Excellent support. I work on my feet and had no knee,leg or back pain. First time I wore them without socks and got ankle blisters, I think I will wear thin socks with them. They look cute with jeans,slacks and skirts.

I was looking for a pair of summer shoes that would hold securely to my foot as opposed to a traditional step-in sandal that I might slip out of. I purchased the Pesca in Cognac and Tawny in my usual size of 38 (7 1/2) Wide. The Cognac pair fit perfectly even with my high instep while the Tawny pair were a little snugger. I’ve worn the Cognac pair continually for the last week and am very pleased with how they fit and look.

Pesca model so nice and comfortable. I bought the black. Liked so much came back and bought the brown. :) I have bunions on both feet worse on the right so I am always looking for a nice comfortable shoe. Happy to report I know own 3 pairs of Alegria.

OK. Alegria People! Are you reading this! I have VERY difficult to fit feet. I have Metatarsus Adductus--C-curved feet. Finding comfortable, styleish (read here non orthopedic looking shoes) that come in wide sizes for size 10.5 is a HUGE hassle!!! Enter the Alegria Pesca! Meets ALL the requirements. Now Alegria if you would only produce MORE shoes like these! And, Zappos, if you would only carry more stylish brands and sizes for Large, Wide feet, yes, that might make my life a bit easier!!! THANK YOU!!!

The Alegria is a relaxed-fit shoe to begin with, but the heel was too loose for me. A cushioned heel grip helped some. It's an adorable shoe; I've always loved the Fisherman's sandal.

These is a great shoe...just didn't like the way it looked on me.

I took them out of the box and put them on. I kept them on all day and into the evening before getting into bed. These are the most comfortable shoes ever!! Thank you for such a wonderful item!

perfection! i have very small and wide feet: 5 1/2 wide. it is very difficult to find shoes that fit. These fit! I am on my feet all day at work and these are so comfortable. i did not have to break them in. I will definitely get them in more colors if available. Very happy!

I had bought the Pesca in the lighter tan, but that color simply didn’t “go” with things. So I snapped up the tawny Pesca....*now* we”re talking’! As with all Algerias, with fit, width, and support are perfect for my duck platforms.

This is my second pair of the Pesca style shoe. The fit was very good.

I have this 2 pairs of this style in other colors and love them. I ordered the wrong size and had to return.

Extremely comfortable and fit great! Have worn them to work daily since receiving them. May purchase more in other colors!

Beautiful well made shoe. Sadly they were to large and had to return. Will order a different brand.

My Allegra Pesca started to squeak too. Very annoying. Other than at I really like them.

Perfect fit. I have a foot disorder and this is perfect support for issue.

Love these shoes! I generally have to wear orthotics but not with these. Most recently ordered the Tawny and Black in a 38R. The black leather is soft, fits perfectly, and is very comfortable. The Tawny leather in the regular width felt very stiff and tight. I returned that one and ordered a 38W. That solved the problem. They fit well and are comfortable. I also like that you can order a new insole for these shoes.

I love these sandals. The modest platform is great for a short person. Plenty of wide toe room for my very sensitive toes.

I bought a larger size following the other reviews stating it ran small, the shoe does not run small is true to size. Very comfortable, I have feet problems, I wear orthotics and this shoe fits perfectly, I love it. If you buy the wrong size the customer service is excellent if you need to return an item

These run a little small so I ordered the next size up & they fit perfectly. I usually get slip on shoes for summer but got these as a compromise with my PT after knee surgery. They turned out to be super comfortable & no trouble to get in & out of. They go with most casual clothing I wear & look cuter on than in the picture.

I got these in the cognac color and love them. They're chunky looking, but in a fun way. Super comfortable too. My ortho insoles fit in easily and they're very comfortable for all day wear.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and so cute. I have some major foot problems and need rocker bottom and stiff base. This is a shoe I can wear all day pain free. recommend these shoes
