COLOR is not as depicted in the photo. I was looking for a light brown which is how it appears in this photo. When the boots arrived, they are actually a light gray--about 3-4 shades LIGHTER than this color. Not what I wanted, so back they went, though they were nice boots. Also, I generally wear a 9; could have used a 9.5, so order half size up.

I wouldn't say this is the most comfortable shoe in the world, but it certainly is the best low boot style I've found so far. The suede is rich and soft and breaks in fairly quickly. The shoe is the perfect height for skinny jeans. My only complaint is that it feels a bit narrow and my feet were pinched the first few times I wore them.

I didn't even try on the boot. As soon as I looked at the color, I knew it wasn't close to the image online. The suede putty looks like a natural brown suede in the picture. The actual color is more of a gray which I already own. Not even close Very disappointed that the colors could be that far off. I love the over style of the boot.

I really wanted to keep these shoes, but I have narrow feet and ankles and they gaped open at the top. Not in a good way. I was sad they didn't look right on me because they're such a good-looking shoe!

Nce basic booties for the fall season. These are very comfortable, however I would suggest ordering half a size below your average size. I originally ordered the 9½, which is what I usually wear but felt that was way too large for me. I ended up ordering the 9, which originally felt too snug but they were broken in fairly quickly. I ordered them in black and so far I have been very happy. These are recommended.

The first time I wore these boots they were comfortable. I wore them from 7:30am until 8:30pm and they never hurt. I was amazed I never had to break them in. I would highly recommend these boots. They were not only comfortable, but stylish too!

Thought I'd give the mail order thing a try. Seems easy enough; however, these boots were a bit too narrow and had to take the time out to ship them back. For the price I didn't feel I needed to break them in.

Pretty shoe, this Petty shoe by Mr. Edelman but I have some 'buts.' I purchased the snake skin look... petty shoe, which has a tint of a green/ish cream color. the photos provided by Zappos are accurate. It's not snake skin but a digital print maybe a little over pixeled and stretched to your graphic talking folk but the print is printed on leather then embossed with a snake skin pattern to look like snake skin but its leather. Not bad, not great..but doesn't for the price and a wish to wear a snake skin bootie under my budget. kinda wish thou the heel was slightly higher to give my calves their sex appeal but my walk in these shoes is nonchalant. love the ankle fit, cause bootie boots tend to not fit the ankle and be very wide, the petty bootie fits your ankle, which is great. Craftsmanship better then most, you can tell they manufacturer a lot of these boots. I'm usually a size 8.5, with wide feet and they fit a little big, maybe half a size smaller..an 8 instead 8.5. Not sure if I'm gonna keep em or return em but maybe see what the 8 does and rate the rest from there.

Love these boots. Put in shoe stretcher over night to loosen up and they are wonderful. Look great with jeans.

Boots were too small around ankle area

They’re so beautiful, I wish I could have kept them but they were overall too small and I felt I would be sorry if I tried to force it.

Cute but my heels slipping

It is a nice eveyday bootie, which is what I have been trying to find. I had ordered the 8 medium and felt the W would be better for my foot. The 8W became available. I was slipping out of the 8W, almost like a clog. They were quite long and loose therefore, they are being returned. If a black 7.5 W becomes available, I'll try again. Especially, at the sale price.

I love the look of these boots. I admired them online for quite a while, stalking them until they eventually went on sale and I couldn't hold out any longer. I wanted to love them. They are so cute and stylish! They remind me a lot of the shoes I absolutely lived in when I was in college... a long, long time ago. And honestly, they aren't bad, but I just have no use for a pair of shoes that doesn't fit me right. I ordered size 10.5M, since I waver between 10M and 10.5M (depending on manufacturer), and it's nice that the half-size option even exists for anything over a 10... but they just didn't fit right. They were too narrow across the ball of my foot, and yet too wide at the heel, so that they felt tight and yet my foot slopped in and out of them when I took a few steps. It's a very odd fit--too narrow in front and too wide in back. I could have tried again I suppose with a different size (maybe a 10W?) but in the end I just sent them back.

I'm new to the Sam Edelman brand, and gosh but did the Petty booties look sharp in photographs. Unfortunately, the fit was not a win for me -- I think the sizing was correct, but I love my flat boots and even the low heel on these made wearing them awkward. The Putty color was a gorgeous neutral, but the suede felt stiff and rubbed against my foot and ankle uncomfortably. I could not imagine actually wearing these for full day. Returned.

I wanted to love these booties, and probably would have forced my feet to fit them, but I just couldn’t. The wide width was more of a regular width and didn’t have enough room in the toe box for me. They’re such attractive booties, perfect heel height, great materials, and I love the color options. Sadly, I returned both pairs I purchased.

I normally wear a 7 or 7.5. I ordered these in a 7.5 and they were a bit too big. I was going to reorder in a smaller size, but the bottoms are pretty slick. Going to have to send back.
