Was very comfortable for 2 hours, for this person with very bad feet. After 2 hours it started to feel pressure at certain bony points that grew very uncomfortable very fast. I also realized that for me it was a must to wear thicker socks with it -- the skin is kind of hard and stiff and rubs in the wrong places. Still, overall, knowing how hard it is for me to find anything remotely comfortable that is not outright ugly on me -- this was a fine experience.

Very comfortable for standing and walking. Like most Danskos fit is slightly larger. I think the color is slightly lighter and not as shiny in person compared to the photo. Comfort is better than clogs with a solid wood sole.

I ordered 2 sizes because I run between a 39 and 1 40 depending on the style. The 39 alittle small, the 40 fit great. Love the color.

I completely love these shoes. I am used to wearing Danskos for work, so these seemed to make sense to try. I now can wear Dansko comfort with a casual skirt.

These shoes are darling. I got the light taupe color and I love it (I think they call it Sand Dollar). It's even cuter in person. They're very comfy, I didn't feel like they needed any breaking in (and I'm very picky about shoes needing to be extremely comfortable.) I've been wearing them with socks because they're too cute to wait to wear, and it's still winter. I know they'll look even cuter without socks. Dansko's are just great. I like the heel height and I love the fact that they don't feel like heels at all. Love them. I thought they fit true to size.

This style runs small. I wear a 38 in Dansko clogs and this is an entire size too small. My toes were hitting the end of the shoe and my heel nearly hanging off. Order a size up.

The first day I wore these to work, I got multiple compliments on them -- surprisingly from men as well as women! I think it is because they look classy, sexy, dressy, casual all at the same time. I am a busy rehab professional, on my feet on concrete all day and Dansko's are my go-to shoes to avoid leg fatigue and foot discomfort. This style offers me a lighter, cooler summer option without sacrifice!

I love this pair of Dansko's. They fit well and I was able to wear them all day walking around a big city as a tourist without any sore spots or leg fatigue. And it was their first wearing. The fabric foot bed is soft and they feel like my other Dansko sandals in comfort and quality.

I can always count on Dankos! I have bunions and a high arch, these darling shoes fill the bill.. look and feel great and cover the bunions, and support my feet. I did have to stretch them a bit to accommodate my bunion, but are great now! Thank you Zappos for great service, as always!

These shoes are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I've always had trouble finding good shoes, and tried others (Crocs Alice work, too narrow for my bunions and the all rubber construction and sweaty feet. Clarks un.Knot and the edge of the heel caused my foot to bleed and the strap across the top of the shoe dug in. Ouch!) With no luck. My usual purchases are Blowfish flats because they're comfortable and wide enough, but at about a decent price a pop, it's ridiculous that they only last a few months of everyday wear before wearing out. I ordered the Dansko Sam shoes in brown, and they're very lightweight and comfortable for walking, and being on my feet all day at work. They're also versatile enough to be dressy or casual. Love it! Worth the money for sure!

The best shoes ever. Super comfortable and can dress down or up. I'm a 6-6 1/2 and the 36 is perfect. Buy these, you won't regret it.

My friend and I both purchased these shoes last summer and were both horrified to realize that they STANK after wearing them on a hot, sweaty summer day. Neither of us is prone to foot odor. The footbed would literally be squishing out sweat and stink by the end of the day. I think these will be going into the garbage this year.

Love. Love. Love this shoe! I have been looking for, and need a shoe with a wide width for my bunions. Took a chance and ordered this one. It arrived today; and my feet are so happy! It looks nice and feminine too, with that Mary Jane style. Ladies...I know they are an expensive shoe; but when your feet feel good....you feel good! Like many of Dansko's shoes, the Sam is ugly. But boy is it comfortable! I wear it mainly with pants, particularly that time of year when it's too warm for socks, but not warm enough for sandals. The chief drawback to Dansko's shoes is there's only one width, but they seem to be cut generously enough so that they fit my big, wide feet.

Dansko, looks like I'm going to have to give up on you. I love clogs and have tried on many of your styles, but have never been able to wear them because they refuse to fit my long, size 9.5-10 narrow feet. My true size is 10AA, but since cute narrow shoes are so hard to find, I compromise by buying 9.5B, and that usually works. But not with Danskos. The design of this shoe is exactly my style, a two-piece ankle strap. I'm able to adjust the ankle strap to perfect fit, but the toe box is too roomy and rubs my skinny foot on top and on both sides. I just finished trying them on and now I have to send them straight back. Please, Dansko. Please! Make this shoe to fit narrow feet. I hate returning something that looks so right yet fits so wrong.

I owned some other Dansko clogs while I was pregnant but they weren't very cute. I saw these (Sam) on a person and they really caught my eye. I bought the Sand Dollar color and honestly, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I have a wide foot and these are perfect. I wear a size 8 1/2 so I ordered a 39 and they are great. No pinching at the tops just pure comfort. I wish all shoes were as comfortable as these are! And since they are so cute, I will buy a pair in every color.

My feet and legs were hurting so much from training for a marathon that I started wearing my fun cute minimal running shoes to work. It was not exactly the image I was trying to achieve, I am a teacher and can sometimes get away with it- but not everyday. My sister is a nurse and she recommended Dansko. Oh my goodness, when I got these I was so excited! I was worried they would be too wide for my narrow feet- they were not or would make me feel really tall, which they don't. They are perfect. I think they may even be more comfortable than my running shoes.

I already had these in black but needed brown shoes for a new dress, so I had to get them in brown, too! They're comfortable, supportive, great with jeans and dresses, and the leather is buttery soft.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter. She is in need of dress shoes for a new job. She is hard to fit: the front of her foot is wide and her heel is average sized. These shoes worked well for her. The toe box fits her foot, the foot bed is comfortable, and the angle of her foot in the shoe is so comfortable that she could easily wear these all day on her feet while having the extra height needed for dress pants. She said they are her most comfortable shoes so far.

Needed to replace an old pair of Danskos - tried on many styles and brands of clogs and came back to Dansko. The fit on the Sam is perfect and the style works for dressy or casual. Love them!

I loved these shoes from the second they arrived. I bought them for work because our tasting room requires black shoes and ballet flats just don't cut it. The first day I got them I refused to take them off because they were so comfortable. I'm a size 7.5 and I ordered a size 38. For this particular shoe it was perfect. They look absolutely adorable with jeans and the black slacks I have to wear to work. And they more than support my feet while I'm at work. That's saying something because I have pretty high arches and my feet can get sore quickly standing for 7 hours a day. I'm thinking about getting them in the other 2 colors, not for work but just because I love how well they fit and how cute they are!

I bought these shoes about ten years ago when they were still made with nubuck suede. They are awesome and can still be worn to this day. Because they were made with suede at that time they did not cut into my feet so I cannot speak to that.

This was my first Dansko purchase, and it was a disappointment. I found the footbed to be incredibly wide, and the shoe uncomfortable due to the lack of cushioning and the inflexible sole. Will have to return.

Finally found these in the euro 43. The fit is great. I have long narrow size 11, and Dansko usually fits short and wide for me. When I found these one size larger than I would normally purchase I was worried they would be too wide. However, not so. The way the front fits around the top takes care of everything.
