I bought these for my husband and he says they are very comfortable and feel like you aren't even wearing shoes. He uses them for everyday stuff and working out. Our only complaint is that the paint/color on the toe has completely come off. after only a few wears. This maybe due to the fact that my husband occasionally drags his feet, but I was shocked how quickly it happened.

I purchased these for my son who wears a 15EE. Sadly, we have to return them as they are too small, and not wide enough, despite my recommendation he try these. I have the Free 7.0 in ladies' 10 that fit my wide foot perfectly. Nike is missing an entire subset of customers by not manufacturing a wide shoe. Very disappointed in the shoe...but not Zappos!

Blue edging has scuffed to reveal white underneath - bad design a pity as otherwise holding up well and really comfortable. Have pink/purple pair that don't do this - there seems to be a pinkish plastic underneath.

Love the look of this shoe initially but after two days, black coating on toe scuffed off. The black is just a coating over white. Now these 2 day old shoes look a year old. Very disappointed with Nike's design. Seems cheap but comfort is great so my son wants to keep.

Nike ruined their best running shoe. I have owned Nike Free Runs since they first came out, and loved them all. Until now. These shoes, while light and flexible, and nowhere as comfortable as the older styles. The addition of the tongue has made the difference.

I don't really like them. I use them for long walks mostly. Just not that much of a fan. I liked my Nike Shox much better. I may retire these sooner rather than later.

It was a great shoe to begin with; it is just that it felt really bad to play any sports inside of the shoe. Other than that it's a terrific shoe; just needs a bit more padding.

Hmmmm, I'm kind of surprised. I've never worn sneakers/gym shoes/running shoes above size 12. I've worn size 11 1/2 and 12 successfully, yet on these shoes, after reading other reviews about the shoe running 1/2 size too small - I went to 12. Then I went to 12 1/2 and it is still a bit snug. The arch support seems to be between moderate and excellent. I've now ordered a size 13. Oh well, such is life in the land of flat feet - that might be my personal snag. Colors are great - I ordered the gym red/sail in the Nike Free Run+ 3 and will be getting for Xmas the Nike Flex 2012 Run in Soar/Deep Royal Blue/White. Early next year, I might acquire another good, rich color. While guys might not be able to get away with wearing rich color dress shoes, at least we have these.

Overall I cant recommend these shoes, although, they are really comfortable. I got them to alleviate some foot pain I was having, and they sort-of worked, but when I wore them into my podiatrist's office, the first thing she told me to do is get rid of them. The problem is that the soles are really flexible and they don't provide good support. End result - a brand new pair of Nikes in the back of my closet. My doctor recommended looking at Brooks.

Although they are lightweight, these sneakers or running shoes feel more like slippers and no support or rigidity whatsoever. Can't say I'm thrilled.

I have never purchased a Nike shoe before but thought I would take the plunge with this highly rated shoe. I am not an expert runner but found this shoe highly lacking! I literally hurt after the first run/walk. There was little-no arch support and my heels felt like they were going to slide off the back of the shoe. Also, when I initially ordered the shoe the other reviews said the shoe ran small so to order 1/2 to 1 size larger than you really are. I did not find this to be the case and ended up having to ship my order back and order my actual size. I am bummed because the shoe looked great and I loved the integration with the Nike+ technology and the shoe looks awesome!

I'm guessing that it was due to the spot for the Nike+ thing, but I found this shoe very uncomfortable in that area. Returned.

The right shoe felt great. Too bad the left one has this little plastic square inserted right in the middle. This could be felt in normal walking and running. I had not seen any reviews mention this; so I went to a local store to try on several of this model. All had the same effect on my foot (which I've never had fitting problems with previously).

I owned the 1st and 2nd generation of this shoe -- and loved them! So, how badly could Nike screw up this 3rd generation? Unfortunately, very badly! They used to be a solid piece that your foot slipped into like a glove. Now, they have a loose tongue that slides so badly the whites of your socks show through the laces. Full flex shoes are great, I would just buy another brand.

While these shoes are great, nice color, etc., the navy blue on the toe rubbed off after 2 wears. We are considering exchanging.

I agree - Nike ruined their best running shoes. I've been using Nike Frees for years, and when it was time to buy a new pair, I purchased the Run+ 3. I've run a total of 80 or so miles, and my feet are constantly hurting.

Before buying this shoe, I heard mixed reviews. I knew a couple people who actually ran in it and liked it and I knew a couple of people who swore never to run in it. While I'm an avid runner, I bought these shoes specifically for walking. I would not suggest them to any runner unless you try them first and love them. Personally, the support is terrible even for walking and I would never think to run in these. I run in Mizuno Wave Rider 15's at the moment, which make your feet feel like machines. These Nike's make my feet look awesome, but feel like I stuck some mini-marshmallows to the bottoms of my feet. There is zero support or control and I can tell from the limited walking I've done in them that they will last about 6 months, then be trash. Alternatively, my Mizuno's have around 350 miles on them and they look, feel, and run amazingly. Overall, if you are looking for anything aside from a stylish shoe (my main reason for buying them), I would never recommend these shoes. If you like a cool looking shoe and don't run, go for it. Oh, and by the way, I won't be buying another pair again even for walking. Way too terrible of support.

Terrible. The right shoe does not fit very well for some reason. I thought it would take a while to break in but I think there is something wrong with shoe. Never again will I buy shoes off Zappos.

Great, comfortable shoes with one horribly crippling flaw- They squeak! I thought it was the rubber tread, and even cut a bit of the rubber off of one where it looked like it might be rubbing together- but it turns out that it's the stupid little plastic holder where the Nike+ dongle can be inserted. Every footfall emits a loud, annoying squeak. I can't wear them.

Nike should be ashamed. The Free3 is horrible compared to the first 2 versions. Nike killed the "sock" design and the tongue does not stay in place well. And they have added some hard plastic to the tread which is not nearly as pleasing as the softer version 1 and 2. I have owned 6 pairs of the frees and planned on never owning a different running shoe. Nike has ruined this plan. Ugg.

I'm guessing this is due to the soles being slit up like that but they are really squeaky when you walk, like embarrassingly squeaky, I changed my socks, switched insoles, the infernal squeak persisted. I didn't like the soles to begin with, I just figured function over aesthetics but it annoyed me so much that after one day, I had to return them. They were comfortable but didn't justify. One of the few times my brand has failed me.

These sneakers are just strange. They feel like they are made from foam--nice and light I guess but NO structure or support. They feel like something you would make for a Halloween costume. Maybe a specialty shoe just for runners? I don't know. Definitely not for an active kid.

If you are/were a fan of the +2 and have a wide foot you will probably hate these. I do. I've worn the +2's since they were first introduced and fell in love immediately. I've runs hundreds of miles in the +2's without the slightest discomfort or injury. The moment I slipped my foot into the +3's I knew I was toast. The reviewers who dislike the toe box are right on the money. There simply is not as much room there and the pressure on my feet is immediately noticeable. No amount of fussing with the laces will alleviate the problem. With the +2's I could run forever without laces in the shoes; they were that well designed. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine why Nike would screw with what appears to be a very popular shoe. Now I have to start out all over again trying to find a minimalist shoe to fit my wide foot or buy out all the ugly colors that Zappos hasn't been able to sell. Either way, I'm not at all pleased. Shame on you Nike.
