I highly recommend the Dansko Sam for purchase. I have a lot of feet problems and own 6-7 prs. of Danskos. They are great for standing on concrete all day teaching school. I ordered this pair for a NYC trip. Did not have long to break them in. Walked all over Manhattan without aching feet! They look great with skirts, skinny leg jeans, and rolled up boyfriend jeans. I like the fact that they are dressier then the Dansko clog. I ordered 5 pair of shoes & returned 4 pair - no shipping. Go Zappos - no shipping cost!

One of the best, most comfortable Dansko shoes I've ever owned. The Sand Dollar color is such a cool neutral...looks fabulous with jeans, but equally great with short ankle-length or cropped pants. The toe is rounded so a large foot looks nice while the ankle strap keeps the shoe on securely...no embarrassing slapping when your walking quickly. I wear them all day teaching...and sometimes forget to take them off when I get home until it's time for bed...really, a VERY comfortable style!

These are another pair of Danskos that have once again proven that they are not worth the money. They are extremely uncomfortable. The leather is stiff and cuts into your feet as do the straps. I love clogs and wear other brands such as Bjorn and Clarks. I will never purchase Danskos again.

I am so glad that a friend recommended Dansko! I started working retail again and am on my feet for 6-7 hours each day. I'm a curvier gal and these really helped with foot pain and are great without any additional inserts. I have high arches and a wide foot. I actually want to purchase another pair in brown very soon!

I'm getting some of the chafing at the top that people have mentioned, although it was better on my second wearing, so I am optimistic that they'll break in. The ankle strap is also almost impossible to buckle with one hand, so getting them on is a bit of a wrangle. And they definitely make my feet sweat. They're adorable in the red, though, and that's worth its weight in gold for a comfortable shoe in my size (11.5, although I had to get these in 12). Assuming they do stop chafing, I'll get a ton of use out of these for work.

I have truly terrible feet: very wide, bunions, crooked big toes, very narrow heels. I have 3 pairs of Dansko Margretes that I ordered a number of years ago and still wear. When I ordered a new pair two years ago, they were so tight I couldn't get the shoes on. Found out they were now being made in China so I gave up on Danskos. So glad I started looking at their shoes again. I read all the reviews, then ordered the red in 40 and 41. I wear a size 9.5 WW. The shoes are adorable -- really, really cute. They hide my ugly toes and make my feet look nice. The 40 is a little tight but the 41 was too long and cut into the inside of my left foot. The right felt sloppy. So I'm keeping the 40. If these work out, I'll order more in other colors. Zappos has been so patient with me because in my search for comfortable, attractive shoes, I've ordered lots and returned lots. Order one day, get the shoes the next plus free shipping. Can't get that service with other stores.

I really loved these shoes - so much so that I spent far more than usual for sandals. I have tons of regular Dansko clogs but this was my first pair of soft-insole sandals, and I am happy to see that I am not the only one who found that they are stinky.

I have a long walk to and from the subway for my commute and I've had a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable for that walk AND to wear all day. I'm tired of carrying extra shoes in my bag. I decided to try these Dansko sandals because I've heard great things about the comfort of the brand and they look great for spring, summer and fall. I ordered a 39 (I'm usually a 9 US) in the Sand Dollar color. They are a bit too small (too short and too tight on the opening part of the closed toe. I'm going to exchange them for the next size up and see if they fit better.

First pair of Danskos. They are comfortable. Out of the box, I wore them one day, and the next day I took a long walk with them. Plenty of room in the toe box. Cuter than some Dansko shoes.

I wanted a closed toe sandal as open toe shoes are not allowed at my job. These are perfect. Very very comfortable as always with dansko and stylish.

I bought these in two sizes to try. I think both fit my foot bed, but the bigger size fit my width a better. I am wearing them around the house right now trying to figure out if I should keep them. I have large ankles (I am not overweight), and it seems the straps could get a little annoying, so I am not sure. Otherwise, these shoes are super comfortable, and I personally think they're cute, even if my 20 something friends don't agree.

Incredibly comfy! I got the 39 and am usually between a 8.5 and 9 and this fit perfectly. Customer service was incredible, as the first pair was stolen from my front porch. Zappos sent a second pair in no time whatsoever...am getting them in red. cute and spunky!!

In LOVE with these shoes! So comfy, so cute, so perfect. I got countless compliments on how adorable they were, and I wore them for 10+ hours at a time with absolutely no discomfort. I splurged on these shoes as a Mothers Day gift for myself (I NEVER spend this much on a pair of shoes). Not even a week after receiving them in the mail I spilled some melted butter on one of them causing a few grease stains D: I was absolutely devastated. As I was referencing the Zappos website to figure out the type of leather the shoe was so I could figure out my cleaning options (FYI: there aren't really ANY stain removing options) I had noticed the price had dropped by a ton within a week. Zappos not only refunded me, but they're also REPLACING my shoes. AT NO CHARGE. Who does that?! I will for sure be talking up Zappos for a while & I'll be using Zappos for future shoe purchases.

I LOVE these shoes. However, after not wearing them too long, THEY STINK. Apparently this is a well-known problem. Guess I need to call Dansko and they'll send me shoe spray and a brush to clean the funk out.

Super cute sandal! I needed a pair of summer shoes I could work in and these are so comfortable. I like that they are lighter and a wee bit more feminine than other Dansko styles. The buff color stains easily, my only complaint.

These shoes are great! I work in the restaurant industry and we have always been left with ugly clogs to wear, so these are cute and super functional, I wear them when I am not working. The only drawback is that there is no ventilation and they make my feet sweat when I am running around at work. These are not really shoes to wear socks with. So I am not sure what the solution is. But I am looking for them in another color. I got the red and love them! I wish the other colors were a little less expensive but they are worth it, as they are super comfortable!

These are great shoes. They are very comfortable to walk in and super stylish. They can be paired up with a wide selection of pants, skirts, etc. My feet do get a little sweaty in them, though. I wear a size 9N, so I went down, which I returned because I needed the larger size (I fell right in between the Euro sizes).

My feet are rejoicing. Great for bunions. Comfortable right out of the box. And they're still cute. Life changing, seriously.

When I first saw these shoes, I fell in love with them and purchased all the colors. It's amazing how painful these shoes turned out to be. The pressure was Unbearable On The Bony Area below My Small Toe, Especially The red and black ones. I used a candle and rubbed it on the area of the shoes that is causing the excruciating pain. somehow it would help ease the pain.

I loved the look of these, but the fit was really uncomfortable on my feet. Unlike typical Dansko clogs the toe box felt narrow to me, and they rubbed in a really uncomfortable way on the big toe side of my foot. They were also tight across the top of my foot. Disappointed to have to return them, but not up to the normal Dansko comfort levels.

Super cute, they felt pretty good walking around the house, so I wore them to work. Ouch! A couple of hours in and I had several toe and vamp spots rubbed raw. I have about 15 pair of Danskos and about the same of anita. Now I am stuck with them. Phooey.

Not quite as comfortable as the Dansko Professional clog, but very close! Looks much more stylish with a business attire dress code while still providing support for standing at work for 8+ hours a day. The ankle straps are secure and no break in time was needed. I typically wear size 10.5 to 11, but need a 43 in Danskos to prevent my toes rubbing at the end.

Love them! Comfortable out of the box. Have gotten many compliments. Highly recommend.

Nice looking and comfortable. I like that they are stable - no ankle twisting. These shoes are well made and after many months of wear, they still look great and don't show the wear. I do sometimes get a red spot (pre-blister) over one of my big toes when I walk in them ~1 mile or more. I wish the toe area breathed more... but it is a closed-toe shoe.
