These are extremely comfortable: cushy insole, plenty wide, soft leather. The first time I wore them I did not wear socks and was on my feet for an eight hour day. They were perfect. Seemed true to size. They're also very cute with jeans, capris, leggings, skirts. I dressed them up with an Eileen Fisher outfit.

This would be my third pair of Danskos, and like the others, they're amazingly comfortable. However, this pair I'll be returning because they're just so unattractive. They're so wide in front I look like I'm wearing clown shoes. Additionally, they look rather "old" and orthotic. I'm rather disappointed as I've been looking for a shoe I can wear for 8+ hours at work that looks nice with a skirt, but these make me feel frumpy.

Love this shoe! I have wide feet and I stand all day for work, and these shoes are perfect on both fronts. The arch support is great (as always). The leather on the Sam is also very flexible, which is the main reason my wide foot is comfortable in this medium width shoe. As others have said, this shoe is lightweight and has a very soft interior (unlike most Dansko shoes). My only word of warning is that this style runs shorter than the others. If you have long toes, you might want to try ordering you regular size and one up.

Cute, and incredibly comfortable right out of the box. Perfect walking shoe. I'll be back for the blue ones.

I started a new job in March and came home every night for a week nearly weeping from how much my feet hurt...in sneakers! Dansko was on my short list to examine as an alternative when I got a great tip from a nurse I met: the heel of the clogs are wide and you're likely to step out of them. She even said she'd known women who fractured ankles in the clogs. When I saw this version with the snug ankle straps I thought it was a great solution to my concerns. I was right, these Dansko's are amazing! They stay snugly on my feet, they are comfortable enough to wear 8-10 hours a day running around a winery and they don't look half bad. I have the black, they aren't super stylish, but nice, and so so comfortable. No more crying, no more epsom salt foot baths, no more elevated legs every night, these are exactly what I needed. I highly recommend them!

Very cute. A little lighter in color than in the photo (a cornflower blue?). A great closed toe alternative to sandals for the office. The wood-grain look on the sole makes them feel summery.

I love these shoes. I bought them a size larger and they are perfect. As some of the other reviewers stated, they do not cut into the top of my foot. They are stylish and comfy. My feet run wide and I was surprised at how well these fit. I highly recommend them.

I purchased these in black. I had two foot surgeries on my right foot in October 2011. Since then I have to buy more expensive, well made and podiatrist approved shoes. I have been wearing Merrell Encore Ice (slide on sheepskin lined clogs) and Aetrex Berry slides since I could only slide my foot straight in without bending the toes. This was my first "real shoe" in months. The sole is not as comfortable as I had hoped. It is quite firm, almost hard, but provides great stability. The slight rocker bottom is a must for me. I am able to keep the shoes on all day and walk around, however my right foot is a bit swollen by the end of the day. Receive many compliments on the style from people who know I have to wear special shoes now. I am actually planning to buy another pair/color for spring/summer. I wear them with my skirt suits and jeans so quite a flexible style. The leather is good quality and the heel height is perfect since I am 5'8.75" tall. I wear between a 9 and 9.5, so I had to buy the 9.5-10. Fortunately, they fit more like a 9.5 than a 10.

I bought the shoe in black. I can wear it in professional settings as well as every day casual. I have a closet full of shoes I can't wear because I have feet issues. I'm diabetic, have a bum ankle, one foot is bigger than the other, and my second toe is longer than my big too, so comfort is a major factor for me. Most shoes are very painful for me to wear. I did a search on 'the world's most comfortable shoes' and Dansko products came up, so I bit the bullet and spent three times what I normally would on a pair of shoes in the hopes they would be comfortable. I won't lie to you. It's not like walking on a cloud of cotton. But after a few days of wearing them, I have no blisters, my feet feel secure, and although I don't feel like I'm walking on clouds, there is at least no pain. So I'm happy I bought them. :)

I love these shoes. I was a bit hesitant to buy Danskos again because the last pair I bought had such hard leather. I checked the other reviews and they commented how soft the leather is so I took a chance (hoping to find a pair like an old pair of Danskos that I love and still wear). These were so wonderful that I went and bought another color a week later. They're so cute too and will be great this summer with skirts or shorts.

I bought the Ocean color pair and loved it so much, I decided to order another one in Sand Dollar also. This one looks a lot lighter in color in person and frankly looks very very orthopedic and granny looking in a bad way. Very comfortable but not keen on looking older.

I love these shoes! The sand dollar color matches khaki perfectly so they go with a lot. I wear them with both dresses/skirts and pants. They are great for work, especially if you have to be on your feet or walk distances since they are so comfortable. They are a tad difficult to get on and off but I can slip them on without undoing the buckle on the ankle strap.

Love my Dansko Sam! Got them today and wore them all day - no breaking in needed. They are cute an comfortable - the Ocean blue is bright without being obnoxious. Thank you Zappos for my VIP service and great shoes!

Cute, comfortable and they don't dig into the top of my foot. They stabilize my walking...can't ask for more than that!

The leather on these shoes is much softer than it looks online. I returned them today even though the comfort level was there and I love Danskos generally. But something about this particular style just didn't look right on my feet. The toe box was just turned upward a bit too much for my taste. Otherwise, it's a cute shoe. I'll try the 'Maeve' and see how those work for me.

The shoe is true to size and the leather is wonderful. Comfortable and good looking.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have the sand and black and I want the ocean. They feel wonderful. I have about 30 pairs of Dansko shoes and I think these are the best. A big thanks also goes to zappos.

I have the standard Dansko clogs, and these feel very similar. Instant comfort, no breaking in period. Much more comfortable on the top of the foot than the other Dansko brand maryjane styles. Love them for being on my feet all day! Worth the money for sure. I'm a size 8-8.5 and I ordered a 39.

I live in Danskos because of heel spurs and a back problem they are the only shoe that actually make the heel spur pain go away. This shoe is so comfortable and the color is so pretty goes well with jeans/skirts. In comparison to the clogs it's a much lighter weight shoe also which will make it perfect for summer.

These are fantastic shoes! They are comfortable right out of the box. They are made from super soft leather. I love the sand dollar color. Thank you, Dansko, for introducing this great neutral. I live in Danskos and this is one of my favorites. I just bought my second pair.

Run a size larger than all of the other size 40 Danskos (including Mary Janes) that I own. I thought they were just wide at first, but 39's are great!

These are great shoes. I am a true size 8 and prefer the size 39. Super comfy as I expected! So happy with this purchase. Totally feminine and stylish way to wear a clog.

I bought these at a local store today (sorry, Zappos, but I was there and could walk out with them). Finally, a pair of Dansko MaryJanes that don't cut across the front! I'm so happy.
