I have bought Sanita clogs for at least a decade. I usually wear a size 10 US shoe, but a Sanita 41 is too small. So, I buy a 42, but for this shoe, 42 was also too small. I had to exchange it for a 43.

First pair of Sanita clogs. Have been wearing Dansko clogs for 10+ years. Decided to try out a Sanita due to price difference. Followed Sanita size chart and ordered 39 wide (am 38 wide in Dansko). Length feels fine but they are wider than Dansko, which is good for me. Arch support is definitely not as pronounced as Dansko. This has not been a problem for me, yet. They are definitely lighter than Dansko, so I appreciate that. The dark brown clog represented is not the same color I received. My pair is lighter brown and pebbled in texture, which looks nicer, in my opinion.

So disappointed. My old Sanita clogs fit perfectly with enough room for a medium weight sock but I have to return these are they are teeny!! I could barely squeeze my foot on with just nylon trouser socks on - both way too narrow, hard to tell if they were too short also. Felt like one of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters! Not sure if another style might work or if I have to go to Dansko for the right fit. These did not feel like the 39s that I had. Did not see this same feedback in the reviews??
I'd also recommend:
Prefer Sanita but will have to try Dansko

The Sanita professional is my usual go to work shoe - I have replaced them many times over the years and never had a problem with sizing until now. These are narrower and shorter than my old ones. I also do not like the rough texture of the leather that is now being used fo the oiled. Disappointed that a solid and comfortable style for work has been changed.

I wish there were 1/2 sizes. I am 9.5, I ordered 40 and 41 as per the reviews. I will keep the 41 even though they are slightly roomier than I want. I am switching from Dansko bc their sizing is way too large. In Dansko, my size looked liked I had clown shoes on. Sanita just fits me better, and look much better on. I have flat feet, wear inserts, narrow heels, horrible weak ankles. These Sanita clogs give me height, comfort and the funky clog look that only clog-lovers can appreciate:) I’m pretty happy.
Please consider manufacturing 1/2 sizes.

I purchased a size 39, like all (5) of my other Sanita clogs. The two pairs I ordered this time both feel tighter, especially across the in step. I started wearing Sanitas almost 10yrs ago so my clogs are older -- maybe they've changed their design?

My foot width is regular, but these regular width shoes were too tight. Exchanging them for a wide pair.

The clogs are inconsistent. One is tighter over the top instep than the other, and it's not comfortable. Very sad because my last pair of Sanita clogs were comfortable and lasted for many years before the rubber heels literally disintegrated. These are going back, and I'm not sure if I'll try again.

A friend has been telling me to try a Sanita, which she feels are much higher quality than Dansko. I ordered this one, but was disappointed in the hard insole and large size. I might try a smaller size - they do run big. I was expecting a softer insole than the Dansko. This "Prof Oil" model was not great looking or quality feeling -- it was a textured leather that felt like bumpy synthetic something, not leather. ?? I should have zoomed in on the picture, as another reviewer said; I thought it looked like suede.

I originally bought the 40, which is my usual size. I returned those and got these in 41. I still had to have the shoes stretched so I could wear them comfortably without getting to long. They were extremely comfortable until I went a couple weeks without wearing them and they needed to be stretched again. I work in the medical field and these are great for arch support but too much maintenance.

The fit and size were great. Comfortable except for a piece of plastic (or leather) on the inside of the shoe that rubbed. Very disappointed as everything else about the shoes was fine. I ordered two pairs from Zappos to see if one was better than the other, but they were both made the same way. Too bad because Dansko clogs aren't the same as they once were.

Light and gave me good back support. Would have kept them in a minute if not for the cheap interior of the shoe. A piece of leather (plastic?) rubbed against my ankle and made it impossible to be comfortable. Too bad, too, because my old faves, Dansko, are no more. If they could smooth out the insides, it would be bliss. Unfortunately, will be returning.

These ran smaller than other pairs of Sanita I have. I usually wear 39. I would need a 40 in these. They seem comfortable enough but I'm not motivated enough to get the next size. I've ordered a lot of shoes lately. For those of you with narrow feet, this is a good option. They were not too narrow for me but run narrower than other professional style clogs

I adore the look of the shoe. The shoe was very well made.
I have “Fred Flinstone feet” so I normally wear a size 7 wide-width.
So I ordered a 38 and it was much too big. I felt like I was playing dress-up in my mom’s shoes! Will try again. Love Zappos’s return policy ...Ez-Peasy!

This would have been great - I have wide feet with high arches - but seems to run kind of large; also, I like my shoes to fit tightly. Trying again later!

I liked these shoes, out of the Alegria and Danskos I also tried. I have high arches and wide feet. I picked a 37 W, I normally wear 6.5/7 W. The Danskos I tried felt like there was a hard bar across the top of the shoe. I read that was a common complaint for people with high arches. The Sanitas didn't have that problem at all. They also had a nice wide toe box. I was looking for shoes I can wear to work, nursing, where I'm on my feet all day. They also had to be leather or some sort of protection from needle sticks, chemical/biological spills, etc. I actually ended up going with a pair of leather sneakers from Vionic. They had just a little more arch support for me. But if you prefer the clog style and have high arches and wide feet, I'd go with these instead of Danskos. The Alegrias were pretty comfy too, but didn't have a wide enough toe box.

Like many of you, I had a pair of Danskos that I loved to (their) death. I tried twice, wasting time and frustration, to replace them with their exact duplicates. When I received these in the mail - it was like putting my old Danskos on my feet. I received the same size in these Sanitas as my (very) old (beloved) Danskos (39), and they fit as well. The intermediary (crappy) factory made Danskos were a full size smaller, and were still somehow both too big and too short - like wearing heavy kleenex boxes. I love these.
I'm returning them, though. The left one fits so much better than the right. I'll try again some other day.

I got these in what is in American lingo an 8 1/2 wide. It seems to me that sanita only recently started making wide widths? all I know is that I did not want to get a made in China clogged.
The matte finish is really good, and I feel like these are the best looking clogs I have owned.
They feel a little tight for a wide, but I am guessing that they will stretch a bit after I've worn them more. I've worn them for about 4 long workdays. I have to say, I think they might be more comfortable than my last pair of Dansko clogs.

This particular shoe runs very small. I purchased another pair of Sanita's in the same size and they fit perfectly. They do run narrow, which works for me.

I ordered this style in the black textured oil, wide width. These were to replace some Danskos that I'd ordered through Zappos (Always thankful for their great service!) that were too narrow. It's hard to find anything comfortable in a wide width, so I was excited to try these. They were easier to get my feet into compared to the Danskos I'd tried, but just barely. I decided to take a chance and see if wearing them a few times would stretch them enough to make them fully comfortable. After the third time wearing them, I think they may eventually become a more comfortable clog with some more time. It's been painful getting them to this point, though. They have a lot more arch support than I'm used to, even though I need the support. It's a lot taller in the shoe than usual, which pushed the top of my feet above my ankles and arches into the top of the shoe more. So this is the area of the shoe I need to stretch the most and getting there has resulted in the tops of my feet bruising. If the arch support had been even a 1/16 of an inch less tall, my feet would probably have fit just right in these. Width-wise, I'm surprised these are considered a wide. They felt a little narrower than a wide, but that too is better after my third time wearing them. The leather itself is nice looking and is the type that (hopefully) will weather well over the years and tends to take on a slightly scuffed appearance, like comfortable work boots. It's not so stiff that they feel rigid; it will give some if you bend it in some places and feels soft (the Danskos I'd ordered were so stiff they felt like rocks). I'm contemplating buying this same style in the antique brown oil color, but I'll have to decide if I want to go through the agony of stretching them out as well.

I have just been through a disaster looking for a decent pair of clogs, and I have to say Zappos was fantastic. First, I ordered a pair of these Sanitas: in the past, I had found this brand to be pretty narrow without having to order narrow, but this time, I ordered a size larger (41) - as suggested by others doing reviews here - but did not order them in narrow. They were like boats. They flopped around on my feet and probably would have killed me if I had not given up and returned them. Then I ordered the same style in Danskos, size 40 in narrow. Those were huge. Narrow? I do not think so. I tried to convince myself that they would not kill me, but I gave up after walking around with them in my house for a week. All the while this was going on, Zappos was doing their best to help, and finally I ordered the Sanitas - again in 41, but this time in narrow. Bingo. I am pretty sure that these are going to work, they actually fit. Imagine that. I do not suggest ordering Danskos: I do not know where they are made these days, but their sizing is incredibly inconsistent. As to the Sanitas, well I can only only assume that I have the narrowest feet in the world (and if you saw me, you would be surprised by this), but in the end, their narrow size did work for me, even though they do run a size small. So order on size larger and if you need narrow, order narrow do not guess. That is about it.
I'd also recommend:
Alegria (although they do NOT come in narrow), Wolky, Birkenstock
