They won't stay on. Every time I try to walk in them, they start to slip off my feet. The arch support feels wonderful though. I'm going to try another style of this brand.

I buy shoes/slippers with Orthaheel because of my plantar fasciitis. My biggest problem is the huge width of these products. I wear a B width shoe, and these products swim on my foot. I have to pull the velcro strip all the way over, and then have 'wings' that stick way out on the sides. I've even sewn them down. I wish that they would make these in a true B width!

These have very good arch support but run wide and minimally adjust.

I needed this slipper for the slightly elevated heel, which turned out fine. My problem with this slipper is that it is very heavy and puts pressure on the top of my foot when I walk; I have a very high arch and instep. They are velcro adjustable but to no relief.

I wish I could love these like everyone else but alas it is not to be. If you like really hard and high arch support, these are for you. If you have average arches like me, they are a no go. Back they went.

Don't be fooled by the word "slipper" this is really a shoe. The sole and footbed are heavy duty. These aren't your grandmother's slippers. If you are looking for support this is your shoe. If you want something cushiony don't spend your money.

I really love most things about these slippers: very comfortable, warm, and supportive. The only downside is because of the plushy lining, your foot slips around in this very wide slipper almost to the point of being unsafe. I've stepped right out of them a few times, and once on the stairs. So be careful walking on stairs with these. Over time, the slipper has kind of molded to my foot shape, so If I walk slowly in these, I am perfectly happy! So not for racing! Oh and one more bothersome point : if you tighten the slipper using the Velcro strip, you'll have a 'flap' that stands out and drags on the floor. Another reviewer said they just cut off the extra part. These are slippers worn only in my home, so I'm thinking of doing the same.

They do seem to help my plantar fascitis. Wear socks with them. If your feet sweat at all - they get stinky.

I love the arch support in these; however, two reasons made me return them. First, my high instep - the band across my foot began to hurt after a while of wearing them around the house. Second, the fur lining on the insole w/o any means of removing & washing them. Not a good combination for sweaty feet. :-(

If you have Plantar Faciatis these slippers feel AMAZING! Material is cheap feel. Arch support feels great. Overpriced due to the material used. I thought about returning before trying them on my feet. Once I did I was sold and will be keeping these slippers!

I agree with other reviewers that the arch support is so hard it shifts your foot and makes it uncomfortable to wear the shoes after awhile. I've had my slippers over 6 months now and can no longer wear them. My foot impression has made the shoes too hard and actually hurt now. At the price charged, I would like to think I'd get at least a years wear., but sadly I didn't.

I wear a 7 1/2, have narrow feet and own three pairs of Orthaheel flip flops in size 7, so was excited to try slippers for cooler weather. The 7's are too short, ordered the 8's instead. The velcro strap is great!

I really wanted to like this slipper. I ordered 1/2 size smaller and the length of the slipper was just right. But it is so wide my feet were sliding around no matter how tightly I pulled the Velcro flap. They are also uncomfortable, but I was willing to put up with that if it helped relieve the pain in my heel. Unfortunately, they are so loose on my feet I have to return them.

Very warm, runs large, not much flexability in the sole which is thick. If I had tried them out first, I would not have bought them, wore them so could not send back. Does seem to alien the foot.

The foot bed is very supportive similar to their sandals. The top of the slipper that goes over your foot is very stiff. I had to loosen it to then point of almost falling off to get it to stop rubbing. These will go back. Maybe if you have a low rise of your foot they world work, but even then it is not soft.

This is the most comfortable slipper I've ever bought, and I've bought many brands at Zappos and in retail stores including Ugg and Daniel Green, both comparably priced. I love the arch support and the adjustable Velcro tab which I hope will prevent the slipper from widening with use. I would have liked a more interesting color (but not a print), but that's a minor complaint because of how comfortable they are. Very happy shopper here.

I started out really liking these slippers. I have a high arch/instep and was thrilled with the great support. However, after wearing them for a while, they now make my feet roll to the outsides, and have caused me to lose my balance several times. Do not get these unless you really have a pronation issue. I don't and these slippers, while great arch support, have caused me problems.

I love orthaheel shoes and I really wanted these to work. However they don't. The arch support is wonderful but it is so wide I cannot keep it on my foot even with the adjustable velco straps.

The Orthaheel Gemma Mule Slippers are just ok. Yes they do function as a slipper with a built-in orthotic, but they fall short on stability and arch support. The slippers are roomy and soft--probably overly roomy. They gives less than adequate support for my feet with plantar fasciitis, but are an improvement over flat, everyday slippers you can buy at K-mart. If these are the only game in town for people with plantar fasciitis, then I will a) be sorely disappointed and b) would have no choice but to buy them. But I am on the hunt for something with more support. My feet cave inwards with these. Granted, these are slippers and not sneakers, but it would be nice to be able to wear them around the house without having to shuffle in order to walk straight and keep them on my feet.

These are just okay for me. They are not as comfy as I would like, but they offer good support. Prefer my Crocs for support over these slippers. Wish I liked them more, but they are not my favorite slippers.

I purchased these in the leopard print and I sure do like the way they look. This is my first pair of Orthaheel shoes so they took some getting used to. I have flat, wide feet so I'm grateful these fit in the width. And of course there is an adjustable strap that one can tighten if the slippers stretch out somewhat over time. That being said, I find the orthotic part of the shoe too hard and uncomfortable. I appreciate the arch support as I need it with my flat feet; however, this arch support is too hard and tends to hurt. The really big downer for me is these slippers are crazy hot! I live in the Midwest near Lake Michigan so it can get cold here. I find that I need to remove these slippers and let my feet cool off because they get so hot while wearing these. To be fair, I feel my feet do run hot but I feel these slippers along with a pair of sneakers and a pair of winter boots are the hottest shoes I own.

They are ok but not if you have feet problems. Do not plan on wearing them very long! I ended up buying Merrill's Encore Ice and using them for slippers I can wear them all day long and feel great.

Incredibly uncomfortable slipper. Felt like there was a rock in the middle of my foot. The arch support is too high and goes all the way across the shoe -- did not curve to a stop in the middle of your foot as it should. Returned it!

For style, they are ugly but I don't mind just wearing them in the house as for comfort - they are wonderful. But the big problem which is why it's hard to recommend them. I love the slipper -- at first, but it has stretched out so much I cannot wear them anymore. I have washed them to try to shrink them but no luck. I have had other fabric slippers and the same thing seems to happen..so I don't think it is a quality thing. I am going to try the slipper in a smaller size to see if it works then.

I had to return my first pair. I noticed after the first week of wearing them they looked very worn. The material used to cover the insole was wearing off and by the following week the material was completely coming apart. I feel that they are very cheaply made and fall apart too quickly for a slipper at this price. Zappos is a great company to order from, but if they continue to sell this product they will be losing out on profit. I read some reviews for their casual shoes (Gym shoe) and a few reviews also suggest that this product (Orthaheel) is very cheaply made.
