I bought this for my husband. He has 2 others in different colors. Love the style and from the picture on line, the color I chose looked to be charcoal. It really is dark navy and a terrific color so we are delighted. Would highly recommend this product.

The shorts arrived exactly as promised and in plenty of time for my planned vacation. I waited until a week before I was to leave to make the purchase. Columbia promised delivery in 3 to 5 days and they arrived in 3. Thanks, Columbia, for performing as promised.

Very pleased with the overall design/shape of the shorts. The feel of the material and the number of pockets add to the overall comfort and product usefulness. A greater color selection would be the ultimate option. Regards!

These shorts are great. Lightweight, flexible, comfortable. Not too much "swish" noise as can be annoying with nylon shorts. The belt buckle is a little flimsy, but it's nice to have a belt, all the same.

As usual Columbia has delivered an excellent product. These shorts wear great and are really comfortable.

These shorts have all the features required for golf, beach , summer concert or just a walk in the park. Excellent weight, color, sun protection, moisture resistance.......everything but money in the pockets arrived when I received these shorts.

Only had a chance to wear them once so far, but everything seems great. They do feel a little small in the waist for a 32, but that's what elastic's for.

Nice and light especially for backpacking but I wish the hip pockets were deeper and that one back pocket was zippered. Earlier versions of this short did have deeper pockets.

Great fit, love the length (I'm 6'6" and it's great to find 12" inseam), very lightweight yet sturdy and durable. The quick dry aspect makes them the perfect travel short. Will be just right for our Galapagos trip this summer.

I like all aspects of the silver ridge cargo shorts. I like the elastic waist with the light weight belt I like the light weight material I like the fit I like the clean look What I don't like is the length of the shorts. I ordered size 34x12. what I received is 34x11?? On 2-8-13 I ordered silver ridge shorts. size 34x12 and got 34x11??

I definitely like these shorts. I am 6'2" and got the ones with a 12" inseam. They almost cover my entire knee cap. Very lightweight, yet durable material. I will be buying another pair in a different color soon. They should hold up a long time.

I had just got these in and wanted to give them a try. Some of my friends were going for a 5 mile run, so I decided to join in while wearing these shorts. I was amazed at how comfortable they were. Our 5 miler turned into an 8 miler and I still had NO ISSUES with them. I was very impressed, and yes, I do recommend them!

Very functional, kept cool in a hot 86 degree Florida day, fully functional cargo packets to keep things safe. Used at Disneyworld and was perfect with all the stuff you need to carry around for twelve hours. Very Lightweight! Talk about packing light. Fit was very good, the long pants version was very snug in the crotch area and was just as good.

Bought the 12" for my husband. They fit perfectly and look great. My only issue, albeit small, is the online colors are hard to differentiate. Gravel? Grill? I chose gravel, which is a dark gray-green. Black would be nice.

Great shorts for water based summer activities. These shorts fit great and are not too short with the 12 inch inseam. My favorite shorts.

I bought these for a man who i s 6' tall, and they came just to his knees, which is what he was hoping for. It's not always easy to find 12" inseam shorts. They were trim, not too baggy and look great on him. Only wish they had been available in black.

My husband has given away all his golf shorts but the Silver Ridge ones. He has 7 pairs, and loves them. They are great for hot weather, don't wrinkle much, and are super comfy. How about making them in black and white too?

Bought this for my husband because they were very light weight. Once he started wearing them, we saw so much more. They are very packable when space is at a premium; they can be spot washed, so more then one pair is not necessary; they can be worn for every occasion from active wear to leisure and still look very good

Exactly what i wanted, my 2nd pair. I travel with these and can hand wash, hang up to dry and ready in the morning. Durable and light weight.
