These shoes were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Tried to wear them at work, but had to change after 1 hour.

I usually wear a Wide shoe, and even though I could see the nice, wide toe box, the opening to slip your foot into was so narrow, I couldn't even get my foot in to try it. I was disappointed, because the shoe looked nice and was obviously well constructed and nice materials.

I received these shoes in May and I loved them. They are super comfortable and my heel doesn't hurt at all. I was going to get the pink pair too. But, and for me this is a big BUT, they are now SQUEAKING horribly. They are so loud I can't wear them out of the house. Really, they are that loud. I would return them if I could as what is the point of a pricey pair of shoes, no matter how comfortable, if you can't wear them out in public? The squeak is in the bottom part of the shoe. The leather does not squeak.

The comfort of these shoes is phenomenal. Today was the first day in a long time my feet did not hurt all day long. But I had just been wearing them for two hours when the left one starting making squeaking noises with every step. It sounds as though I am being followed by a choir of amorous frogs. My feet are terribly disappointed, but I don't know if I am going to be able to stand it.

This is a super cute shoe - perfect for warmer months but still providing the wonderful support Alegrias are famous for. However...this shoe is made for people with thin, bony feet. I always wear an 8 medium, and my feet aren't chubby, but this shoe was so tight over the top of my foot that the skin there actually poked through the openings! Going up a size would not have made any difference; the length was perfect, but the material on top was not stretched out enough for a normal foot. Bony-footed people will probably love this shoe! Normal to chubby-footed, keep looking.

Have this shoe in size 36. It's sloppy fit. Ordered 35 hoping for a better fit but it's too small. Lovely shoe though

Hugely disappointed in this shoe. Very short no where true to US size 10.5-11.

This looked like a great shoe. I have a high arch and was unable to try the shoe on. The actual opening is not large enough for a high arched foot. So had to return the shoe.

These were like gigantic hobbit shoes.

I thought this would work with orthotics, but the supplied spongy innersole is absurdly thick, so when I removed it to put in a custom orthotic, my foot was too low in the shoe. Not orthotic-friendly! A well-made shoe, but unwearable.

Not true to size marked, narrow and difficult to slide foot in due to opening. These will be going back.

The sizing seems to be strange on this Alegria shoe. I ordered my regular size but could not even get the shoes on my feet. Cute shoes but a strange fit.

These were the most disappointing shoes I've had in a long time. They caused blisters and they squeaked when I walked in them. Unfortunately, this happened AFTER I decided they were fine and wore them on an all day outing. The squeaking started later. They were donated to Goodwill before our move to Arizona. It was a relief to not have to keep looking at this buying mistake.

Although the shoes looked great, the end of the toe box, where my toes actually go was very flat, top to bottom and squished my toes. Also, my orthotics couldn't possibly be used with these shoes as advertised.

I am so disappointed in these shoes. They seemed like they would be perfect, but the edge of the shoe curves in where my big toe is located. So in spite of this shoe looking like it is foot-shaped, in fact it is not. In the short time I had it on, it seemed very comfortable. I am sad to find yet another shoe that sacrificed fit for style.

The "Pesca" Sandal is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever purchased! The leather is very stiff, "harsh" and unforgiving. I realized that a break-in period would be longer that the skin on my feet would last! They are extremely stiff to walk in. If I could give this shoe "zeroes" in the star categories, I would! Do not buy this sandal! I will stick to Naot sandals and shoes - they are the best!

Love the look of the shoe, not quite as comfortable as what I would have expected from the reviews. I got the cognac leather, which is a bit lighter than the picture shows, but a fairly neutral color. My biggest complaint is the NOISE! I have worn these shoes at least 20 times and they squeak when I walk. A LOT! I teach school and it is embarrassing when I walk down the hall during class times because you can hear me coming a mile away. If anyone has any suggestions to stop the squeaking... please pass it on.
