Pretty good insole. It helps my plantar fasciitis for walking, but it didn't do the trick with running, which is why I purchased it. If you're like me, and trying to piece together some combination of products so that you can run, here's what's worked for me. I wear the Feetures compression sock, then two pairs of socks over that, then I wrap my foot around the arch to the mid heel with packaging tape (athletic tape would probably be better, but I have an abundant supply of this; not too tight, or there'll be pain on sides of feet when running), and then for the insole, I use the New Balance insole IUSA3810 (it's specifically for plantar fasciitis; it has a rise/hump directly in the middle, where the plantar fascia is; this supports the fascia, and alleviates the pain).

Fits perfect in running shoes. Bought this product to help in the initial phase of plantar fasciitis. This insole is very rigid in the arch and slightly padded in the heel and ball of the the foot, so it has has pretty good support. Definitely helped with arch support while walking around, but after a while the rigid arches just made my feet hurt. Quality product though.

So far they are terrific. The arch is a little off where it needs to be, but my heels feel so much better (than with my custom orthotics), that I think I will just live with that. Style rating doesn't really apply

I was hoping the orthotic would fit my foot just like Vionic Tide II. While it is comfortable it does not offer the same support so I was a little disappointed. Quality of construction and durability is awesome though.

I cut these to size for my new Keen Voyageurs. I had to cut quite a bit to match the insole I removed, so I won't commit to "full size larger" but it was close. I'm a hair stylist and I wore these for a day at the shop. I have anti fatigue mats under the chairs, but walking across the salon can be painful on cement under tile, these insoles gave me significant relief. I would say the pain level went from a '10' to about a '3', but any relief is good relief.

Orthaheel's insoles are great, they provide excellent arch support while still being soft and cushioning. I have used these insoles to run (~20 mi) per week and have definitely felt a difference in my feet and lower legs from the switch (I previously used the Spenco Cross Trainer). The 'Active' model is distinct from the 'Relief' model in that it has a hard plastic bottom which solidifies the arch support for more intensive, pounding activities (like running or tennis). The only negative about these insoles is that the top is made of a faux-suede which is nice and soft but takes a while to dry. My feet often sweat during the activities that this insole was designed for, and I wish that the top of the insoles was made with a quick-drying synthetic material instead.

I am comparing these to Powerstep Pinnical. So far these seem good. The only problem so far is that they come long, so you may have to trim the fronts to fit. So they are not true to length?

I wanted so badly to like these insoles. Even tried them for a couple days to break them in but they wouldn't. I had a problem with where the arch is on the shoe as well as how high the arch is. Had I known what to expect of orthotic insoles I wouldn't have bought these for myself as I do not have high arches, nor do I suffer from back pains when walking long distances.

They are good, I wanted something that gives me the same support at the Orthaheel sandals but these are different. These are more towards the other orthotics available out there.

Great item, I bought 4 pair. I found they work best in other Orthaheel shoes, ie the Maryjanes and Loafers. You can trim them a bit in the toe box area but for ballet flats, they take too much room and leave a tight fit.

My husband thinks this non-prescription, Orthaheel orthotic offers the next best arch support to his custom made orthotic. In fact this is his second order. We have also been pleased with Orthaheel's line of sandals.

These were a great find! I have custom orthotics but it can be a pain to move them from shoe to shoe. I placed these in my walking shoes and never looked back - comfortable, no foot or knee pain, and a great alternative to the custom models.

Not as good and supportive as the built in arch supports in the sandals, but better than Scholls or that green brand I can't think of right now.

I'm a happy user of several Orthaheel products, and really like the good arch support. I think these Orthaheel "Active" orthotic insoles/inserts are excellent, at least for my particular foot and needs. I use them whenever I can in shoes that otherwise don't provide the arch support and pronation correction that I need. I have a somewhat long (Men's 11 to 11-1/2) and narrow (B or A dress shoe) foot, with a medium-high arch, and a narrow heel. And I've developed Plantar Fasciitis as I've gotten older, after years of wearing shoes without sufficient support for my feet. The only drawback that I've found with these othotics is that the relatively thick (~3/32-inch, or about 3mm) cushion in the forefoot can reduce room for my somewhat wide and tall toes (I need room in the toebox!). Likewise, the similar cushion in the heel can raise my narrow heel out of the "natural" heel cup of some shoes, which can lead to heel slip. But--as another reviewer noted--different orthotics for different shoes! These work phenomenally well in my hiking boots, and several other pairs of shoes with removable insoles.

I tried the NEXT size up. AGAIN the arch is NOT in the right place for me OR this is more of a Unisex Insole for VIONIC shoe co. I wear Vionic Summer Sandals and Vionic Flip Flops and the Arch feels so GOOD. Other brands of Insoles, such as Spenco and Power Step fit me better.

Bought sized for W 8.5-10 but there was NO way to get them into my 8.5 running shoes. Way too big. Zappos requires I fill in the starts but really cant say if they are comfortably or not, they are just too big to try

I have several Vionic sandals that I love, but sadly these orthotics did not seem to have the same support. The arch of the orthotic was too far back on my foot -- or maybe my shoes pushed my foot too far forward on the orthotic, I don't know. The arch support didn't feel as high as my Vionic sandals either (I have very high arches). The blue spots on the underside of the orthotic have extra cushioning, but since this orthotic fits such a large range of sizes, the cushioning and the arch support may not line up with your feet as well as a Vionic shoe that comes in more sizes. I also found these too wide to fit in some of my shoes. They do seem like a quality orthotic that would work for some people, they just didn't work for me.

These insoles were made to correct over-pronation (as it says on the package). I wish the online description would state that clearly. My husband looked for support/elevated heel but actually has a under-pronation. Although the support was good, we were concerned it would make the under-pronation even worse in the long run

The place that the arch support was placed caused my feet to turn out and knee pain. It was too much. I bought because it looked like a good "active" support for exercise. This would cause injury if it wasn't designed just right.

I’m a physical therapist and on a mission to find over-the-counter orthotics I can recommend to my patients. They need to work for most people/activities, which means moderate arch support, moderate motion control, and some cushion for comfort. These are built very sturdy but are too hard and stiff in the arch support to be comfortable for most people with typical everyday use. Instead I will be recommending the Vionic Orthaheel RELIEF orthotics.

These just didn't work for me. They seemed very hard and a bit too stiff. They might have been fine after a few wears. But, didn't want to risk not being able to return. I ordered two different types and went with the others as they were a bit softer. These did offer a lot of arch support and seemed that they would hold up for a long time.
