Best slippers ever. My last pair were 5 years old, worn almost everyday, rubber sole was getting a little worn so I bought myself an early Christmas present. Old pair is still wearable..

my husband normally wears a 13 D but these were too small which we have returned and received a pair of Size 14 today which are a perfect fit? so i think possibly Euro sizes may be a bit smaller, or too narrow. my size 11s were perfect for me.

After reading the other reviews about the slipper running a bit small so I ordered 2 pair and kept the larger size. I wear a 10 or 10 1/2 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 41 and 42. I kept the 42. This is my first pair of this brand and I am very happy with them. The color and style are wonderful.

Bought for my husband who usually wears a 10-10 1/2. Bought the eleven and it was tight. Returned and bought size twelve which gives him room for socks. He loves them. Comfortable and warm. A little on the pricey side but these will last him for years

Hubby wears a 10-10 1/2 so I ordered him the 11. Toe was at the end. No room for socks. Returned and bought him the 12. Fit was perfect.

I really wanted to like these. They are pretty wide and had very good support. For me, the arch support was just a little too much and I have high arches. I also didnt like feeling the back edge rub on my foot. Not uncomfortable, just strange feeling. The length fit sinilar to birkenstock arizona model for me.

Less than 24 hours after placing my order, I had these on my grateful feet! I bought them for house slippers (yes, expensive for that, but,oh, so comfy) and they are perfect from the get go. Just a fraction of an inch longer would be great, but it's fine as is and they are washable! I've worn other wool and cork soled shoes before and these are even better! Thank you Zappos for great service too.

I really like these. Have been having foot problems and they were very comfortable. As a suggestion, I ordered a 41 instead of my size, a 40 as it said they run small. Fit was great but it got cool and I get cold feet and was wearing them with socks. They stretched, so now they are loose when I don’t wear socks ??

Could not be happier with this purchase. The sapphire color is both cozy and gorgeous, the arch support fits my foot like a glove, and the shoe is very well made. The wool is thick and soft. I wear these shoes all the time in the house as a cushion against hard floors. The footbed isn't cushiony per se, like memory foam, but the rubber sole and ergonomic footbed provide exactly the kind of protection and support I wanted for my joints and foot. Worth every penny. As for sizing: I am regularly a 10.5 and the size 42 fit me well.

This was one of those cases when I really needed a half size. I wear an 8 or 8.5 mostly. (ordered a 39). The 39 works out great with Birkenstocks. These just fit, but I could tell my heel was going to keep hitting the low rise back and I suspected it would curl up and I'd be stepping on it over time.. I am pretty sure the 40 was going to be too big. The support of the insole was decent, but it had a rubbery feel and and feet did not slip in and out easily with or without socks. Kinda defeats the purpose of a slide in shoe. And I know they are slippers, but I wanted a supportive feeling in the insoles and on the tops. The top part of the shoe had a lot of room and it felt like my foot moved around a lot. I suspected the weave style would only loosen more over time. I wanted to like these. The reviews were much better then other boiled wool mules. Sorry it did not work. Also, they sent me the wrong color.

I loved these slippers, especially the wonderful footbed and arch support. Unfortunately I have a very high instep and the opening across the top of my foot is way too tight. I doubt they'd stretch out enough to be comfortable (or that I'd be able to tolerate the stretching process), so back they go and for the time being I'll wear my Haflinger wool slippers (very similar to these in style) which I've purchased for over 20 years. Other than that, they're lovely slippers.

Wow! How I love these slippers. Supportive and comfortable!. Right out of the box I thought the heel cup might be too short, but it softened up and became very comfortable quickly. I cannot walk or stand on bare feet comfortably, so these are always on my feet while I'm at home.

I like the heavier sole, but it is not as flexible and comfy as the soles on my Ammern or Lunz slippers. These soles are firmer and thicker making them better for trips to the mail box. The soles on my Ammern's are very soft and flexible, but they only lasted a few months and are inside only, jury still out on the pair of Lunz's. The Veitch innersole is longer lasting leather, but they feel better when worn with socks, unlike the other two styles which have boiled wool innersoles and feel snuggly on my bare feet. These do have a nice arch support. I have a high instep and usually order a 10 or 10.5. The 42's were perfect for my medium width/narrow heels. I had tried the same size in the Vent style but they were too wide.

Thankfully I read reviews for this product and ordered a size up. They are the most comfortable shoe I have. They are house slippers so the style is really not what I bought them for. I recently broke my foot and ankle, so I can no longer walk barefoot in the house and these offer amazing support! Would 100% recommend these.

My shoe size is usually 8 1/2, but the 40 I ordered was just the right length, letting my heel fit perfectly within the slipper's back edge. Nice, non-slip, sturdy soles. A bit snug for my wide feet and high arches, but with a few days wearing, will be perfect. Warm and comfortable. That said, I dislike the arch supports; they are just too hard and don't quite fit my arch. Luckily the insert can be switched out. Otherwise, they are just what I needed, a plain, comfortable house shoe, in a dark blue color that will not discolor. Pricy, but worth a try.

This is the second pair of these slippers that I've worn. Wonderful arch support, terrific for indoor/outdoor and warm. The first pair lasted for about 5 years and they were the only pair of slippers I wore. Worth the price!

These are comfy and warm and fit perfectly. They aren't quite as cute as I thought they'd be from the picture but they're slippers for goodness sakes, so how cute do they need to be? Love them!

I absolutely love these slippers. I have feet problems and these have just the right amount of arch support. Wish they made sandals!!

I’ve had Giesswein slippers for several years. They’re not cheap, but they’re oh so comfortable, they hold up well, and they can be worn outside. When I knew I wouldn’t be able to maneuver my feet into sneakers after an upcoming hip replacement, I thought a nice new pair of slippers was in order. These slippers do not disappoint. They’re easy to slip on, they stay on my feet with no effort, and, as with the others, they are SO comfortable, I think I might stretch out my return to regular shoes. These are just wonderful.

This runs a full size and a half smaller than advertised. I compared this to a roommates size 13 and they match perfectly heal to toe. I was looking forward to treating myself to these after reading all the stellar reviews. I just wish their sizing was correct. I spent $15 on expedited shipping and another $18 on thinner insoles in the hopes of making these work. No luck. It is impossible to find quality products in a size 15. This is a great product for people with size US 13 and under.

I had never heard of this brand...I always bought Haflinger and Vionic slippers, but this IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST, MOST COMFORTABLE, MOST SUPPORTIVE (GREAT ARCH SUPPPORT) SLIPPER IN THE WORLD. I'm back to buy a spare...plus I got them for my husband. Unbelievable quality!

After reading the reviews, I ordered the size 42 (I wear a size 10). The slippers fit very well; I have been wearing them for at least a week. The arch support is very supportive and the non-slip soles are needed when walking on my hardwood floors. Like other reviewers have stated: I wear my slippers all the time as I work from home and so many other models do not support my aging feet. These are great; certainly an investment. But, I was tired of aching feet.

Falls off your heel if you take even a slow walk. Returning these.

I really wanted to love these. The foot is fabulous for my high arch, truly so comfortable and the wool is a beautiful blue&black. But it feels like it’s stretched out and is going to fall off my foot. For the money it has to perfect, sorrry it’s going back.

My star ratings may be wrong. Pointing to one star shows 'Outstanding' and pointing to 5 stars shows 'Very Poor'. My rating is 'Excellent'. This is a great slipper. The ONLY down side I have noticed is that the very thick and heavy sole can cause the slipper to want to slide off the foot when I move it forward in walking.
