These are really comfortable, even if the laces take some getting used to. The reason I had to return them is that the platform the shoes sit on top of is very wide. It is so wide that when I walk, the bottoms rub up against each other. This may not be a problem for taller gals, but I am 5'4" and when I walked, I had the moving foot hitting the other foot's shoe. It's a shame because they are cute and comfortable.

I am a fan of ridiculously bright shoes, and these do not disappoint. Also, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have pretty big feet, and these shoes are awesome.

I'm disappointed. I'm a big fan of Salomon shoes but this style has a much more flexible sole than my earlier pairs. I read the description and even watched the video and thought I'd get something like my older Salomons. That being said, they are comfortable, give good lateral support and traction. I'm also able to fit my sports orthotic into the shoe well. And the color combo is cheerful.

This lacing system is ridiculous and I will never buy this type again for that reason. I expected to like this shoe more. It is not all that.

I am so very disappointed! I absolutely love the colors on this shoe, the make and model name is: Salomon XR Mission W, in Regular Width (That is the only width they are offered in), in the colors: Score Blue/Very Purple! I have looked at these shoes on Zappos, for a very long time (Around one year!). I read the reviews, and considered, before buying them; However, upon receiving them, after looking forward to finally getting a pair of these beauties, I experienced great disappointment: they are at least one whole size too small! My feet are a true size 11, but sadly, these shoes, are not! For the Price, I would expect a True Size 11. I Still Love the colors and style of this shoe. I am sad and disappointed! Zappos service, as usual, is top notch, and their personnel are exceptional. I just wish that my experience with the sizing of these shoes, could have been that positive, as well. And to think, I wasted a Zappos coupon, on this purchase - but, how is one to know?!

These shoes are beautiful and I wish I could keep them, but the cord laces do not work for me. They are hard to maneuver and they can't get tight enough. Although I detest having to re-tie lace-up shoes, it's far better than this alternative.

Cute sneaker but the heel is narrow and the toe box although big as they all say the edges of my baby toes still hit the sides. I tried them on the evening when my feet are at their worst and was sad they were not wide enough and the narrow back was weird. I will keep looking.

These shoes are terrible! Not enough cushion/shock absorption! I am a nurse practitioner in a busy clinic. After wearing these for the day, my feet & legs were killing me! I wanted to love them! Love the vibrant colors! Thought maybe I didn't give them enough time, so I wore them another day. Not comfy at all! These run true to size. They are a little wide through the toe but not in other areas. Very disappointed!

I am so disappointed. I bought this exact same model last year and loved them for trail/city running. They were perfect. Not too much cushion, great stability. When I saw them available in this great color I was excited. The latest pair lacks any cushion or support. I don't understand how the exact same model would be so different. The only thing that I can tell is that the insole on my first pair is by "Ortho lite". After some research it looks like Salomon uses this insole on their higher end shoes. The second pair of XR Missons has just a regular insole - not the ortho-lites. I am torn whether I should just purchase expensive insoles or send these back.

I have a pair from a couple of years ago and I was disappointed with this pair. The forefoot is boxier and salomon has cheaped out on the insert. The older pair has an ortholite insert with good arch support, now it's just a cheap insert and doesn't support half as well, they're going back. For the cost they should include a decent insert with arch support!

Very comfortable shoe and I've gotten lots of compliments on the color combination. However, tread is starting to peel off of the bottom and I've only had them three months!

They look very good, but very uncomfortable. Very narrow around the ankle and very wide in the front (my toes would come all way up).

This shoe would be great if the arch was not so high! I love the cushion and support but after about 3 miles I have huge blisters in my arches.

These shoes are no comparison to XT Wings that I have bought for the past few years (now discontinued). No firm feel to the overall shoe and no firm arch support. Feels squishy soft and not good stability and pronation control for me. Fun color, though. Salomon has now lost me as a customer due to the discontinuation of the XT Wings and no comparable options.

Stay away! I loved these sneakers when they first arrived; vibrant colors and comfortable on a foot recently out of a surgical boot. Within three weeks the show was less than comfortable. Now 3 months out I can't even wearing them to have gym anymore. The padding is all but gone and I experience back and knee pain after each use. So disappointed!

I ordered the Salomon XR Crossmax in the same size. The Crossmax fit great. The XR Mission W in the same size felt too wide, too long, and flimsy. I already have the Salomon Synapse in this same size and it fits great. So I don't know what's up with this XR Mission, but I returned it.

These shoes were very uncomfortable. The high arch gave me a blister on my foot after only a 5 mile run. And, the tongue dug into the top of my foot the 2nd time I tried wearing them, no matter how much I tried to loosen the ties. I probably won't wear them again, and it ended up being a waste of money.
