I took the advice and got a smaller size. But it was just too big and the arch support would hit the wrong spot. Had to return it. This is a good slipper for anyone with wide to very wide feet who needs serious arch support.

I have open toe slippers from Vionic that are very comfortable and supportive but these are too stiff and uncomfortable.

Great support but the inside is extremely slippery. Returning these but forced to keep the tan--will try for awhile because I need supportive slippers.

I wear a 9.5 so I first bought the 10.So I exchanged it for the 9 which was shorter. But the shoe still felt like I have to grip my toes to keep it on as it was too roomy. It went back, too. Too bad as I really like the arch in the shoe.

VERY WIDE! These would not stay on my feet. Also, not much of an arch support. Returned these...still looking`

Should have listened to what the previous reviewers were saying about the slippers being too wide. And I know if I sized down, they would be too short. I love the cushy yet supportive foot bed. If only they felt a little snugger on the top of my foot. I have other shoes made by Vionic, so would definitely recommend buying sandals or athletic shoes from this brand.

After being fitted for orthotics, and after telling my doctor that I live in flip-flops and slippers when not at work, he recommended that I look into the Vionic products. I have a thing about not having anything on the back of my feet - and I really like the style of these slippers. They look almost identical to the cheap, flat slippers that I have always worn. Definitely order a size smaller then usual. They are also extra wide. The fit is comfortable but they are very heavy - almost to the point of being obnoxious. The soft cushy feel when they were brand new has worn down in just a few weeks. The arch support is good - not great - but I am glad that I got them for my first pair of arch support footwear. The Vionic Tide II flip-flops are incredible.

I wear size 7 running shoes, and I wanted to be able to wear socks sometimes with these (Tacky, I know!), so I ordered size 7. Definitely need size 6, but mainly because they are so wide. If you have narrow feet, choose another slipper.

These slippers fit OK but after wearing them off and on for a couple of days and all the time a third day, my back and feet were hurting significantly. I would have had no way of knowing they would cause pain, had I not tried them out. I cannot wear them and according to Zappos guidelines I cannot return them. If you order these, be sure you understand that they are definitely orthopedic and if you do not wear shoes made similarly, you may find yourself in a lot of pain.

I have had these for a couple of years and the support was good. I just had to get rid of them because I cannot get the odor out of them. Terrible - I also have a couple pairs of sandals with the same problem but seem to be able to control the odor so far. I would not purchase these slippers again. I do need slippers with a sole for support so I am still shopping.

Definitely wide. Easy to walk out of. Yes, you can make the velcro tighter, but that pushes the slipper out of shape.

The support for the arch is typically Vionic excellent. The slipper runs huge both length and width. I didn't want to bother returning them. I just noticed last night that the bottom heels are starting to wear a little and I never wear them outside. Good, but they should last longer.

The footbed is cushiony and they seem to have a lot of support. I expect they would be comfortable if they fit your feet. The size 8 is too short, and the size 9 is enormous. Why don't they make slippers in half sizes? These are also really bright in color, much brighter than they appear on my screen.

These have the best arch support of any slippers that I have found, and they are very warm. What I do not like about them is that they are very loose. My feet are medium width, and even though they have a Velcro adjustment on the side, I could not adjust them tight enough that they stay on my feet. I remedied the problem by pulling the strap beyond where the Velcro would stick and I stuck it with Gorilla Glue. Now they fit nicely.

Zappos to the rescue again! I bough these Vionic slippers for my plantar fasciitis, I have a pair of their flip flops, wanted something warmer. Happy, happy, even if I looked like Minnie Mouse. These are not high in the looks department, very clunky. Day three right foot terry cloth foot bed unglued at the toes. I had thrown away the original box! As it was a defective pair, there was no problem with Zappos.

I have loved my previous Vionic/Orthaheel Relax slippers. I tried the Gemma mule slipper, but I have a high instep and this style is uncomfortable, so I am exchanging it for my tried and true Relax slippers.

Really felt the need to review on these Slippers. They are clunky heavy in the heel area, extremely high Arch, tends to make heel slip. Nearly fell over several times, somethings is wrong with weight of heel platform, when the heel of foot would row the rubber soul would kinda stick to floor causing your footing to stop short. Could fall easily with these slippers I would not recommend these slippers. (Fall alert.)

When I first put this slipper on, I thought, wow, this is cushy and comfortable. I took a few steps, adjusted the velro side tabs to a snuggish setting, walked a few more steps and realized despite this adjustment, this was a sloppy fit. I wear a 10M, always have, but these were not quite long enough. The toe box is huge (wide and tall) and might be great if you want to wear fat socks. However, the length is about a half size too short, almost hanging the heel off the back. With every step, my toes got mashed into the end of the toe box. My feet were fatigued in short order: toes curled to keep the front of the slipper from sliding around while also hitting the front end. With so much cushion, and there's a lot, I was surprised there wasn't much comfort when standing and walking. The arch support is good, though possibly a little too aggressive at first. With wear, I believe the furry lining would eventually flatten out some. If you need a great deal of arch support, this may work for you. The other thing that bothered me was with walking on wood and linoleum floors -- the soles clopped. The bottom soles are hard plastic, not soft rubber. They were doggonned noisy. Sadly, back they go.

Nice arch support and heel cup, however, no shock absorption and the heel height is too low (I have plantar fasciitis.) Had heel pain after a few minutes of wear. Anyone know where to get a comfy-warm/supportive slipper/house-shoe with a slightly higher heel? I'm stumped and don't want to wear my Clarks sandals around the house in the Winter.

Arch support hard as a rock, very uncomfortable with flat feet. Very cute, but that arch made the entire shoe very uncomfortable for me.

The Vionic mule slipper takes some time to get used to the feel of the shoe. It is very heavy, much heavier than a traditional slipper. I only wore it about an hour a day for the first week. It is also loud on wood floors! It is a well made sure and I think I will wear it more in the winter as it is also a warm shoe. If you want a sturdy, well made shoe, then this is the shoe for you. I like it but I don't think I will by another pair.

Let me start by saying I have very flat feet and in the past have torn tendons on the bottom of my feet. I ordered these slippers for support. I like the looks of these slippers and the arch is exactly where I need it to be. I ordered a size 8 as that is my shoe size. The slipper is true to size as far as length goes. However they definitely run wide. My foot slips and slides if I don't wear socks with them. I was hoping to wear them without socks. Not happening! If your foot is wide you will be happy.

This shoe is only okay. It took me about 2 weeks for my feet to adjust. I have really bad plantar fasciitis and wanted some relief at home. I wear insoles in my regular shoes, so I thought these would be a good supportive slipper. The arch is really high, and I have a very high arched shoe. I haven't really felt a difference in my feet and these sometimes hurt when I wear them too long. I've owned them now for a month. I'm not sure I would recommend them to anyone because of the break-in period and overly high arch. At least they are cute for orthopedic shoes? I still prefer my Old Friend sheepskin slippers over these.

I needed to return these - for my feet, there was just too much arch support - not sure if it was because the slippers were too big (and therefore the arch wasn't hitting the correct spot on my foot), but the arch just pushed too hard into my foot. Also, be advised these are not soft footbeds - I have a heel spur and need cushioning in the heel and arch, and these were killing me when I put them on. Returned them for the Acorn spa slides, which are like walking on little puffy clouds.
