Did not fit my narrow foot.

I had purchased this brand at a store and it fit very good with my problem feet.. bunion and badly shaped toe issues. This shoe did not accommodate my foot at all. I couldn't even get it in the opening and have to return it.

I really liked he show however the leather where the strap goes in rubbed hebinside of my feet. The 38 was way to big and the 37 vey small so unfortunately they have to go back.

The square toe box is nice, but a little snug across the top of toes. Does stretch out with time in the rest of the shoe. Love the cute style. . Great arch support and love the rolling style which helps my knees. Was hoping to wear socks with them with cooler weather ,but would need larger size

Loved the shoe on the outside. The inside is another story. After inserting different insoles, I just could not understand the reason for my discomfort in the toe area. Then, I put my hand into the front section of the shoe and found the problem. There is an inward sown seam connecting the outer/inner sole to the upper leather part of the shoe around the toe area on the inside of shoe. These shoes would have been a keeper, but my toes say otherwise.

I couldn't even begin to get this shoe on over my AFO brace. It is a really cute shoe, but will not begin to work for me. I couldn't assess comfort or foot. I couldn't get it on far enough.

I wear a 10 medium but my left foot is longer than my right. I was sent a size 40 (equivalent to American size 10) but they were a bit too short, especially on the left foot. The leather is thick and stiff and I could not get my foot into the shoe without completely undoing the strap, which was hard to do as the buckle would not slide over the Velcro. A size 41 might fit better but nothing will change about the stiff leather and difficult strap, so I am returning and not exchanging the shoe.

I had these shoes for a year and they squeaked every time I walked THE ENTIRE time! I think if I'd gotten half size smaller, this might not have been an issue. But who knows for certain. They were incredibly comfortable but I advise wearing with socks to prevent chafing.

Cute shoe with an unbelievably good insole. I have lots of issues with my feet and wished this could work but the opening to slip my foot in was just to small - I need to wear a sock and once I get the shoe on my sock is pulled too tight against my tootsies so I can't spread them out in this otherwise very roomy toe box. Certainly a quality shoe - just cranky feet!

I really wanted to like these but they rubbed in the wrong places. Cute cute shoe, just not for me.

These Pesca were nice looking and soft leather but needed a shoe horn to get them on. If you don't take that top strap all the way out of the buckle I have to struggle to get them on. Sending them back for this reason.

I bought these shoes last spring to wear during a summer camp I direct. They ran a bit bigger than I'd anticipated but I didn't want to go down a size because my feet swell in the heat being on them all day. My biggest complaint is that the shoes squeak--EVERY time I take a step. I thought it'd get better with wear but it's coming up on a year and you can still hear me walking.

Unfortunately, this shoes does not fit correctly. Too big in the heel.

The leather appears already worn. I found the shoe easily rolled to the side, luckily no injury to my ankle but after the 3rd time, back they go!

I was excited about wearing these shoes to summer camp as a tennis shoe alternative. They feel good like Alegria's tend to feel but they were a bit bigger than I would've liked. To be fair, my feet have grown half to a whole size in the last 2-3 years so I'm still figuring out sizes for shoes in general. I kept them because I thought the size down would be too small. They aren't terrible but they do squeak which is awkward when walking in a quiet room.

I love my Alegria Pesca shoes except for one thing, they squeak all the time. It sounds like I'm walking in wet shoes. I bought them based on reviews and everything I read was accurate: the fit and the comfort. I wasn't looking for style, I was looking for comfort. I rarely buy shoes online because I'm always afraid they won't fit right. They fit great and they squeak to boot - That's why I only gave 3 stars for "Overall". I still wear them though.

These are attractive, well made shoes with good support and cushioning. I bought the 39, using the Alegria chart and the shoes seemed just a bit short, which I could have lived with had they not slipped so badly at the heels. I do not have a narrow foot but I do have narrow heels and this shoe was just not for me. I returned it with great reluctance given how difficult it is to find navy shoes.

They just don't fit-- too wide in the toe box, and my foot comes out of the heel when I walk around. I normally have no problem with regular or medium width shoes. Also, the edge of the leather at the top was very irritating. I wear a size 10, but based on other reviews I ordered a 10.5 (size 41) and the length is okay--the support is good in just the right areas. I even measured my feet for length since other shoes I have with European sizes are labelled differently. The width makes them very clunky looking across the toe area. I'm giving them 3 stars just because of the support. So these are going back-- I really appreciate Zappos' excellent service!

While I love the look of these shoes, I was disappointed to find out that they are not adjustable to fit a wide foot and/or high instep. Using even a single adjustable strap as in the Venice style (rather than a strap that loops over and does not adjust) would make a difference.

Great looking shoe but doesn't work if you have a high arch/instep--can't get foot into shoe even though there is elastic on one side.

This sandal looks sturdy and comfortable. There were two things that made me return it. 1) The toe box was too big. 2) the insole is thick leaving a nice deep place for my orthotic to fit. This should be a good thing because it hides your orthotic so it isn't seen out the side of the sandal. The problem is that it left more room inside the sandal, thus making the sandal way too large I returned it. I also got the Alegria Ella Night Rose in the same size and it fit fine.

The arch support in this shoe is noticeably less than the support in the Mary Jane style of Alegria. They also run large.

Feel great. Look great, EXCEPT I bought them in red thinking they would be cheerful. However, every time I wear them I feel like I am wearing clown shoes because the red is sooo red and they are wide at the toes, a la Bozo the Clown. I recommend getting them in a neutral color.

I wear a 40 and have and these just looked enormous on my feet! They are big feet anyway these just made them look even bigger! Might be better in a darker color, not sure.

The arch support in this shoe is not effective because the shoe is too long. It's sized as a 38 (8-8.5), which is the problem, I think. I need an 8 and these are way too long for an 8 (probably too long for an 8.5 as well), so I'm stepping on the arch support with the ball of my foot, not the middle...very painful. Getting into the shoe is hampered due to the metal disk on the strap, which prevents opening up the shoe wide enough. Due to this, it's a struggle to get the shoe on, but once on it's plenty wide enough to wear. Because of this impediment, I don't want to order a smaller (shorter) size, I'm thinking I'd never get the shoe on my foot if I did that.
