Lovely shoes! Love it! I've big calf, 15.5 inches, and these boots fits perfect with skinny jeans. The material is rich and high quality.

I'm in love with these boots. I don't usually like to spend a lot of money on shoes, but so far these are worth it. For boots they are comfy to walk around in all day with just the right heel. Makes your feet look super cute and small too, which is a plus in my world. Overall very flattering and even my hubby comments on them each time I wear them.

I bought these boots for my daughter. They are super cute, are very good quality, and she reports that they were comfortable right out of the box. Bought her regular size (9.5) and they were true to size. She loves them, and at the sale price they were a great deal for a nice leather boot. We're thrilled with them! As always, Zappos delivery was outstanding. I ordered Friday afternoon, they were here on Monday afternoon.

I love these boots! Very nice looking and just the right heel height. I have small calves, but these are fine with jeans tucked in. (Too wide for skirts if you have small calves though).

I love these boots.Didn't notice any thing wrong in the contruction of them like others had. They are comfortable. The only thing I wish had been done was to extend the cushion that is at the arch to the ball of the foot. Otherwise, they are great!

These boots are a great style, but they were too small in the calf. I wear a size 10 and have just under a 17 inch calf and I could manage to zip these up, but they were quite snug and no way could I fit a pair of jeans or leggings under them. Had to send them back. Also, I had tried the extra wide calf fit of this boot first, and it was HUGELY big in the calf so that one didn't work either. Guess I'm out of luck with this boot style, which is sad because these boots are really cute and good quality.

Super cute, but the shaft circumference on the size 10 is about 17 1/4. Too wide, they must go back.

Beautiful boots. This is my second pair of Lassens. The others are the discontinued version of the Argentinas. Both are exceptionally well made, comfortable and super cute. These are exactly what I was looking for...and I looked at a lot of boots. I like the Euro style boots, but most of the ones I looked at were flat and I wanted a bit of height. Non-Euro styles looked too stiff for casual wear. I like soft leather. The Jessop is everything I wanted and more. Just the right amount of height to be comfortable and trendy. Nice soft leather. The shaft height and width are perfect fit for me. I am barely 5'2" but my legs are long and calves are thin. These look great under or over jeans or wearing with tights and skirts. They run true to size. My only complaint is they could be a but more cushioned at the ball of the foot, more like the Argentina. A note about the color. I ordered black & almost thought Zappos sent me dark brown. In certain lighting the leather has a dark espresso look. Worry not, the boots look true black once you have them on.

These boots are super cute. I have wider calves and took a risk ordering them, as 16" circumfrence boots can go either way for me. I can only get one of them zipped. But I really like the look and style of these boots and everything else about them is really comfy. So I'm going to keep them and attempt to have the shaft stretched. Lassens tend to run a little small, so I ordered a half size up and these fit great in the foot. When will boot makers learn we don't all have super skinny calves? These boots would have been totally perfect with just a smidge more room in the calf.

I love these boots, they are super comfortable, and true to size. I did have trouble with one of the zippers getting stuck, but rubbed a little coconut oil on it and it's fine. The only disappointment with the boots are they really are not black, they are a chocolate brown. If you try pairing them with something black it is obvious they are closer to the brown tone family.

This is a nice quality boot; however, it is not for people that have muscular calves. I normally wear an 8.5 but I went up a size hoping that my calves would fit. If the shaft had a small patch of stretch, it would have fit. I'm sad that I have to return these boots. I will continue my search for a nice quality, stylish boot.

I have had these boots for 2 years now and I still love them! The heel is the perfect height. Just enough to look stylish, but yet still comfortable when wearing out. I've worn these boots to work, concerts, nights out, etc. and never had a problem standing all day/night long. I am athletic and have muscular calves, but wouldn't consider my self to have really wide calves. These boots have a small gap between my leg and the boot, and it actually makes my legs look smaller, which is nice. I wear these boots with dresses and skinny jeans.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable and stylish. Being a "bigger girl", it's nice to wear boots without them slipping or having to yank them up all day. I feel sexy in these boots and wear them with skirts to work.

Love these boots, very comfortable and cute! I have an athletic calf (15.5) from years of running and figure skating, these fit perfect. The first zip up, I was wearing leggings and it was a little snug but still comfy. As other reviewers stated, these boots stretch a little as you wear them and I have no problems getting them over skinny jeans. Great fit.

Fab sassy tough but sexy boots. I've tried on so many pair of boots I've lost count. Along the way, I've learned my calves must be slightly larger than average (not quite 16" at their widest point). I'm 5'10, wear a size 10 shoe; 12-14 clothes. I already tower over most people, but like a little heel for the fashion sense, but definitely not a stiletto girl. These boots are the perfect combo. Comfy through the toe and there's some cushioning in the sole. They zip up with ease and the leather should give a little more to make them perfect. Bought for dresses and the silhouette is lovely - hugs the leg without excessive wrinkling or bagging. Not clunky at all. Could wear bootleg jeans over and still get a peek at the charming detail at ankle. At the sale price I think they're a steal!

I got this in a size 10.5, and the shaft fits around my 16.5" calf perfectly. I was glad to not have to go up to the extra wide, because that would have been too much. They fit great, and are super comfortable.

Love my new black leather boots. They were here in no time at all - I think like 2 days! Kudos to Zappos for being so fast and accurate and for selling high quality merchandise. These boots are extremely comfy on my feet. I wear size 9W and there is a bit of room in the foot. Calf is a bit snug as I measure the same as the boot. They do loosen up a bit while wearing. Plenty of room in the ankles also. They are very cute in person and I get compliments constantly. When I first received them I wore them on a day trip for about 17 hours straight and had no complaints! Love my boots and Zappos too!

Really nice boot. Fits in the foot and calf true to size. I have muscular legs and I can actually zip these. The shaft height is really nice as well - actually covers my calf. Super comfortable.

These are my new go to boot. I would say I have normal legs - not super skinny, not fat, a little muscular. I have felt some boots were too narrow to slip on over calf, and some didn't go over jeans. well, ladies, these boots were perfect! The semi-sedge type heel is super comfortable. I can stay on my feet all day in these. The boot is not too wide and not too narrow and goes great over blue jeans. I have also worn these with skirts and not too wide without the jeans. The color is awesome. I also like the little buckle detail. These are the best boots I have ever had. They were really expensive at the time, but Zappos has them on sale right now. I am thinking about getting another pair because I love them that much.

These boots are great. I have really wide feet and some wide sizes are too narrow in the toe box. These fit great without having too wide of a shaft on the boot. I had hoped for a lighter brown but couldn't get it in my size so I got the Chocolate - not quite as versatile, but I still really like these boots! They were very comfortable right from the start.

I love these boots! They were a little challenging to zip when I first got them but the extra wide was too much. They stretched to perfection. I have worn them at work, on my feet for 12+ hours and love them. I have never been able to wear boots, with my short, wide feet and thick calves. These are gorgeous, comfortable and they fit!

Beautiful boot, great leather, well made, but, for a wide calf it is very narrow. The foot fit great though. Loved, can't keep it. So sad.
