I have been wearing Dansko clogs for years so when I needed a new pair I simply got my size without trying them on and bought them. Wow, Danskos are not the same the new pair really hurt my feel. I went online and found out that they are no longer made the same and that Sanita was the original maker. I went ahead and ordered the Sanita and they are perfect! They feel like the original Dansko shoe.

These are great. I purchased the Sanitas after finding out that Danskos are now made in China. My previous favorite pair of Danskos had lasted for 8 years. Sanita was the original producer of Danskos and the other reviewers said that if you were looking for the quality of the pre-China mfg quality of Danskos Sanita was your best choice They are high quality, comfortable, and I live in them. I have two pairs, one brown and one black.

Very comfortable. Work 12 hours easily in these shoes. However, I am a nurse aide with thin feet so I don't feel as stable maneuvering in these because of the heels. Tennis shoes work better.

I have worn size 38 old-style Dansko clogs for years, and moved up to a 39 in the Sanita based on reviews. I didn't need to and am returning these for a 38.

I have a narrow foot and these Sanitas were in available in a narrow width. They are a perfect fit. Love them! Also, love that they are not made in China.

For all day comfort and support when you stand on hard floors, Sanita clogs can't be beat. I bought my first pair when plantar fasciitis made my first steps in the morning a real torture. A salesclerk at a comfort shoe store told me that lots of teachers and nurses wear these, so I tried them out. My sore feet are history now, but I've come to love these beautiful, durable, and unique shoes. The brown and black oiled leathers are great for more casual wear (jeans), or skirts and tights. And they are water resistant and make your legs look longer!

I don't understand the other reviews which claim the Sanitas run smaller than the Danskos. I order the wide in both and the Sanitas are definitely roomier. They feel like my original Dansko regular width clogs from 15 years ago. The newer regular width clogs in both brands appear to have been redesigned with a narrower fit. But what makes the Sanitas the real winners here is the leather. I've had multiple pairs of the Dansko cabrio where the leather has cracked across the instep. These Sanita oiled clogs have a wonderful supple textured leather. No more Danskos for me. I wish Zappos would start to carry Dromedaris. I've heard they were the original makers of the Dansko Golden Gate shoes. Then we could get all of our original Danskos from their current manufacturers.

Great shoes! I love Sanita clogs and these are as awesome as my other pair. The grey color goes with everything and they are really comfortable. The only thing is that they are a bit smaller than my other pair, but the size is still right.

I walk to work and walk back and forth quite a bit at work and these shoes are very comfortable. My feet are not sore at the end of the day. I ordered the wide after reading the reviews since I was concerned about the shoe being too narrow. I also need to go a size down, which is different than what most people seem to need. I have the 35W (wide) and like them very much. At first they seemed a bit too wide and felt a little lose but I couldn't fit in the 35R (regular) at all; it seems that those are way too narrow. I'm not sure if 36R would be a good option. I'm used to these now and actually like the freedom from the width. I love this shoe and wish I had just bought these years ago. In the last 2 years I've went through 3 other pairs of dress shoes that were $55-60 each. I figure if these last as long as they are supposed to I will actually save a lot of money. So far worth the extra expense. I wear these with my suit pants and they look professional. They also look great with my bootcut jeans. Not as cute with my pair of skinny jeans but still okay. Also these are great for going through airport security.

I already had a pair of these shoes in black but I really wanted brown ones since I wear mostly earth tones, anyway! I love them. I was a little concerned because they start scuffing almost immediately and it's really noticeable at first, but after even just a few hours the scuffing all sort of blends together and it gives the appearance of the shoe a lot more character. They are comfortable and attractive shoes, and are extremely versatile -- I can wear them with shorts, jeans, or a skirt! I recommend Sanita to anyone whose feet are just a touch too narrow for Danskos.

I love Sanita clogs. They provide excellent support and are very comfortable. I usually wear narrow, but other reviews indicated these particular clogs run narrow, so I decided to try them, as I really wanted a gray pair. The color on these is very pretty.

I was replacing some older Danskos and these run a little small. I have several 38s in Danskos. The Sanita size 38 feels about a 1/2 size smaller than the Dansko 38. Also, the instep fits more snuggly than I'd expected, probably due to feeling a 1/2 smaller. That said, the quality of the Sanita is very comparable to the older Danskos. I would order again, but definitely would size up to a 39.

As usual, a beautiful Sanita clog. The gray color is very pretty. Fit is the usual Sanita Clog fit, with excellent arch support.I have always worn a 38, and this shoe fits true to that size.

I love these shoes. They are very very comfortable, but take some getting used to. The shoes are a little high and easy to turn your ankle if not used to them. They are also a little heavy and scuff easily because they are kind of suede-esque. However, I would still recommend these shoes to anyone. I've had mine for over a year now and still wearing them proudly. Get them.

I have bought Danskos for many years. I wanted to try a different brand. Since this is my first pair of Sanitas, I don’t know if they are all the same but, there is a plastic molding that cups the back of the heal. I don’t like that I can feel it when I walk. I don’t understand why they had to put plastic in an otherwise good shoe. Returning.

Not that great but some of me tells that it was my shoe size that I picked that was wrong.

I was not originally in love with these b/c they weren't as comfy as all my other clogs (by Dansko), but I decided to keep them b/c they are cute enough. I wore them on occasion in summer without socks or with hidden low-cut socks and they were comfortable. Now that it's fall/winter, I wear them with a thicker sock and they feel just as comfortable. They are getting more broken in which helps, too. The grey color is VERY appealing and versatile!

I tried these to compare with Dansko. These definitely run narrower, so I am glad I got them in a wide width. The width was still slightly snug wearing socks, but it wasn’t an issue. The downfall was the very pronounced arch support. I have a neutral arch and don’t usually have a problem like this, but these felt like I was walking on a hard tennis ball halfway down in the shoe. I really like the shoes otherwise, but know I won’t wear them if they hurt, so I will need to return them. I did hear that each shoe is unique, so I may try them again another time.

I love my Sanitas- I've been wearing them for many years of hospital shifts. This particular style comes with a squishy footbed that I didn't notice when I ordered them- Im not crazy about and I think it makes the shoe feel less roomy (compared to my other sanitas) and a little less stable when I walk. I prefer a firm footbed. Birkenstocks with the soft footbed irk me too. However as soon as I can smoosh it down they will be perfect. I love the gray color!

I have been on the fence about these shoes but I plan on keeping them. I ordered a size bigger than normal based on the reviews but they were way to big. I returned them for my usual size and although they feel a little snug, I think they just need to be broken in. They are fairly stiff but they have a nice cusion and the arch support feels pretty good, good enough that I won't need my arch supports for general wear. The style is cute and exactly what I wanted.

Lots of room in the toe box and a lot of room in the back of the clog, too much room, which I could have lived with except for the instep. I have a high instep and whatever Sanita is using now fir that part of the shoe makes it almost impossible to get your foot into the shoe and it makes it feel tighter all around. Unfortunatley, these needed to be returned. It would really be nice if companies making clogs would offer half sizes and smaller sizes, such as 4 to 4.5 in wide options because some women have small, wide feet.
