I'm retired and currently travel full time with a carry-on back pack. Prior to departing, a friend with multiple Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Appalachian trail expeditions recommended these pants. I wore them from August of last year until this February continuously until I returned home to visit family. During this trip I gave away my heavy shorts and other pair of pants to lighten my load but kept my "go to" pants. What I love about these pants are that you can wear them for weeks at a time and they don't look dirty or "feel" grimy. I would wash them every three weeks. I wore them on my El Camino Trek in Spain to visiting Vietnam these last 7 months. Despite my continuous daily trekking, the Silver Ridge pants show no wear. even though I would overload the zipper leg pocket.

My boyfriend at the time was a total "jeans" guy, but with an upcoming hiking trip, I wanted to find him something more lightweight. Though he was reluctant at first to try these pants, he was raving about them by the end of the trip. He loves how comfortable they are and how easy it is to switch between pants and shorts; absolutely fabulous pants!!!

The pants are lightweight, which makes them easy to pack in a suitcase. They look great, which means you can even wear them to a nice restaurant; no one would know that they can be easily converted to shorts by zippers situated just below the knees. Highly recommended!

I have several pairs and wear them almost daily for cycling. They are the lightest, coolest pants for that kind of vigorous work-out. You can turn them into shorts if it gets too warm. They are also just warm enough to wear in weather that's too cold for shorts.

My father is an amputee, and I bought these pants for him in grill, tusk & gravel. He liked the fit and feel of them so much that he wore them to Bible study the morning after he received them. Traveling in the car for several hours is now more comfortable and convenient if he has to adjust or remove his prosthetic leg. He is very happy with his new trousers.

these were a surprise pair of trousers my husband REALLY wanted. I was pleased to be able to find them here at 1/2 the price in a retail store

Just wore these to the Reindeer Run in Minnesota at 5 degrees. I had a base layer plus these and it was perfect.
This summer I wore these in lieu of shorts to keep the mosquitos and I was very comfortable.

Pants are great for hiking as they are non-restrictive . I take them on all my trips with me. They can be used as every day wear, but are nice enough to wear out to dinner.

I bought these pants because I wanted something different than jeans or chinos. I'm really glad I got these. They fit perfect and look stylish. Got the Tusk color and wore it for three days straight. Enjoyed them so much I got another pair in Gravel. Pockets are easy to get to. My only gripe is the Velcro but it shouldn't fail me any time soon. These are great for when I run around town doing errands or on my way to college.

These are my new favorite pair of convertable pants. Great quality and fit. I really like the comfort waist on these. I will order another pair before long. Really like the grill color too.

I was a big fan of the REI Sahara convertible pants but lately they stopped including the belt and it feels like the quality is dropping. These pants don't have the side zips the Saharas do but I think the overall quality makes up for it. The individual pant legs have L and R on the zipper tags which is a huge help. I've worn them on several day-hikes and also love using them for airplane travel.

I purchased two of them. I tried them on at a store, but could not find the right size in terms of length. Decided to order them online, and certainly they are true to the sizing, they fit will. In hot environments they keep you cool, they look a little dressy which I enjoy, overall I felt it was an excellent choice! Since my purchase the price has dropped! so even better!

I am actually a tall woman, that bought these so that I could have convertible pants with a long enough inseam. My husband bought the same pants and they also worked great for him. They worked great on our safari! Fit well, functional, and lightweight.

I love them. Light weight, comfortable fabric, and the zip off feature is handy in my Pacific Northwest climate with cool mornings and warmer afternoons. Lots of pockets, and in general they feel well made. Waist and inseam are accurately sized. I highly recommend them.
