I am so happy that I can get a fit! I have worn Dansko for years and then they changed the shoe. At that time the Sanitas were too big. I never give up! Ordered these and they are terrific. I also ordered another pair of Sanitas and they were great too. Lucky me!

I ordered size 42W and they fit my size 11W feet perfectly. The arch support is very comfortable, though it does go all the way across the foot, which feels very different than having support just under the arch. I am also pleased with the appearance of these shoes. I was worried because my feet are so large, but these clogs actually make them look smaller than they are.

I read all the reviews and ordered a size up. I'm glad I did, they fit perfect. These clogs replace my 16+ year old Sanitas and I'm very happy with them. They look just like they do in the picture. I'm going to start looking for my next pair!

I'm very happy with these shoes. I have small feet with very high insteps. I usually wear a 5 or 6W. I ordered 6.5W based on reviews. Although they're a tiny bit snug at the instep at the end of long days, they're much better than Danskos for me. They're almost as comfy as Birkenstocks, but with a bit more height!

In the restaurant industry and wore Danskos for many years because that's what the local stores sold. Having not been thoroughly impressed by my last pair of Danskos, I tried out a pair of Pro Birkenstocks but they still felt too stiff. After some research, and not wanting to wear Crocs, I found that a surprising amount of nurses and F+B folk swear by Sanitas. They just arrived today and feel like an absolute dream - they even make me feel excited about my upcoming 11 hour shift in the kitchen tomorrow!

I totally love these shoes. I bought these to replace an old pair of Dansko's. In the reviews people said that they ran small and narrow. I ordered my regular size and they were perfect. There was no break in period. I have been wearing these shoes every day since receiving them.

This is my first pair of Sanitas..I've lived by Danskos for many years--tried to buy a new pair of Danskos recently and couldn't find a pair that fit right. (I'm in between 37/38) My Sanitas fit PERFECT. True 7.5-regular width-38!

I am starting nursing school in the fall and several people recommended Danskos. After buying and returning two pairs in that brand I did a little more research and discovered that these are the same (used to be same manufacturer) but that Sanitas are still made in Europe while Dansko has moved to China. I am happy to report that these Sanitas look exactly like the Danskos but cost less, are significantly lighter, more comfortable, fit better, and have have better arch support than the Danskos. I've only been wearing them for two days, but so far they have been extremely satisfying.

Nice fit. Quality feels similar to original Danskos (wore those for decades). "Made in Poland" stamped inside. Good quality sole, material also feels similar to original Danskos. I bought the wide size and they fit my wide foot well. The footbed felt better to me than the 37 wide Danskos I tried. Highly recommend for those with wide feet.

I've been wearing Dansko clogs for a long time, and only recently discovered Sanita. They fit me even better, and are great for long periods on your feet, standing (in my case, painting) or for walking around town. They are high quality and nice looking.

These shoes are super comfortable! Run slightly wider than I needed however a little thicker sock takes care of that issue. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs for years and have had several pairs in oiled leather. They aren't the most stylish, but they do make your feet look small and add 2" to your height which for me are both good things! They are super comfortable especially when you are on your feet for several hours a day. I used to purchase them at nordstrom where they would bring out at least three pairs of the same size since for some reason they each fit differently. that's where I learned you have to try on several pairs to find the ones for you. I'm typically a women's US size 9/wide, but in dansko I always wore a size 40/regular width. I heard about sanita years ago, but have never tried them till now. since dansko changed the location of where they manufacture their clogs, and sanita used to make the footbed for dansko, i figured i'd give them a go. I have a hard time finding shoes locally that fit my feet. Zappos to the rescue! after reading several reviews about the sanita's oiled leather running narrow and small and to order a size up, I decided I would try a 40 wide and a 41 wide. The 41 wide was way too big and for some reason I couldn't get my right foot in the 40s. I ordered two additional pairs of 40 wide and they both fit great. They fit like my old dansko clogs pre change in manufacturing. current dansko clogs seem huge in the heel. iIrealize they are supposed to be loose, but my heels were absolutely swimming! in fairness to dansko, maybe I needed to go down a size, but I haven't had a chance to try a 39. needless to say, I am looking forward to getting many years of comfort from these sanitas!

Must admit I'm a bit confused by the reviews saying these run small. I have narrow feet, 10-10-1/2, depending on the manufacturer and style. I have the Professional Oils size 41 narrow which were perfect for forever until I broke my toe, making just the right shoe a bit tight. So I contacted Sanita who said I should just get it stretched. They also warned me that if I go up a size, the leather might stretch. Unfortunately, the only shoe repairman around does not have the means to stretch just the length. So I bought a pair of the Cabrios, size 42 narrow which were huge on me (and I knew they'd stretch even bigger). Thankfully, Zappos is so great about returns (thank you Zappos!). Keep in mind when buying leather clogs that the leather will stretch. Also remember that the heels are adjustable if too wide. I'm not sure as I've only worn the narrows, but based on my own experience and the reviews, I'm thinking that the narrows might run a bit longer than the wider widths. Just sayin'.

When I learned that Dansko had moved their manufacturing to China, and their new clogs didn't fit as well, I discovered that Sanita manufactured the original Dansko clogs. Thank goodness! I found the fit that I was used to.

As always my Zappos order came so fast I could hardly believe it. I'm on my feet all day for work and these are a great professional looking alternative to flats. My feet are tiny but these are true to size!

I love these shoes. Took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 39 instead of my usual 38. Perfect fit. I wore these shoes for six hours at the mall. Very comfortable!

I decided to try Sanitas after the sole on my beloved Danskos wore down astonishingly fast. I was pretty disappointed about that, since they are not easily resoled and quite pricey. The sole on the Sanitas is visibly thicker and denser, so I have high hopes. Based on other reviews I sized up from my Dansko size and they fit great! The first pair I purchased was too tight across the top, and one shoe was tighter in this area than the other. I ordered a second pair in the same size and they are perfect! I guess since they are handmade there are some differences between pairs in how tight the leather is stretched. For those who found the top too tight for their instep, I recommend trying another pair in the same size. I found these to be true to width compared to normal shoes, but they are slightly narrower than Danskos.

This is the 4th pair of Sanita narrow clogs that I've bought from Zappos. They were recommended after I developed plantar fasciitis (sp). Never a problem after wearing Sanita clogs with great arch support.

I have worn Danskos for years but decided to try Sanitas. I absolutely love them! Originally went up a size due to a review I had read but had to return them and order the same size I wear in Danskos. I will order Sanitas again!

These shoes are the best! I was reluctant to originally purchase them because the insole is so hard. The shoe salesman promised I would not be sorry and I haven't been. I have worn these clogs daily for over 14 years now (I've been through a few pairs by now). They are well made, last a very long time and most importantly, my lower back pain disappeared once I began wearing these shoes. They offer the support our feet need.

These clogs are beautiful shoes...well made, solid and comfortable. Unfortunately, I have recently had an injury to the top of one foot that will not allow me to wears clogs. Very disappointing as these shoes are perfect in every way. I gave 5 stars for comfort because they are great on one foot.

I wear an 8 narrow and the 39 narrow fit perfectly. Almost identical to Dansko, with a better price.

Love these. This is my second pair of the Professionals. I do wear a 7-7 1/2 shoe, but have to get a 39 in these and they are perfect. I have found the Sanitas are more comfortable in the arch than Danskos which are little too high for me.

My 11 year old Dansko Professional clogs in Antique Brown oil leather finally died (sole split after a fall down a mountain). I knew that Sanita made the clogs for Dansko until a few years ago, so I called Sanita to check on sizing. Sanita said to buy the same size as my old Dansko clogs. Wrong. Sanitas run narrow, so I needed the wide width. Sizing (in length) is the same as before. Vanity aside, the clogs fits the same and feel as comfortable as ever. The leather is somewhat different, in that it has a bit of a pebbled texture, but I don't care since I can use the same care kit I've used all along. Oil leather is nice for everyday, hiking, walking in the rain, and so forth. The antique brown color is a good neutral, more interesting than black. Like them so much I ordered a second pair, in red patent for a fun look.
