These top quality slippers are better than most of my shoes.

First size I ordered was US 11, when I received they were too tight. I then ordered a US 13 and they are perfect. I love everything about these and so glad I ordered. Also the customer service was excellent on both times I contacted Zappos!

Just a little too snug for the cost of the slipper, even allowing for stretch in the future. Sorry they didn't fit.

I have a high arch and these feel soooo good on my feet!

I own two pairs of Giesswein Veitsch house clogs. Both pairs are size 40. The removable “Ultra Comfort” footbeds are also both size 40. They are a good fit for me. So, I ordered size 40 Veitsch with size 40 “Ultra Comfort” footbeds as shown on Zappos website. When they arrived, I tried them on and realized that, although they were stamped as size 40, they were more than one size too small. So, I think that sizing for the Veitsch is inconsistent, and I returned them without even trying to order a different size.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis and need to wear slippers in the house. When doing a search for a new pair to replace my Crocs, I came across Geisswein. I love that they are made with eco-sensitive natural materials. I took a chance on buying something well above my price range and I couldn't be happier. Just like the other reviews have mentioned, it takes a while for the insert and outer slipper to conform to your foot. When I first wore them they hurt my feet considerably. The arch was way too high and the wool scratchy. But I noticed after each day it got a little better and now after more than a week I don't even realize I'm wearing them. I was skeptical of the heel side as I don't like my feet rising up out of the slipper but it's a small concession that I can get used to given the overall excellence of the fit/comfort. I was also skeptical of the wool being too warm in the summer but after a day of wear the wool seemed soft and not at all too warm. The slippers are so comfortable and seem very well made. I highly recommend! (Also, EU sizes are not directly comparable with US sizes. I am always a size 6 US, and a 36EU fits me perfectly across different brands, not 37 that they claim is equivalent to US size 6.)

these are the most comfortable slippers i’ve ever had. the cork and leathers footbed molds to your feet perfectly and provides arch support. i want to wear them everywhere and often forget to change shoes. i’m usually a size 6 or 6.5 and i got size 37 (us 6) and it was perfect so i did not size up. in fact, over time it’s stretched a bit so they feel kinda floppy on my feet so i just ordered the vent for when i venture out. i actually ordered the vents on the giesswein site for a lower price, but those slippers—while still comfortable—did not have that heavenly insole. i wrote the company and they said the cork insole was a special thing for the US, but they no longer had a relationship with that company. so i’m returning the ones from the company and ordering from zappos. they were great about the return too. i hope they decide to find someone else to make those cork insoles with.

I really like these slippers.... I can remove the support and insert mine. In the past I ordered size 43 which fits perfectly. This time I had to order 45’s. The order taker said 43 weren’t available anymore. I will keep the 45’s, but would order couple more pair if there are 43’s available. I am fearful that the slipper won’t be available at all.

This is my third pair of Veitsch slippers. The fit is perfect for my foot problems, toe width, arthritis and require a firm sole . Have been able to make them workable with or without my orthotics. Comfortable and not warm in the summer. Can wear around the house or outside with it's terrific sole. I am a size 10 wide with narrow heels arches are flat, 41 is my best fit. Love these slippers and the colors, pricey but worth it. They wear well and for a long time.

Humorously small. Very narrow. Instep so small that foot doesn't even fit. Really disapointed.

Glasswein does it again — this is a supremely comfortable slipper with a soft footbed and moderate arch support. Not as much arch as a Vionic, but enough to be comfortable on hard floors. The synthetic sole lets me wear them outside, which I miss with my other soft-sole slippers. I bought my usual 9, and there is enough room in the toe to wear a sock if I choose. This one feels like it will last for more than a season, which it should at this price.

I have narrow feet, generally a size 7 or 7 1/2. I wanted house slippers that were substantial, slip-on and "cool". I tried Haflingers because they had really cute styles (especially the bubble design) but all too wide for me. These fit perfectly and I like the mottled colored wool, brown, burgundy, grey mix. They are going to work just fine and look good with jeans, leggings and my bathrobes. Love Zappos - they ship right away, let me know when these were in stock and applied a discount they had given me even though I failed to put in the code. Their customer service reps are truly outstanding.

I have a very hard time finding slippers (flat feet, fallen arches and a very low volume foot which means I walk out of most slip on shoes or slippers) and was thrilled to find these. Great arch support, and the shoe box is fitted enough for even my llow-to-the-ground feet. Your feet don't get very sweaty (and the insole dries out if you do sweat a little). I love that you can replace the insole down the road. And for a clog style slipper, they're actually pretty sleek looking and go indoors to our easily. For those who think the arch support in these is too much, I would suggest trying them in the morning when your feet aren't tired. I need a LOT of arch support (contrary to what some people write, high arch support isn't for people who already have high arches, they are for people like me who have almost flat feet and/or fallen arches). These felt almost lumpy in the arch when I tried them on in the evening after having unsupportive shoes on for most of the day, but in the morning, they were heaven and even after wearing all day, they feel great. Love them! I hope they keep them around for a while! Or maybe I just need to buy myself some insurance and get a back up pair.

I had to return these due to them being too narrow. If you have even slightly wide feet, these may be tight on you. They are made very well, and I really wanted to love them.

They were the right size, neither too big or small. At first they seemed too stiff but after wearing them for a couple of hours, they began to conform to my foot. The weight is perfect because my feet get too hot in fur -lined slippers. They also appear to be quite sturdy.

Quarantine comfort! Have plantar fasciitis and this show is saving me.

Overall I am disappointed by this shoe because the top layer of suede lining on the footbed detached. I had been wearing the shoes daily (only indoors as slippers) for not even a month before the top layer began sliding out of place, which exposed the sticky adhesive underneath. Very unpleasant feeling :( Maybe I just received a defective pair since I didn't see any other reviews mentioning this. Aside from that problem, I really enjoyed these shoes. Working from home means I am wearing these slippers for upwards of 16 hours a day and while these were expensive, it made sense since I would be wearing them so often. I only wear them inside but wanted a rubber sole, which I loved because it was durable and easily cleanable. I have an average-to-low arch so the insole provided fantastic support. I'm recovering from ankle tendonitis and this shoe provided a lot of relief and support. I wear a US Women's 10.5/11 so I purchased the size 42 (which is the same size I wear for my Dansko clogs). The first few days felt incredibly snug with my socks (just regular low-cut cotton socks, average thickness) and I was considering returning them. But I saw reviews mentioning that the shoes did stretch a bit and within a week, the shoes reached the perfect fit with my socks.

A cozy pair. I bought my usual size 40. They were slightly snug over the top of the arch at first but four days in and were good now. Like a nice hug. I’m usually a socks with slippers person but these are currently too snug (though, not uncomfortable) and the insoles are grippy in a way that makes my socks bunch when I try to get them on with socks. I read another review that says they get slicker over time, so fingers crossed socks later. Cozy enough without socks for now (it’s March). They are not too heavy but definitely substantial enough to run the trash out or get the mail. I have high arches and these are very supportive. Flexible bottom rubber that grips my hardwood floors and insulates well. Would recommend.

I bought size 38, my usual size in European sizing. I have a high arch so I need a good footbed. The slippers had good support to begin with but within a few months, they stretched out, and the foot bed seemed to flatten and become less supportive. Even with thick wool hiking socks, still they are slopping around on my foot. Really disappointing given the price of these slippers.

Best. Slippers. Ever. Arch support, comfort, grip- worth the expense. Zero regret.

I love these both with and without socks! To find a decent slipper/house shoe with noticeable arch support is a huge win. I disagree slightly with those who say sizing is off. I’m a 7.75-8 and the size chart said 39 and the 39 is lovely. I’m thinking I need to order a pair for my mom, who lives with neuropathy in her feet...

Most comfortable slipper ever. Only slipper I’ve found with arch support. Wool is breathable and warm.

Love the support, warmth and the way the heel holds in the foot without crushing down

Had these since October 2019 and the wool has stretched out so much that shoes are uncomfortable to wear. Was hoping to get 3-4 years out of wool house shoes. Would not it this brand again. Very disappointed.

These are the best slippers I've ever bought. Not cheap but well worth it.
