I didn't care for the white thread that was used for sewing the body of the shoe to the sole. These didn't look classy at all, so I was disappointed in them. I ordered 7.5 and it was a perfect fit for my size 7 feet. The leg of the boot fit me perfectly with room to spare. I have thin legs but not skinny. I liked the shape of the foot. I am returning these boots but keeping the other 2 styles that I ordered at the same time.

I wish I could like this boot. It's really cute, a great heel in shape and height, casual enough for jeans, but could also look great with dresses. Sad to say, the construction looks really cheap. I'm not sure why there needs to be a seam down the front. When I put them on, the left boot collapses and folds very oddly. Not in a natural floppy kind of way, but in a defect kind of way. They just don't look worth the price. Sadly, they will be going back.

Got these in 11w I am 5'11 and would say I have wide calves...but these where huge on my calves. They are well made nice leather but just really big in the calf area might be great for you if you have large muscular calves.

These are beautiful boots, but sadly they did not work for me because of my skinny legs. There was way too much room in the calves. They have to go back.

I'm beyond disappointed--the first pair had a rip in them, now this pair the shoe insteps are two different sizes/shapes. So uncomfortable and not worth a fraction of the price listed. Your exchange was very fast, though.

I absolutely love the style of these boots. However, closer inspection made me hesitant. The stitching around the sole was puckered and the leather was bunched. The toe of one of the boots looked like it had been run into a wall and was flattened. I tried them on and there was no ankle support! My heel slid off to the side and it appeared that the heel wasn't even centered on the boot. I would expect that out of a pair of cheap boots, but not this price. That was very disappointing.

I was really disappointed. My calf measures 16" at its widest part and I couldn't get the zipper past my midcalf. I ordered the extra wide calf instead.

This cute boot has BAD sizing issues. Touted to be a wide calf size is so off the mark. I could not zip them past my ankle.i am 5'2" wear a 71/2 in a wide calf boot. I think short gals have what we are missing in length, compacted into our calves, especially if you are either not a skinny gal or have muscular calves. So thin ladies enjoy and others shy away. Beautiful Boot.. but not really a WIDE calf. So sad but a must return. Ive tried several prs now.. too wide or too narrow. Just call me Goldilocks! Ordering one last pr.. Fitzwell Stirrup. Crossing my fingers!

These are super cute boots, but, aside from the fact that they are way too big around my calves, the zipper broke right off when I went to put them on. I've never even worn them. They're going back.

I looked for days for a cute pair of black boots and finally decided on these. They are really cute but they are the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever owned! I tried several pair of orthotics and still had problems with severe pain in my feet. I was going to give them away but decided that I would try one more pair of orthotics. So I got home and put them in the boots. I was excited to try them out. I tried them on, pulled up the zipper and it broke! I have only had them for a couple of months and they were expensive. I am very upset about it and now I cannot even give them away because the zipper is broken. I will never purchase a pair of Lassens again!
