Wow. Bought a 7, my size, but this is small. Tight toe box, a little slip in the heel. Buying up a half size might relieve the toe pinch, but then the heel will slip. What to do? It's a beautiful bootie but only if I can wear it. Have it stretched? Would mean committing to these. I'll take them to the shoemaker for an opinion. If that's workable I"ll be so happy. Found it to be effective with other irresistible. For now, I couldn't even wear these around the house for break-in. Heh. Been on my feet for less than ten minutes and My toes are asleep. What am I thinking? I'm long past suffering for shoes!

I seriously love this shoe, but I have bought FOUR PAIRS from Zappos and returned them all because of some major flaw. A couple had huge dents in the front of the boot, one pair was two different shades of black, and one had scratches all along the side of the boot. I've seen this shoe at urban outfitters in person so I know what they're supposed to look like, and so I've kept ordering trying to get an un-damaged pair with no luck. Really disappointed with the quality control on these. They are very flattering on my feet but I'm not willing to spend a lot of money on damaged merchandise

These boots are super comfortable right out of the box. However, the bottom of the boot is SO slippery, that I had to return! They were slippery even on carpet, I just knew I'd fall and "break my neck"! Please fix this problem for future styles!

I can't believe these got such a high ratings. First of all this price for synthetic leather is outrageous. I was curious to order them to see if they were comfortable because I've been looking for low heel black booties for a while now. What a waste of time! These booties are very uncomfortable. The fake leather may be soft and flexible, but the padding at the sole and heel is horrible. If, like me, you'll be pounding the concrete sidewalks of a city, avoid these or you could end up with major foot issues. The construction is also very poor, I noticed some very obvious irregularities along the sole … some area looked like they were not glued properly. Again, this much $ for mass production made in a certain country? Ugh. I ended up spending quite a bit more on a pair of Paul Green booties very similar to these (Tommy). Beautiful suede, leather insole, great arch support and handmade in Austria. If you are looking for a long-lasting, quality shoe, don't buy these.

I have the Pettys in black and love them. I ordered the leopard and was so excited to receive them. Who wouldn't love a leopard bootie, right?! Well, when I opened the box, I was so bummed! They were made of HAIR! Gross!!! It did not say that in the description or I would definitely not have ordered them. So... Sam Edelman... If you are out there checking out your Zappos reviews... please, please, please make a leopard bootie that is not gross hair! Total bummer.

So disappointed! I LOVE these boots, I have them in black and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I ordered them in Putty because on the screen they look like a great brown boot. In reality they are grey- they're going back and the search for the perfect brown short boot continues...Zappos, you must colour check better, but thanks for being such a great service, with free delivery, at least I don't feel swindled on dollars!

These are a cute style but they are very uncomfortable. They are narrow in the instep, it is hard to get them on and off. There is no cushioning whatsoever. They are not worth the money. I just returned them.

I was very very disappointed when I ordered these boots. I am from Canada, when I got them, the boots looked like they had been worn or somehow they spray painted the bottom all around the boot. For the price this was totally unacceptable. I doubt I would ever order from Zappos again. Thought maybe because I am from Canada they would send second hand shoes, to top it off had to pay duty and then send them back - but only free shipping in the states. So I decided to purchase from a local store - wow what a difference, now the ones I got here in Canada were beautiful, soft suede and very much like the picture. I would caution you when you order, they did not look at all like the picture. I even took pictures and sent them to customer relations, didn't help expect they take them back. Very poor in my opinion. You lost a customer.

This color looked grey to me when I received them. I did not want grey booties. The shoe itself was not at all comfortable. Very disappointed. Sending them back.

I don't understand the high rating of these shoes and they are very poorly made. The back of the heels chipped immediately exposing the white plastic underneath, and the suede quickly became misshapen.

These boots look so cute but they are so cheaply made its ridiculous. The second I tried them on I could feel the heel cup and the piece over the forefoot. The leather is so thin there is no way those would hold up. These boots are a big thumbs down!
