Well what can I say about these wonderful shoes that I have not expressed before . I love the fit, I love the style, and most of all I love how wonderful my back feels by wearing Sanita. I have size 8 1/2 man's, so when I purchase these shoes I can wear a 41, and I feel that most of these styles are unisex. Sanita keeps coming up with more and more styles , that make me happy. In my daily routine I am constantly asked about my shoes , and of course I love to share about all the goodness these shoes bring me. I have tons of shoes, but seem to live in my Sanita's. Zappos.com is were we come to to buy them, since they offer the best selection and price anywhere. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is on their feet all day like I tend to be.

Cannot say enough about how great these clogs are. I have been there and back with colors and styles and such - but oiled black Sanita clogs bring back the wonder and comfort of Dansko in the old days. My shoe length is 7.5, but with wide feet I normally wear an 8 - size 39 are the perfect fit - not too tight across the top and a bit of movement in the heel - just like they are designed to fit. All the other shoes in my closet are now neglected and probably will stay that way. Love Sanita.

I love these clogs! I have been wearing Danskos and now Sanita clogs (because Sanita is the original maker of the soles for Dansko) for just about 12 years now and they are incredibly comfortable. I like usually wear a 40, which is a little bigger than my normal size in other shoes, but I like to wear really thick socks with them. I worked in healthcare for much of this time and my feet never felt better; even better than with running shoes. I turned many people onto them as the support is phenominal! These oiled professionals do have a different surface than they did before, which I like, but it does have a texture to it, and to me, it is like the texture on my saddle and my handbag. The old texture was more suede-like and scuffed more. Sizing to me is consistent. Mine always fit ever so snug when new and stretch a bit with wear. These shoes also last a really long time if you care for the leather.

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the size. I own 3 pairs of Sanita in this style, all purchased from Zappos. When I compared the black, professional oil Sanita to my identical size and style in the grey professional oil, the recently purchased pair (size 40) is a half size smaller than my grey pair (size 40, purchased in 2018). For the cost of these shoes, I expect better sizing and quality assurance from this manufacturer. Very disappointed. I wear a 8.5 in US shoes, a 39 in Birks, and a 40 in Sanita because I don't want my toes touching the end of the toe box. My toes not only touched the end of the toe box, I couldn't even straighten them out in the toe box, particularly on the right shoe. What's up with this, Sanita? SMH

These have a more quality feel than the Dankso clog, a bit more sturdy and better support. Perfect for me.

I adore these shoes. I have three pairs of them in different colors. Each pair, oddly enough, feels slightly different, but one thing is consistent: they are wonderful shoes. I wear them all day at work, go on long walks with them too. When I visit DC twice a year they are the only shoes I wear and I probably walk 6 miles a day in them for 8 days straight. Love them!

I bought these over Dansko because I read about their history and manufacturing. Dansko is made in China whereas Sanita has retained its European craftsmanship. I am normally a 7.5 in shoes and I got 38. The length is perfect but I was surprised how narrow they were. They are quite tight on with socks, but not uncomfortably so, just tight for clogs. I am wearing them around the house and they will probably stretch a bit (real, soft, smooth leather). I don't have any problems with stability, and the height is perfect, especially for wearing with work pants. They aren't as heavy as I expected either, but it seems that Sanita clogs are lighter than Dansko, which is good! Overall, I recommend these shoes, just beware that if you have wide feet, you might want to purchase in wide or look at Dansko.

Good quality. A little stiff though. I have a fairly wide foot and these just won't work. If you have narrow or regular width feet, these would be a great shoe for you.

Sanita definitely changed their sizing sometime in the past couple of years, because I have the oiled brown professionals in a 39 that I purchased about three years ago. After buying several different pairs in black (patent, oiled) in a 39 within the last year or so and having to return them because they were too tight, I decided to go for the 40. Fits just like the 39 of old! Love them, wear them all the time, but they are exactly (even doing a sole-to-sole comparison) as the 39s I purchased about three years ago. Oh, and I usually wear a woman's 8, but do have somewhat wide feet and a high instep. It felt like the new Sanita 39 is tighter across the instep and has a smaller toe box than the previous 39. The beauty of Zappos is that you can order both for comparison's sake and I wish I had done that a while ago!

I've been wearing these shoes for years. I prefer them to bare feet, if that gives you some idea of their comfort level.

I love these shoes. The arch is perfect for my foot. I feel like my posture is improved when I have them on. I have since bought two more pairs in different colors. Zappos has been very patient with my orders and returns. Thank you.

Love these shoes! I teach preschool and I am on my feet most of the day. These shoes are extremely comfortable and they look good with the "casual teacher" clothes I wear. They have exceeded my expectations -- worth the price.

I love these shoes and bought a pair of black and brown. I previously had both colors and knew the older they get the more comfortable they are. My new puppy enjoyed, too!

Love these shoes! I've worn Dansko for a few years, and thought they were comfortable, but these are so much better. The support is wonderful. My feet would slide to the front of my Dansko clogs,which caused my big toenails to break. My feet do not slide in these. I took off one star for appearance just because clogs are so clunky and I can't wear them to work, but these are my favorite shoes. I would wear them every day if I could!

Take in consideration that I'm normally a size 5 1/2 and the size 36 fit perfectly. Yes, it is very comfortable however I find that I can not wear a clog all day long every day and need to alternate shoes. I originally thought it would be great for dog walking, since I work part time as one; but I did not take into consideration that dogs sometimes need to run besides walk. This is not the shoe to run in and my foot needs to stretch out a bit more than any clog allows. (I'm also a former dancer and still dance for my own enjoyment now) Overall I do like the shoe very much.

FINALLY!! A well-made, clog that actually fits. Can't wear Dansko--the sizing seems odd for my feet, though I have tried on plenty. Fit and quality of Sanita clog is superior. Not terribly fashionable, but meets the needs for my feet.

Every Dansko lover needs to know that these are the original Dansko Sanita made Dansko for years, so if you love Dansko, buy Sanita and you will not go wrong!

My winter Sanita clogs, that I had only a few years, disintegrated beneath my feet while going to the movies last weekend. I contacted Sanita today only to learn that some clogs will do that, get dried rot yet, I paid for the Sanita clogs. I've had a pair of winter Josef Seibel shoes since 2005 which soles are still in fabulous condition. One would think, if you are going to pay big bucks for your shoes that they should last forever and that they should be made with hi-quality, lasting materials. I won't be ordering anymore Sanita clogs in the future if they are only going to last a few seasons.

Very comfortable. Has helped a LOT with my back pain. I am on my feet all day in a concrete warehouse. They take a little getting used to - they "slide" a little on your foot when you walk. That is normal!! At first, you want to curl your toes to keep them from moving - DON'T. Let them move naturally. Walk normally. That is what makes them so comfortable. I have been wearing these for about 6 years now.

These seemed clunky at first, but after wearing them a lot, it turns out they are quite comfortable. I'm preparing to order another pair in a different color, so decided to review the shoes a couple years after buying. They still look new.

I recently switched to the Sanita Profession Oil from Dansko Professional. Side by side they are more comfortable and look a little more sleek. You just have to be aware that you need to size up from your Dansko size. I am a 7.5 (38 Euro) in most shoes but the 39 fits perfectly for this model of Sanita. The shoes have nice arch support and I can wear them all day!
