my arches. I love running now that I have these; it masks all the physical problems I have with my feet and is perfect for the gym! As previous reviewers suggest, definitely order larger than your normal size, as these are tight and form fitting. I wear size 11 with all other shoes, including other Nike shoes, and 11½ was a very snug fit. I could probably even fit into a 12 and these shoes would still be snug. Other than that, I have no real complaints. They are just amazing shoes!

I've had a pair of every generation of Nike Free's, with the first Nike Free Run being my favorite. I bought the Nike Free Run 2's last year and loved them, just a perfect shoe to run in and work out in. I'm a highly active college student so I'm always on the go. I just got the Run 3's the other day and they are probably more comfortable than any of the Nike Free's. Plus they look more shoe like, which I think is great. I highly recommend purchasing these to run and workout in. Once you have your first run in these you'll come back and thank me for directing you to getting them. Plus I'm all about the obnoxious color schemes, nothing is better than looking like a show off while running! Get these shoes!

Extremely light and airy, the Free Run+ 3 are really comfortable walking shoes and are very fashionable as well. Because the whole shoe is made of mesh, airflow is excellent keeping your feet really dry. I cannot vouch for how well they run as I am not a runner.

Great shoe! I 'upgraded' to these after a pair of New Balance fell apart. Zappos was great to exchange them after 3 months of use. I have been running for a few months now and I really like the idea of barefoot running. This shoe was highly recommended by running friends as a good transition shoe. It is tough to run in at first as you have to work on your form, but now I love it!

I bought these in a men's size just because I liked the colors of them, but as it turns out they are a great running shoe. They're very light so you almost feel barefoot; however, the stability is excellent. I'm very picky about my Nikes and these turned out much better than I anticipated.

Sizes run a bit small. I purchased 9.5 after having other similar Nike models, but normally an 8.5/9.0. The shoe itself... Well, simply awesome. This Nike model supports your feet, cushions your step and weighs next to nothing. I'm in love and more colors being ordered soon! As for Zappos, the normal perfect service and great tracking/communication along the way.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. Zappos' return policy is true, reliable, and fast. I ordered both 10½ and 11 in these shoes. The sizing runs slightly to the small side, so I sent back the 10½ and received my full refund very quickly.

This was my first experience with the Nike Free series shoes, but I definitely enjoyed it. I wore these shoes quite heavily for simple daily use in addition to running and daily workouts. The color combos of the shoes were radical! They took no breaking in. The only thing I needed getting used to was the high arch of the shoe and it was a bit narrower than my other running shoes. Durability wise, you can't complain. It had typical breakdown patterns but still remained comfortable through use. If you're a distance runner or really like to put the miles on, look into different training shoes... Otherwise, I love, loved and am still loving these shoes.
