I ordered these in regular and wide width before getting the right size. Unfortunately, I will be sending them back because the strap that fastens with Velcro doesn’t tighten enough due to the two pieces of elastic the strap has. I considered sewing a tuck in the elastic to draw up the excess so it fits better. I’m afraid it won’t work. I wish they used a buckle!

Wear extra wide but have worn Alegria Wide in past. This was too narrow. Otherwise would have been great shoe

Had to send them back. Both the 10.5 W and 10.5 R were too large. If anything, the R was even wider than the W. I love the style and am giving it one more try in the next size down. Hope they fit.

I am disappointed that the 10.5 Regular feels even wider than the 10.5 Wide -and I'm returning the shoes. I love the style and color but my foot is swimming in them.

I have purchased this shoe several times in another color. I returned this order because the leather felt very harsh on my feet, not like a new shoe feel but a leather that would not soften up so rather than take a chance I returned them.

Sadly, not a good fit.

A cute shoe, but hard to get into because for some reason the buckle is designed to keep it from being released very far. I had hoped it would be a more adjustable strap.

These are extremely stiff and not padded shoes. Plus the sole seems like it would be very slippery on wet surfaces.

I thought these shoes would have more arch support but they just felt hard and stiff. The stiff feel included the leather of the upper as well,

The sandal was cute, but the shoes were so loose in the heel that every time I took a step they almost came off my feet. The velcro strap was too short. It didn't allow for extra tightening as the shoe was worn. I would have kept them otherwise.

I have worn several pairs of Alegria and wanted a closed toe sandal. They are nice looking and would have been what I wanted except that I had 1/4" gap on the heel and most of my foot came out of the shoe when I walked. The hook and loop closure while being a nice feature didn't allow for stretching as the shoe was worn. I am very disappointed these sandals didn't work out.

I am really disappointed in these shoes. I have been wearing Alegria shoes for a long time and these did not fit. They were too small not to mention that the heal had a real rough spot.

Very cute for an orthopedic shoe! I wear 10.5 shoe 41 recommended. Too small! Buy a 42.

These are ok, and will look ok with wider leg slacks. However, when wearing these with socks, the shoes slip in the heels. They don't do that without socks. But, it doesn't matter what sock I wear, the shoes pull them down and bunch them up under my foot. What an annoyance!

The sandal is cute for casual wear. Fits a little large and wide., no problem with that. The top of the shoe is attractive with leather upper and stitching along the perimeter of the shoe. The sole was a problem for me. Looks like the sole is a thin layer of rubber like material over the sole. There is very little tread. I would have preferred a thick tread rubber sole. These don't look like they will last very long

Shoe is comfortable but ugly. I made the mistake of getting the dark brown color and my son said it looked like bad Dad shoes! He’s right! Leather was stiff but would probably soften with leather conditioner. They were also a smidge long and wide for my true size 8 feet. Returned.

US size 7.5-8 just Do Not translate well to European sizing. Since I could not get the right fit, it is hard for me to say if this is a Great Shoe. IMHO It was large, hot, clunky looking and didn’t feel that marvelous to me. Don’t buy European size shoes if you’re a medium width US size 8.

These are such cute shoes, but the support wasn't there for me. Had to go back to my Birkenstocks.

I ordered a wide at first. The toe box was great for my fat foot but my average heel slipped. I exchanged for a medium. Toe box was still OK but my heel also still slipped. I had a low rise orthotic in there, but I don't think that was the reason they slipped. The heel was just wide. If they had fit I'd be concerned that the edges of the stiff leather would cause chafing for a long time before well broken in but I probably would have kept them.

Even with my orthotic inserts, there wasn't much cushion or support with these.

So many people have given so many positive reviews about this shoe I decided to try it. There's nothing to lose given Zappos return policy. Unfortunately this shoe was not right for me. The style did not look right on my foot and the leather was not soft and was very uncomfortable on my foot. That may have changed given time but I didn't want to take the chance and returned them.

I wrote a review a few days after receiving these shoes. That was a few months ago. While I still think they are very comfortable overall, I have a recurring problem with them: no matter what socks I wear the one on the right foot always slips down into the shoe when I walk. Just the right shoe and every time. It is the weirdest thing! It is so annoying that I am inclined not to wear these shoes when I will be walking a lot during the day.

I liked this shoe. It felt really good on my feet with it supportive soles. Unfortunately, it didn't fit. I'm a 9-1/2, so I ordered the 9-9-1/2, but could feel my toes touching the end of the shoes and the 10-10-1/2 would be too big.

Super cute but not very comfortable.

The style of the shoe is cute. I like the square toe box. My problem consistently with Alegria is the depth of the toe box is not tall enough if you have problems with your toes. I do keep trying hoping they will fix the problem. Also if there were softer materials above the toes that would help also.
