Snap did not work. Returning! Very disappointed.

These shorts ran very small. I recommend sizing up.

I am a Kuhl fan. This is my first pair of shorts I've had from them. The style is great, the length is perfect, the material is strong and flexible (though not very breathable, so they can also get pretty hot). They do tend to run a little small....I'm 128 lbs, 5'4" and usually a size 6, so I ordered a 6. They were a bit snug (especially in the back) when I first put them on, but they do stretch a little, so they have gotten more comfortable with time. My biggest gripe on these would be the pockets, (as seems typical with most women's clothing), the pockets are too small, even the side pockets. I can't secure my phone in them while I'm out and about. I do wear them frequently, so I do like them. Overall, I'd rate them just slightly above average, and probably would seek out a different style or brand in the future.

Kuhl altered their sizing and I'm not happy about it. I have 6 pairs of these shorts in different colors that I've bought over the past 3 years. LOVE them. In most clothes I wear a 6, sometimes 8. Kuhl tends to run a bit small so I've always gotten the 8s. Ordered a new pair in size 8 and can barely get them over my hips, let alone zip them. All my other size 8s fit fine. Measured with a measuring tape and the waist and leg openings are definitely smaller. So disappointed. I am returning these and will have to find another brand with more consistent, accurate sizing for future purchases. :-(

Too tight in the butt. The pants I got for my husband were surprisingly more forgiving than the women's shorts. Prana has a better fit for girls with some booty.

I have bought this item several times and noticed a slight variation in fit for the same size item. (1 slightly small and another slightly too big.) However, I ordered the same item in the same size again, and it is a full size too small. Unfortunately I already took the tags off or I would have sent back.

I got my regular size and they fit okay, with exception to the crotch. The crotch sagged and bunched down, even though they pretty much fit. I guess the cut has something to do with it or the way the fit me. Also didn't like how the length hit me, whether rolled down or a couple folds up. The hem is very large, so it ended up rolling up too much. I liked the color and would have kept them, if they didn't give me such a sad crotch.

Cute shorts, but odd fit. The rise on the size 6 was too short, though the rest of the fit was good. They dug into what my little granddaughter calls her ‘sensitive parts .’ I will send them back. I am 117 pounds, 5’4” and usually wear a size 4 or 6.

I have had to return 4 of these to Zappos because of the poor quality of the stitching. Threads unraveling even before I try them on. Not sure what is going on with Kuhl's as usually they have great quality and workmanship on their apparel. And for the price, they should. Other than quality, the shorts fit well and the material feels durable. I would buy and keep them if Zappos could send me a pair where the stitching was adequate.

Not for women who do well with "curvy" fit. I wear a 10, ordered a 12. They fit in the tush area but there was big gap at the waist.

Two years ago these shorts were perfect. I wish I had bought more then. This year I got the 8, it was too small, even though I was an 8 previously. Tried the 10 and it still fits poorly - the distance from the back waistband to the crotch is shorter than my size 8 from years ago - it's so uncomfortable. Yet if I go any larger it will be too baggy. So long, Kuhl, you had to change the whole cut of these. You used to be my favorite - looking to EMS or Prana instead.

Way too short in the crotch am I am only 5'4". Gave me "camel toe." Runs small everywhere.

Do NOT buy these shorts if you are hoping to look at all feminine. They are really long (I'm 5'4" and they hid my knees!) They're manly, too. I was hoping for shorts with a longer inseam but still feminine. They're going back.
