I loved these shoes but unfortunately, I am between sizes so the comfort, although a possibility, wasn't there for me - a problem with many shoes lately. Definitely - if they had fit my feet, I would have kept them!

A but snug, if you want to wear socks with these slippers go up a half size, maybe a full size if you like thick wool sox. Great slippers for around the house, well made, comfy arch support. They will break in over time. They’re more like a shie than a slipper, warm though the footbed is like a Birkenstock.

Too small but I wear a 7 1/2 and the next size up was a little large. Beware of blisters and wear with socks as the wool irritated the top part of my feet.

Fit was good - I ordered a size up after reading other reviews - glad I did (I normally wear a size 10 - got the 11). I can't wear a sock with it - would be too tight - but I live in FL, so I don't mind. Very comfortable slipper and love that I can wear it outside.

I really liked the arch support and quality of this slipper. My skin is just too sensitive to the wool. Had to return.

I wear a 41 in these shoes and the fit was perfect. They do stretch out a tiny bit so its perfect. I have a flat foot and the support in these shoes is great, I wear them around the house all the time. This is my second pair of Giesswein shoes.

Love these shoes! I bought them to wear as slippers, but they felt too firm and supportive as slippers, so I kept them to wear as shoes & I couldn't be happier with them. I normally wear size 11, so I bought the 42. They felt a little small, so I ordered the 43 & they fit perfect. I can wear then with or without socks. I then bought the Abend to wear as slippers and I love them also.

I have very sensitive skin and unfortunately have developed blisters and pain where the cord around the top rubs my skin. I love the slippers and have worn them so I cannot return them but am not sure what to do about the blisters other than wearing socks with them once my skin has healed. Or I may pass them on to my daughter in law who recommended them and loves them.

I wear 10.5 narrow and usually buy size 11 shoes and add Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx inserts. These already have a really nice orthotic-type of footbed, however, and are a bit narrower than usual 11M shoes. Anyway, when I compared them to the fit of some Keen boiled wool clogs (with my inserts) that look very similar, these win for looks but the Keens somehow stay on my feet just a wee bit better. Plus the Keens cost about half of what these do. They appear to be seriously high quality wool clogs, and if I was looking for a clog to wear with socks, I'd choose these, as they are beautiful and would work well for that. But I've been looking for some sort of an orthotic slipper that I could wear with bare feet, and I just can't make these work due to my skinny feet.

The Veitsch is just an excellent slipper in every way. Superb quality in and out as you would expect. Wool makes them warm but not hot and your feet can breathe. You won't be disappointed. Only comment: I normally wear a 43 or perhaps a 44 but with these I needed a 45 to not have my heel extend past the "heel cup".

I wanted to love these slippers so bad! Unfortunately, they need to go back. The arches were way too high for my flat feet. The slipper itself is beautifully made and looks great. The wool is soft and cozy warm. The sole is nice and thick and more like a shoe. You could definitely wear this outside of the house. I wish I could keep them.

I wear a WW or EE width; usually, European sizes are fine. This shoe, sadly, wasn't quite wide enough, or quite long enough in my usual size. I wanted it to work, but it did not, for me. Those with slightly narrower feet should be fine. It seems well made, with good support, and attractive.

These are just wonderful. Warm, supportive and easy on/off. I have bunions and hammer toes and the toe box is both wide and soft. Very comfortable. They also look great. Good enough to wear outside, and the soles seem to be sturdy and grippy. I got the light grey marled ones.

I wear a women’s 12/12.5M (men’s 11) so ordered both a 45 and 46 based on the other reviews. The 46 was too long and the 45 length was good. The toe box area is not very tall so I could feel pressure on the top of my big toe but this may have gotten better as it stretched. The issue that bothered me more was the rubbing of the back lip of the shoe on the bottom of my heel every time I took a step. I’ve worn other clog style shoes with the low lip in back that never rubbed so I’m not sure why this one did since it was definitely long enough. It’s a nice slipper and I’m disappointed it didn’t work for my particular feet.

These are fantastic slippers, I don't know how I got though past winters without them. A few years ago I tried to find a slipper that had great arch support and was easy to get on and off. That search failed. I tried again this year and found this slipper and it's exactly what I've always wanted. The arch support is excellent, it's as good as my regular shoes with orthotic insoles. They're warm without being hot. I wear them with socks and at first I was worried that my socks would get bunched up under my foot when I put them on, but now that I've been wearing them for a week I've found this is not a problem, if at first my sock is a bit bunched, it quickly fixes itself after I take a couple steps. I found the color of the slippers I got was a bit different than the color in the picture on my computer screen. The Ocean blue slipper was brighter blue in real life and the gray slipper was a darker gray.

These are the most comfortable slippers I’ve ever owned. They have pretty significant arch support and the motion of walking feels easy and fluid. Highly recommend. They do however run a bit small. I am a U.S. women’s size 8. And I had to reorder these for the size eu 40. So consider ordering up a full size to be safe.

I normally wear somewhere between an 8 1/2 and 9 normal to wide shoe. These slippers in size 9 fit me perfectly. I bought them to replace the Orthofeet slippers I’ve had for several years. The old slippers’ Velcro closure no longer stays closed, so I wanted a fixed opening for my foot to slide into. The new slippers fit the bill. Regarding plantar fasciitis, the new slippers offer excellent arch support in the right place. The wool is cozy too. I have noticed the opening has relaxed slightly, but the slippers still stay snugly on my feet. So far, so good.

Disappointed in these slippers! Very wide and very heavy. They flew off my feet when I walked. Tried to add an additional insole but they just ended up sliding out.

Waaay too small! I wanted a pair of slippers I could, well, slip into. This did not fit without a struggle.

Very nice looking slipper, but not comfortable at all. Felt tight and too short even after ordering a larger size than normal. Arch support felt like a rock under my foot. Must return these and hope to find something that is more comfortable. I want support in a slipper, but prefer comfort, not a solid hard lump of an insole.

Very 'sloppy' fit for my foot. I consider myself a regular 7.5.....

it has a rough insole so that when I slide my foot in the sock gets all bunched up. Without socks on felt better but still uncomfortable. it is like there is a lump in the middle that goes all the way across the foot from the arch rather and just an arch on one side. Expected so much more with the price. Returning.

This is a quality item, but it was kust to tight and uncomfortable.

I wear size 13 in most shoes; these fit right in size 14. Comfy and warm.
