After many months of increased wearing, these shoes have finally started to become comfortable. The straps are good, but the toe box really dug into my foot on one shoe. Comfort shoes should not be uncomfortable. While I'm keeping them - and wearing them - my biggest complaint is the fabric liner on the sole. It feels horrible, does not wick away moisture, and smells awful. I've started just wearing them with socks, which gets me nowhere in the fashion department, but at least they're more tolerable that way. Should have returned them but was too stubborn not to keep trying. They're "fine," no more, no less.

These shoes were the most comfortable things I put on my feet! However, they were too big. What's worse, they looked so much cuter out of the box, than on my feet. Very sad to send these back. They would have worked had I gone down half a size, and worn them with long flared jeans...but then, what's the point!? I will say, I sure am jealous of those for whom this shoe works. Sadly, I'm not one of them.

Love these shoes! The color is the perfect shade of neutral, they are the most comfortable shoes. A slight platform but no significant heel height. I wear them to work in my professional office, and easily in more casual settings, too. I couldn't be happier with them! And the shoe quality and material was worth every penny. I will have the shoes as a part of my wardrobe for a very long time. A classic style that will last!

Love these shoes...ordered two different colors to decide on color. Loved them both, but decided on the brown. In a perfect world, I would've of kept them both! They're so comfortable!

These shoes are so cute but they gave me such bad blisters on my toes. I had to return them because I could not imagine ever wearing them again.

I purchased these shoes because of the rave reviews on comfort. These shoes are comfortable at the front area, but the straps rub against the middle part of my feet where the straps run across. My skin feels burned and rubbed a few minutes after I wear them. I have tried wearing them with socks and band-aid hoping to create a barrier and breaking them in. It has been 4 tries, but still uncomfortable around the straps especially in the medial part of the feet. I am unable to wear them for more than a couple of hours. Very disappointed! I have purchased two. I will need to return the other one.

Super comfortable and great support. I have back issues and have had plantar fasciitis so wanted a stylish and supportive shoe. This is it. I am now buying it in several colors. Zappos continues to impress with great customer service and lightening fast delivery.

I was so disappointed by the Dansko Sam. I frequently wear Danskos for trips to cities because I can walk in them all day in total comfort. I have collected four or five pairs of Danskos over the years. I bought this pair to go to NYC, but after only one evening of walking I had blisters on the top of my feet, under each big toe, on both small toes and on my back heel from these shoes! I have never had Danskos that destroyed my feet like this! I could barely walk and had to place band-aids all over my feet. There is nothing abnormal about my feet; in fact they are somewhat narrow. The Dansko Sam does not meet the standards for comfort and fit I expect from Dansko and I have to say I don't know if I will be purchasing them again after this experience.

These are seriously some cute shoes! And they go with so many outfits! The only issue I have with them is that the top rubs against my foot and often leaves blisters. I will have to find some half socks or stretch them out. I have wide feet and I wonder if this might be part of that.

While these shoes are a bit narrower in the toe box than my usual Danskos, these are now my favorite summer shoes. Dressy or casual, depending on the outfit. Super comfortable. Great neutral color.

I love these shoes! Comfortable, a little heel to make me feel skinnier! they go with everything, cool for the summer and best of all I can breeze through a 12 hour work day with no question from my feet! Just my head. :) P.S. I love Zappos!

Having worn these shoes for several months, I have to say, I am not happy with the sizing and wish I could return them. As another reviewer stated, the toe box seems to be unusually short for Danskos in this style. The shoes start out feeling comfortable, but after several hours, my toes are aching and my foot feels like it's flattening out. It's too bad because I like the way they look, but they certainly don't feel like they should have cost what I paid for them. At the end of the day I can't wait to take them off. Order a half-size up in this style.

Great shoe! Very happy after several weeks of wear. Only drawback is the buckling; I just prefer easier on/off. The comfort is great, no wearing in was needed. Shoe fit perfect right out of the box. Wish I could get every color.

Stylish and comfortable. Wore them all day for sightseeing. Cushioned footbed and good arch support made all the difference.

Perfect for work in the summer. Work in an office, mostly business casual every day, but walk around a bit. I wear the regular clogs with a back in the winter with socks. Very supportive for this style, still not as good as the clogs. If my job was more physical, these would not work.

The MOST comfortable shoe! Wore it to an outdoor wedding in Ft. Worth, TX and danced the whole night in them. I ordered my exact shoe size and it fits perfect. HIGHLY recommend.

Oh these shoes are PERFECT. I have a 'medium' width foot with high arches. I had my eye on the Sanita 'Daphne' shoes, but after seeing a few reviews, I decided this shoe (the Sam) was probably a better bet. This shoe fits like a glove. Super comfortable, no weird spilling out or pinching like the reviews on the Daphne... I am *always* a 38 and Dansko, and this is no exception. Really pretty on the foot.

This shoe is just ok. The look and feel seem cheaper than my other Danskos. My old ones were made in Europe, but these are made in China. The leather seems cheap, and the footbed material seems to be some kind of synthetic moleskin which felt yucky on my bare foot. On the other hand, the construction seems solid and the shoe feels balanced and very light. Size was TTS for me (I wear 7 or 7.5 but always take 38 in Dansko). Fit was awkward at the toe-compartment - not tight per se but looked like my feet were spilling out the sides. My instep is high, and feet are probably on the wider side of normal, but this hasn't been an issue with previous Danskos. The style is very cute, so I'm sorry it didn't work out for me.

I love these shoes. I live in Dansko's and it's great to have a pair that looks reasonably nice with dresses/skirts for work. Very comfortable, true to size, and the tan color is great for spring/summer!

Dankso's are the very best shoes out there! These cuties are not only super stylish and appropriate for both pants and dresses/skirts, they are of superb quality, and even better comfort. My job requires for me to be standing a lot, and I have to wear closed toe shoes, what better than these shoes? Nothing! I have them in Brown, am getting them in black right now, I never want to wear another shoe again!

Super comfortable! And in hot days, it does get kind of sweaty in the front. I teach and stand and walk almost all day, and I can wear these without a problem!

Love these shoes! I've been a Dansko fan for many years, but recently have had to stop wearing my Professionals because of a tendency to "ankle wobble," but when I saw these sandals, I just couldn't resist them! I was hoping that the ankle strap would help stabilize my foot, and I was right - no ankle wobble! The padded footbed was different, but I quickly got used to it. Comfy right out of the box, too. These shoes are great with jeans and skirts:dress them up or down, you'll be happy either way!

Love, Love, Love! Super cute, I get compliments on them all the time. Perfect for narrow feet, the straps took a few days to get use to but now I don’t event notice them. Highly recommend for a stylish shoe that you can wear all day long.

I absolutely love these shoes! Bought them in red and they couldn't be cuter. I wear a size 10 and have a long, skinny foot. The 41 fits well. The heel height is good, I have enough room in the toe box, the only thing that's weird? The straps. I have a pair of Dansko Valerie Mary Janes, also size 41. With those I have to tighten the straps to almost the last hole to keep them on. These straps are so short I can only go one or two holes in, and my feet are scrawny! I cannot imagine how anyone with meat on their feet (semi-plump) could wear these shoes. Just an FYI.

I love these shoes! Great arch support. The color is great, and works well as a neutral shoe, which is surprising.
