Love this shoe. It fits like a glove and is super lightweight. The blue colorway really pops. I'll admit I don't wear them to run in, but they are holding up well as a casual sneaker I can just live around in.

This shoe is incredibly comfortable as it is my first minimalist running shoe. There is a true tongue and no collar, which will always feel more natural. I normally wear a 10.5 but had to size up to 11.5

Love the Nike Free. Very light weight, flexible, and cushiony. Works the calf more when running. Followed advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size larger and they fit great.

I've never used this type of running shoe before and I was basically going off of the reviews. I've used them now for about two weeks and I love them! I've always went with new balance shoes with stability and over the past two years I've kept on getting injuries with my calves and heel. Since I've used these shoes I haven't felt pain of any kind! Arch support was surprisingly nice, just feels a little weird at first. Nike free has got my business from here on out! I run about 15-20 miles a week. I love being able to enjoy my runs again pain-free!

One of the best running shoes I've owned! Very lightweight and comfortable, I love how the shoe conforms to my foot and flexes with my movement. Good heel stability for crossfit workouts, too.

Very light and comfortable. This is my first pair of running shoes so I cannot say how well they compare to others, but they feel great. I had to order one size larger than what I usually wear though.

These are the most comfortable shoes out there! My son, who is 12 and is 1 inch shorter than me, always comes home complaining about his ankles and knees hurting him, but the doctors never know what to tell me, he doesn't have bad feet, unlike mine, from being in the military, twisted, sensitive, etc. Anyways, I bought these for him and he hasn't complained since, infact, he faster in P.E., he loves to run more, he is just happier now. So I bought me a green pair, and I couldn't believe I actually found a pair of shoes that didn't hurt either one of my feet! Amazing, just Amazing.

Nike Free Run 3s are even more comfortable than the previous version which I also have in black. They are like walking on cushions. I use them for gym and short runs. Zappos have been great with returns as well. Love Zappos!

I usually have back pain and shin splints after running and playing sports but my wife told me to give the Nike Free's a chance because they will help me. I didn't believe it but they actually did help me! Best shoes I have ever worn in my life.

These fit really nice, and it feels like you're walking on clouds. The toe box is sized well for a minimalist shoe (larger). All in all I plan to buy another pair when more colorways are released.

After running for thirty-four years as a heel striker and finally having some hip problems, I read Born to Run. I switched to a low shoe to run flat footed which seems to work. This shoe's outer sole wears away rather quickly. The outsole on this shoe is the mid sole on normal cushioned shoes. I have run 26 marathons including 7 Bostons and 5 NYCs. Best time was a 2:46. Ran almost exclusively in Nikes, even wear tested for them for awhile.

I liked the look and style of the Nike Free Run 3,but I feel that I probably should have ordered a 1/2 size larger. I did find that the shoe was flexible and moveable enough to get by with what I ordered. It does seem that the cut of the upper lasts on the shoe may be a little off however. Even with the shoelaces threaded through the tongue loops the tongue of the shoe slides to the side.

Really good shoes, feels good to run in but not much arch support. That's the only bad thing.

The primary reason I bought these shoes was the color. They're yellow. Super yellow. And awesome. They're also really lightweight. They don't have the same sock-like tongue that the Free Run+ 2's have. The tongue on these shoes is the standard variety, which is too bad because I prefer the sock-tongue. One final note is that these shoes don't have much structure to them. That sounds strange, I know, but that's what gives them the barefoot feel. It's not really an issue apart from the heel - it tends to crumple a little when your leg and ankle are positioned just right (like when you have your foot pointed).

Don't but this shoe if you have wide feet! Shoe felt fine when I first tried it on but 2 miles into a run my right foot went numb. At my finish I see that I have a huge blister caused by the combination of my wide feet and that weird plastic thing in the sides of the shoe. Now that I have run in them I'm stuck with an expensive shoe I can't wear.

If you have worn this type of a shoe I would highly recommend try them first. I found the lack of heal support to be an issue with the fit and comfort.

By reading everyone's comments on here, it seemed I had found a good shoe. However, the way it laces up, the width is very narrow and the loose tongue. I have the original Free Run style, and I have loved them. They have ruined them in this design.

Great low profile running shoe. Very flexible and light. Takes some time to get used to if you are accustomed to bulky padded running shoes, but helps develop good form and strong calf muscles.
