Haven't had a chance to wear them yet, as the purchased shoes had to be returned for a larger size so the orthotics would fit in them. Even with the original shoe pad removed, these orthotics are a bit larger than the other orthotics I've used, so be sure to have a shoe that is a half size larger. Even with that, the orthotic is not wide enough. Most of the orthotics are wide so they can be trimmed down, but not these. I'm a bit disappointed so far, but I will wear them to try them out before coming to any conclusions, as I have arch issues that Orthaheel has helped immensely.

I purchased these because I was having pain in my arches when I was at the gym. I have purchased some of the other Vionic insoles before so I thought I would give these a try for my gym shoes. While I sometimes still have pain these insoles have decreased the intensity and I can now exercise longer before feeling any discomfort.

I love the Orthaheel 3/4 length for my dress shoes, but unfortunately I'm in between sizes with this insole. I wear a women's 7.5-8 in regular shoes and size up to 8.5-9 in athletic shoes. The small size insole was slightly too small -- the arch was too close to my heel and my toes were over the edge of the top of the insole. I tried the medium size, but it didn't fit into my shoes! It was slightly too long in length and the heel area was way too wide. I'm afraid I'll have to return these, but I'll always consider this brand as an option. They're softer, lighter, and keep my heels in place. Spenco is too hard, and Superfeet doesn't do anything for me -- the green ones no arch support.

I thought these would help support my arches but they actually caused me feet to hurt more! I wore them for a week and then went back to my original pair from the running store and realized they did a much better job.

These inserts work well for walking and similar, low-impact use. However, if you are a runner or other type of athlete, these will not prevent foot or heel pain for your vigorous activities. Actually, since I started using these for running I feel like my knee pain has become worse. In short, if you use these for walking you'll be satisfied. For any other activities they will not work.

A solid support, over all. The arch support is good and they fit snugly into the Saucony wide hikers I have. There's none of the toe overhang that I've had with some supports. The heel cup is good, but the mid heel support is only adequate. I find the plantar fasciitis hot spot I have on my heel flaring up from time to time, which is disappointing as this was one of my reasons for purchasing this support.

I have plantar fasciitis. The support for this insert is not in the right place nor is it as supportive as the Orthheel Tide sandals. My custom orthotic is better, and so is the non-custom sole orthotic I ordered online.

I realize this was to work for men and women but this was too long for any of my shoes. I didn't want to take the chance of trying to cut it to make it smaller. I think I'll order the shoes instead.

I'm on my feet 10-12 hours a day and was experiencing major arch pain, ball of foot pain, pain in places I didn't know had nerves. These insoles were not like walking on clouds but after a couple days of wearing them, the pain was lessening. However, they are VERY SQUEAKY. Squeaky with every step, like wet rainboots on a shiny floor. Coming from in between the foam(?) and hard plastic components of the insole. After two months of squeaking, (enough time to forget how much my feet used to hurt without them...) I threw them out and went back to pharmacy insoles. No more squeaking, but now the pain is back. I am conflicted.

I wish I could rate these higher. The problem is that they are quite big so when you put them in your shoes they take up so much room that your foot feels very tight in your shoe. I tried them in my sneakers as well as a pair of casual everyday boots and both shoes were difficult to either lace or zip up once they were in. My professional orthotics, which were much more expensive...did not have a toe part, they went just to the balls of my feet. I don't know if they are all like this or just mine were since they were made esp for my feet. I really wanted these to work, but it was either these things in the shoes or my feet.

These are way too big. These were for women's 10½ to 12 and I am a 10½ and could not get these in my shoes. Orthoheel is a great idea but does not sell shoes that are 10½. You need to have a tight fit or a too large fit at this size.

Arch is way too forward towards the towards (anterior) BUT if you are in a bind you can technically move the arch support towards the ankle and put your toes past the insoles.... would not purchase again ESPECIALLY if you need serious support in your arches **CLOSER to your ANKLES**.

I own A LOT of VIONIC footwear — sandals from flip flops to wedges, boots, casual, slippers, and walking shoes (same style, new pair every 18 mos. for almost 10 years). However, I’ve found that over the past two years the arch support in the shoes has gotten considerably lower. I don’t know if they’re cutting costs or reacting to customers. Anyway, I thought I’d get arch supports to put in my shoes that are lacking the support I want. Unfortunately, even these supports made for athletic use are not firm enough. Need to return them. Wish the shoes had the quality they used to.

Really wanted these to work. Fit and size was perfect, but with narrow flat feet, this was way too much arch support and felt painful. Molding was very stiff, with no cushioning. I was walking on the arch and the ball of my foot did not make contact with the ground until I rolled into the step. The search for something that will work to replace the insoles I had previously continues.

Uncomfortable. These insoles seemed fine the first 10 minutes of playing tennis. After that, they started causing pain in the arch area even when standing. Sof Soles Athlete insoles I had before I decided to try these Vionic insoles never caused such issues. Returning.

The size and fit were fine but they hurt my feet. I have high arches and plantar faciitis in my right foot, and they did not work for me - they were painful.

Made my legs ache. I have used inserts before but these did not work at all for me. If I had not cut them to fit the shoe I would return them. I put them in a pair of Oboz shoes - felt awkward at first but thought I just need to get use to them. After two days my legs were aching - so I would not recommend them. I don't usually have problems with aching legs even when standing all day for work.

Wear a size 11 women's and these were easy to long and arch did not hit in the right place.

I love Vionic sandals and their orthotics for heels. Sadly, these orthotics hit my arch in the wrong place (it was closer to my heel than to my arch) so I had to return them.

Very impressive next day delivery. I will continue shopping with Zappos. This vionic insert, however was not that impressive. I have several Tide sandals and expected the same excellent support. These inserts are very thin and provide little arch support. I have a pair of shoes that are slightly loose, so will use the inserts instead of wearing thick socks.

Bought a pair for my sweetie and me. Both of us felt the arch hit too far back towards our heel. We trimmed them hoping they'd fit better but that didn't help. Now that they're trimmed they can't be returned so they're going in the trash. We each own vionic shoes and love them. So, Ii highly recommend the shoes for those who need significant arch support but I don't recommend the arch sports.

These orthotics are not as strong and supporting as I had hoped. I have Vionic slippers, and they have strong support and are great. Was disappointed in this flimsy orthotic.

Unfortunately, with a catch-all "unisex" sizing these did not fit into my sneakers. I couldn't try them without trimming them. Found that I could just trade the insole from my Vionic Zen sneaks and use them in my Ecco hikers!

Bought these for my boyfriend because his feet hurt in a new pair of shoes. The insoles did nothing! They are hard and I do not see how they would cushion anything. His feet hurt the same amount with them as without them. Too bad he wore them all day so I couldn't return them.

I could not feel any difference wearing this insert. I have very high arches and put them in my walking shoes. Disappointed!
